Fig.4 einen Querschnitt gemäss Linie IV-IV in Fig. 1 in grösserem Massstab und Fig. 5 einen Querschnitt gemäss Linie V-V in Fig. 1, in grösserem Massstab.
Linen and clothes fasteners and methods for their production Linen and clothes fasteners made from buttons and buttonholes or metal eyelets and hooks have the disadvantage that they greatly impede the washing and ironing of the laundry and clothes. Therefore, a variety of proposals have been made to remedy this nuisance, in which z. B. the closure is formed by hook-like nested pieces of fabric of completely flat shape.
The disadvantages of such closures, however, arose in the production, in that the attachment of the closure parts is very time-consuming because of the individual arrangement and makes the items of laundry or clothing more expensive. Furthermore, creases easily arise in the individual fastener parts as a result of tensile or compressive forces on individual points that are independent of one another, which is particularly disadvantageous for shirts and blouses.
The present invention now relates to a laundry and clothes fastener, e.g. B. for shirts, blouses, professional aprons, overalls, covers for pillows and duvets, etc., with plug-in means on the one hand and receiving means on the other hand, in which the former are inserted laterally in the closed position, which closure is characterized by the fact that elastically bendable insertion tongues on one with They are provided with a single piece of flexible tape at a distance from one another and the first of the parts to be connected lying flat,
which insertion tongues are wider than further back on their insertion sides and engage in pockets (5) which are arranged lying flat in the second part. The whole thing is such that the insertion tongues can be introduced into and out of the pockets by deformation, with the two parts being locked as a result of the cancellation of the deformation in the closed position.
The invention also relates to a method for producing such a closure, which is characterized in that the tape carrying the insert tongues is pulled from a roll, applied to an edge fold of the first part and continuously sewn to this, while the pockets are sewn at the edge fold of the second part using a template having the shape of the tape with the insertion tongues it follows.
In one embodiment of the invention, the conical shape of the insertion tongues and pockets prevents unwanted opening of the closure, while the flexible, semi-rigid nature of the insertion tongues enables effortless insertion of the tongues into the pockets. The insertion tongues can be made of semi-rigid, e.g. B. impregnated fabric or plastic material.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely: Fig. 1 is a view of the two front parts intended for a shirt with the closure seen from the inside, Fig. 2 the supply band connected to one another by a spacer and fastening Einsteckzun conditions, Fig. 3 shows a cross section according to line III-III in Fig. 1 on a larger scale,
4 shows a cross section according to line IV-IV in FIG. 1 on a larger scale and FIG. 5 shows a cross section according to line V-V in FIG. 1 on a larger scale.
The illustrated lingerie and clothing fastener is sewn to the edges of two lingerie or clothing items 1, 2 to be connected to one another, which in the illustrated case are intended for the manufacture of a shirt. For this purpose, the edges to be connected with one another are provided with edges 3, 4.
Insert pockets 5 are sewn on the edge fold 3 with the aid of a template, not shown in the drawing and corresponding to the shape of the band 6, 7 shown in FIG. 2, which are conically narrowed towards the insertion opening. Insertion tongues 6 are sewn onto the edge fold 4 and, as FIG. 2 shows, are connected to one another by a spacer and fastening tape 7 to form a coherent tape.
The ge on the edge fold 4 put tape 6, 7 is related to its part 7 of a second edge fold 8 covers and fastened by a seam. The tape 7 with the insertion tongues 6 is provided for processing in roll form and is sewn directly from the roll onto the workpieces on the running tape.
In the case shown, the band formed from the tongues 6 and their connection 7 is punched out of a semi-rigid, appropriately impregnated fabric in a coherent piece. When using non-impregnated fabric, the tape can be stiffened with starch. The use of impregnated fabric has the advantage that the belt 6, 7 cannot lose its rigidity through washing and cooking. A protection against fraying of the tape can also be achieved by suitable impregnation.
If the tape 6, 7 is made of semi-rigid or only starched material, the edges can also be secured against fraying by attaching a zigzag or buttonhole stitch. Of course, the tape 6, 7 could also be made of flexible plastic, e.g. B. a cellulose derivative, be made in the form of a flexible rail.
The edges of the two parts 1 and 2 provided with the closure parts are flat, and no difficulties can arise when ironing. Since the closure parts are also completely flexible, the washing process of the laundry items provided with this closure is not made more difficult.
