Materialkasten, insbesondere für Satzmaterial von Buchdruckereien Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Material kasten, insbesondere für Satzmaterial von Buch druckereien. Er ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er eine Mehrzahl von zur Auflagefläche geneigten Fä chern mit unterschiedlicher Tiefe aufweist und bei einer Umdrehung des Kastens, derart, dass die Fächer sich nach unten öffnen, als Ablegebehälter dienende, treppenartige Stufen vorhanden sind.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt: Fig.l zeigt eine perspektivische Ansicht des Materialkastens.
Fig. 2 ist eine perspektivische Ansicht des umge drehten Materialkastens.
Der Materialkasten hat eine längliche, liegende Form, weist zwei Seitenwände 1 und 2, eine Vorder seite 3 und eine Rückwand 4 auf und ist durch Trennwände in Fächer unterteilt. Diese Fächer haben unterschiedliche Tiefe und sind gegenüber der Auf lagefläche 5 geneigt. Durch diese Neigung und die unterschiedliche Tiefe wird erreicht, dass das auf zubewahrende Satzmaterial in Buchdruckereien, na mentlich Blindmaterial, welches verschiedene Grösse und verschiedene Länge hat, in diesem Material kasten stufenartig angeordnet und dadurch sehr leicht greifbar ist.
Das Material wird dabei stehend ein geordnet und infolge der verschiedenen Länge ent stehen stufenartige Absätze, so dass eine gute über- sichtlichkeit gewährleistet ist und .ein arbeitstechnisch günstiger Ablauf erzielt wird.
Der ganze Kasten samt den Trennwänden wird vorteilhafterweise als einziger Kunststoffteil ausge bildet. Die unterschiedliche Tiefe wird im wesent lichen durch den Neigungswinkel, welchen die obere Begrenzungskante der beiden Seitenwände 1 und 2 gegenüber der Auflagefläche bildet, bestimmt, wobei sich ein Neigungswinkel zwischen 5 und 10 Grad als zweckmässig erwiesen hat. Anderseits beträgt der Neigungswinkel der Fächerböden gegenüber der Auf lagefläche zweckmässigerweise 50 bis .80 Winkel grade. Die Fächertiefe nimmt von vorn nach hinten stufenweise stetig zu.
Die Rückwand 4, welche das tiefste Fach begrenzt, weist eine Verlängerungsrippe 6 auf, welche sich bis etwa auf Fingerhöhe gegen die Auflagefläche erstreckt, so dass der Material kasten mit der Hand gut gefasst werden kann. Im Hinblick auf den Transport dieses Kastens, der im gefüllten Zustand ein ansehnliches Gewicht hat, ist das Vorhandensein dieser Rippe ein bedeutender Vorteil.
Der Materialkasten wird zweckmässigerweise in zehn Fächer aufgeteilt, was besonders auch für des sen Verwendung zur Aufbewahrung von Ziffern- material von 1 bis 0 vorteilhaft ist. Besonders zweck mässig ist ferner eine Unterteilung der Kastenbreite durch die Trennwand parallel zu den Seitenflächen 1 und 2 im Verhältnis 2:3.
Der Materialkasten kann auch im umgedrehten Zustand verwendet werden, wobei sich also die Fächer nach unten öffnen (Fig.2). Die durch die Fächerböden gebildeten treppenartigen Stufen dienen in diesem Zustand als Ablegebehälter für Satzmate rial und dergleichen. Infolge der Schräglage der Stufen besteht keine Gefahr des unbeabsichtigten Heraus rutschens des hingelegten Materials.
Der Materialkasten kann entweder direkt auf den Arbeitstisch gelegt werden, ober aber er kann auch an einem hiezu vorgesehenen Aufbau hinten erhöht aufgehängt werden, so dass er eine Schräg lage erhält. Hiezu kann namentlich auch die Rippe 6 als Einhängeorgan dienen.
Selbstverständlich könnte der Materialkasten auch aus anderen Materialien als Kunststoff bestehen, z. B. aus Metall, Holz usw., und die nur als Beispiel angegebenen Winkel könnten variieren.

The material box has an elongated, lying shape, has two side walls 1 and 2, a front side 3 and a rear wall 4 and is divided into compartments by partitions. These compartments have different depths and are inclined towards the support surface 5. Through this inclination and the different depth it is achieved that the typesetting material to be kept in book printing works, namely dummy material, which has different sizes and different lengths, is arranged in steps in this material and is therefore very easy to grasp.
The material is arranged in an upright position and, as a result of the different lengths, step-like paragraphs are created, so that a good overview is ensured and a process that is technically advantageous is achieved.
The whole box including the partitions is advantageously formed out as the only plastic part. The different depths are essentially determined by the angle of inclination which the upper boundary edge of the two side walls 1 and 2 forms with respect to the support surface, an angle of inclination between 5 and 10 degrees having proven to be useful. On the other hand, the angle of inclination of the shelves with respect to the supporting surface is expediently 50 to .80 degrees. The depth of the compartment increases gradually from front to back.
The rear wall 4, which delimits the deepest compartment, has an extension rib 6 which extends up to about finger level against the support surface, so that the material box can be easily grasped by hand. With regard to the transport of this box, which has a considerable weight when filled, the presence of this rib is a significant advantage.
The material box is expediently divided into ten compartments, which is particularly advantageous for its use for storing digit material from 1 to 0. It is also particularly useful to divide the box width by means of the partition parallel to the side surfaces 1 and 2 in a ratio of 2: 3.
The material box can also be used when it is turned upside down, with the compartments opening downwards (Fig. 2). The stair-like steps formed by the compartment bases serve in this state as a storage container for sentence mate rial and the like. As a result of the inclined position of the steps, there is no risk of accidentally slipping out of the laid material.
The material box can either be placed directly on the work table, but it can also be hung up on a structure provided for this purpose at the rear so that it is inclined. For this purpose, the rib 6 can also serve as a suspension element.
Of course, the material box could also consist of materials other than plastic, e.g. B. made of metal, wood, etc., and the angles given only as an example could vary.
