Hanging and tensioning device for clothes The subject of the invention is a hanging and tensioning device for clothes, with two support arms lying directly next to one another, which complement each other in the overlapping area to an at least approximately circular cross-section, which is enclosed on the same axis by a helical tension spring, which engages the free ends of the overlapping parts of the support arms.
The present invention consists in that the gripper elements are clamps with two clamping parts each under the influence of a closing spring, between which the clothes can be clamped, and that the clamps are arranged on the support arms in the longitudinal direction of the same and are displaceable under the influence of the Closing springs are automatically secured against unintentional displacement on the support arms by friction.
In the accompanying drawing, a preferred embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown purely as an example.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a call hanging and tensioning device according to the invention, seen obliquely from above.
FIG. 2 shows, in an analogous representation, part of the same device, seen from its underside and on a larger scale.
Fig. 3 is a cross-section along the line 111-III in Fig. 1 on an enlarged scale compared to this.
Fig. 4 shows a part of the device seen from its underside and with an extended helical tension spring.
Fig.5 illustrates a cross section through one of the gripper elements of the device designed as clamps.
The device shown has two support arms 11 and 12 which are semicircular in cross section and which overlap each other and lie directly against each other with their flat sides. The two support arms 11 and 12 are held together by a coil spring 13 and brought together. This helical spring 13 has circular windings and surrounds the two overlapping parts of the support arms 11 and 12 which complement one another to form a circular cross section.
At its ends, the spring 13 has bends 14 and 15 which run diametrically to the spring coils and are inserted into associated grooves 16 and 17 on the flat sides of the support arms facing each other, whereby the ends of the spring 13 at the free ends of the overlapping parts the support arms 11 and 12 are anchored. The support arm 12 is provided near its end facing away from the spring 13 with a second groove 18 which facilitates the joining of the support arms 11 and 12 and the spring 13.
The central part of the spring 13 is surrounded by a bracket 20, the web and both legs of the spring 13 encompass almost the entire order, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 can be seen. Each of the clip legs has a slot 21 or 22 extending in the circumferential direction of the spring 13, which splits the relevant clip leg into two lobes. At least one Lap pen each clamp leg has on its inside, in the circumferential direction of the spring 13, the edge of an inwardly curved portion 23 and 24, which engages between two turns of the spring 13 to secure the clip 20 against longitudinal displacement.
A suspension hook 25 is inserted through an opening in the apex of the clamp 20 and has an end thickening 26 located between the clamp 20 and the spring 13, through which the hook 25 is rotatably secured to the clamp 20. A flexible piece of hose 27 made of rubber-like plastic is pushed over the hook 25. In the case of different devices, this tube piece 27 can have different colors for identification and easier differentiation of the devices.
The non-overlapping parts of the two support arms 11 and 12 each have a gripper element in the form of a clamp 40, which consists of two clamping parts 42 and 43 which are under the influence of a closing spring 41. Each of the clamping parts 42 and 43 has two mutually parallel ver running flaps 44 and 45, respectively. The tabs 44 of the one clamping parts 42 are each provided with an opening in the shape of the cross-section of the relevant support arm 11 or 12, while the tabs 45 of the other clamping parts 43 each have a round opening 46, as can be seen in FIG.
The support arms 11 and 12 pass through the mentioned openings of the tabs 44 and 45, so that the clamps 40 are mounted on the support arms 11 and 12 such that they can be moved in the longitudinal direction. The one, ver provided with the round opening 46 clamping part 43 of each clamp 40 is pivotable bar, the other clamping part 42, however, non-pivotable on the relevant support arm 11 and 12 net angeord. The two clamping parts 42 and 43 of each bracket 40 are pivotally connected to each other only by the relevant support arm.
The closing spring 41 is designed as a leg spring and with a few turns encloses the relevant support arm 12 and is supported with its two legs against the parts of the clamping parts 42 and 43 provided with handles 48 and 49, whereby the at the other end of the clamping parts before available, wave-shaped clamping jaws 50 and 51 are pressed against each other. To limit the displaceability of the clamps 40 to the outside, the support arms 11 and at their outer end are each provided with a thickened part 52 or 53, which forms a stop for the clamp 40 in question.
The assembly of the individual parts of the suspension and tensioning device described be ge happens conveniently as follows: First, the elements 41, 42 and 43 of the brackets 40 are put together in the desired manner and here after the brackets 40 pushed onto the support arms 11 and 12, and although from the slightly tapered end of the support arms to immediately the thickened end portion 52 or 53. Then the spring 13 is pushed over the one support arm 12 and the bend 14 of the spring 13 is inserted into the groove 16 of this support arm. Then you push the other arm 11 next to the arm 12 in the inner space of the spring 13 into it.
The latter is pulled apart so that its bend 15 falls into the additional groove 18. Now the end of the support arm 11 to be pushed through the spring 13 can easily be pushed through the loop which is formed by the bend 15 and the spring half-turn to close. As soon as the support arm 11 is pushed in so far that its groove 17 is opposite the groove 18, the bend 15 snaps into the groove 17 due to the elasticity of the spring, whereby the second support arm 11 is also secured to the spring 13.
When the support arms 11 and 12 are released, the spring 13 contracts, as a result of which the support arms 11 and 12 are displaced with respect to one another in such a way that they move their end portions provided with the clamps 40 away from one another.
A garment to be suspended, in particular ski wedge pants or breeches, is clamped between the clamping jaws 50 and 51 of the clamps 40, after which the device together with the garment can be hung by means of the hook 25. If the item of clothing is to be stretched out at the same time with the aid of the device, the support arms 11 and 12 are pushed together against the influence of the spring 13 before the clips 40 are clamped to the item of clothing. By the action of the spring 13 are after the lot let the device. outer ends of the support arms 11 and 12 and thus also the brackets 40 pushed away from each other, whereby the desired tensioning effect is exerted on the garment.
An undesired, automatic displacement of the clamps 40 along the support arms 11 and 12 inward is prevented under the influence of the closing springs 41. The closing spring 41 of each clamp has the effect, especially when a part of a piece of clothing is between the clamping jaws 50 and 51, that the edges of the openings in the tabs 44 and 45 are pressed against the relevant support arm 11 or 12, whereby the clip 40 is automatically secured by friction against unintentional displacement.
However, by grasping the two clamping parts 42 and 43 of a clamp 40 at the level of the tabs 44 and 45 and pressing them slightly against each other and against the relevant support arm 11 or 12, the friction between the clamping parts and the support arm can be reduced and thereby the Move the clamp on the support arm. The brackets 40 are set in practical use of the device according to the dimension of the edge to be tightened a garment to be hung.
In addition to the described influence of the closing springs 41, there is also a safeguarding of the clamps 40 against unintentional displacement by the fact that the clamping jaws 50 and 51 are at a certain distance from the support arms 11 and 12, whereby the clamping parts 42 and 42 when an item of clothing is unclamped 43 are clamped on the relevant bracket by pressing the two tabs facing the hook 25 of each clamp 40 from below and the two other tabs of the same bracket from above against the bracket.
