Multiple plug device for electrical devices of the same amperage The invention relates to a multiple plug device for electrical devices of the same amperage, the essence of which is that within the device, a plurality of contact pairs are arranged, which are electrically connected in series and connected to contacts for the mains voltage are created.
It can be used to create two or more electrical loads, the total voltage of which is matched to the mains voltage.
In the drawing is the. The subject matter of the invention is presented in various exemplary embodiments, namely: FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a multiple plug-in device with two pairs of contact parts (contact sleeves) for two electrical loads of lower voltage, FIG. 2 shows a section through a multiple plug-in device with five Pairs of contact parts for creating corresponding electrical consumers, Fig. 3 is a partial section through the multiple plug-in device, the contact sleeve pairs are provided with contact locks,
which are in the range of motion of the contact pin pairs of the respectively applied electrical consumers, Fig. 4 is a diagrammatic representation of the multiple plug-in device with the course of the internally installed series circuit adapted beads on the surface of the housing,
5 shows a diagrammatic representation of the multiple plug-in device according to FIG. 4 with the contact protection device provided, and FIG. 6 shows the diagrammatic front view of the multiple plug-in device designed as a stationary wall socket with a series connection and beading. According to the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the multiple plug device consists of a non-conductive housing 10,
in which two pairs of contact sleeves 11 to apply the corresponding contact pin pair 12 electrical loads per se lower voltage than the mains voltage 13. For this purpose, the pairs of contact sleeves 11 are connected in series with one another with respect to the mains voltage 13 electrically verbun.
The total voltage of the applied electrical consumers is equal to the mains voltage, so that, for example, with a mains voltage 13 of 220 volts, an electrical consumer with 110 volts, both for the same current intensity, can be applied to the contact sleeve pairs 11, which eliminates the need for transformers come.
In the embodiment according to Fig. 2, a hexagonal insulating housing 10 is used with star-shaped opening contact sleeve pairs 11 on the hexagonal surfaces, which are optionally connected to one another in series with the interposition of a current fuse 17 known per se with respect to the mains voltage 13, so that five electrical loads can be put on, the total voltage of which is in turn equal to the mains voltage.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, electrical consumer contact locks 14, 15, 16 (short-circuit locks) are provided on the contact sleeve pairs 11 in the area of the contact pin pairs 12 there. This arrangement has the advantage that not all contact sleeve pairs 11 need to be occupied by electrical consumers at the same time, since the unoccupied contact sleeve pairs 11 (as can be seen from the right-hand part of FIG. 3) are automatically short-circuited.
Of course, the total voltage of the electrical loads applied must also be the same as the mains voltage.
In detail, the short-circuit barrier consists of a non-conductive pin 14 fastened transversely at the end of a clamped spring 15, which penetrates laterally into a sleeve of a pair of contact sleeves 11 through an opening. If there is no contact pin pair 12 here, the contact 16, which closes the circuit between the sleeve 11 and the spring 15, is closed. This pair of contact sleeves is therefore out of power.
By inserting the pair of contact pins 12 of an electrical consumer, the pin 14 is pushed outward, whereby the spring 15 is bent and the contact 16 is opened so that the current can flow through the sleeves to the consumer.
The multiple plug device can be designed both as a socket and also have contact pins for the mains power supply. Furthermore, the device can have a bayonet or screw socket for the mains power supply. Finally, the device can be designed as a freely movable coupling with a cable connection for the mains power supply.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the housing 10 of the device is bent out of the plane of the connection 22 of the mains voltage, so that the plane laid by the contact sleeve pairs 11 is perpendicular to the plane of the mains connection 22. Here, the series switching elements are embedded in beads 19, 20, 21 and the beads 19, 20 run from the power plug 22 for the power socket 18 to a contact sleeve 11 each, while the bead 21 from the free contact sleeve 11 on one side to the free contact sleeve 11 of the Opposite side extends.
If it is also possible to attach the designation 220 V on the mains side and the designations of 110 V each on the consumer side, this can be seen from the outside and even in the dark by touching the bulges 19, 20, 21 that this is a multiple connector with a series connection. Instead of the beads 19, 20, 21, heights, for example rows of tubercles, or depressions can also be attached.
According to the embodiment according to FIG. 5, the multiple plug-in device is based on the shape according to FIG. 4 from the non-conductive housing 10, the series switching elements also being embedded in beads 19, 20, 21. On the network-side part of the housing 10, a mains plug 22, 25 is provided, which is connected in series with the contact sleeve pairs 11 for receiving the contact pin pairs 12 of the plugs for the electrical loads.
The contact sleeve pairs 11 are cantilevered by grommets 26 into which the plugs of the contact pin pairs 12 are inserted. In the sleeves 26 there are contact protection contacts 23, which are preferably connected to one another as well as to the contact protection contact 24 arranged on the outer wall of the mains plug 25 in a current-conducting manner.
When the consumer plugs (contact pin pairs 12) are inserted into the sleeves 26, the protective contacts 24 provided there and applied to the consumer ground come into a conductive connection with the protective contacts 23 of the sleeves 26 and thus also with the protective contact 24 of the power plug 25. When inserting this mains plug into the mains socket 18 'of the same design, the conductive connection to the earth conductor is established via the protective contact 23 provided there.
According to FIG. 6, the multiple plug device is designed as a wall socket and a flush-mounted insulating housing 10 is used, the room-side outer surface of which reveals the opening edges (essentially lying in the same plane) of the contact sleeve pairs 11 accommodated in the housing 10.
One contact sleeve each of the contact sleeve pairs 11 used is electrically connected to a phase 27 or 28 of the voltage network 13 (present if 220 volts), while the remaining contact sleeves of both contact sleeve pairs 11 are electrically connected to one another by a line 29. The device plugs for electrical consumers (110 volts each), shown in dotted lines, close the circuit in the desired manner.
In this embodiment, too, the room-side outer surface of the insulating housing 10 can be provided with grooves or beads 19, 20, 21 which conform to the series circuit to make it clear to the otherwise common connectors.
In addition, all embodiments can be provided with protective contact devices, such as those shown in FIG.
