Track belt vehicle The present invention relates to a track belt vehicle with track belts running over front and rear to guide wheels and flanged support wheels arranged between the guide wheels, one of the guide wheels being provided with flanges and serving as the drive wheel of the associated track belt and the off a flexible material existing track strips are provided on the side facing away from the tread with a longitudinal rib which has a wedge shape tapering towards the wheels in cross section.
The rail conveyor vehicle according to the invention is characterized in that the height of the flanges is greater than that between these flanges. Running surface of the support wheels smaller than the height of the belt rib and d'ass the width of the belt rib is smaller than the mutual distance between these flanges, so that only the running surface of the support wheels carries, whereas the drive wheel only with the conical inner surfaces of its flanges on the inclined side surfaces of the ribbon rib rests.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is shown, which is particularly suitable for driving on snow. 1 shows a side view of the vehicle, FIG. 2 shows a cross section through a track belt with an associated support wheel, and FIG. 3 shows a cross section through the belt at the location of a drive wheel.
In the drawing, 1 denotes a longitudinal member of the vehicle frame. Cross members 2 and 3 protrude on both sides of the frame on the longitudinal beam 1 also. On each side of the vehicle a front deflection wheel 4 and a rear deflection wheel 5 for an endless track belt 6 is arranged. The front deflecting wheel 4 is driven by a motor (not shown) and acts as a drive wheel for the belt 6. The part of the belt which normally acts as a support part rests on support wheels 8.
The support wheels are mounted in pairs in swivel frames 10, 11, 12, 13 which are articulated in pairs on swivel frame supports 14, 14 ′, which in turn are articulated to one end of a leaf spring assembly 15. The springs 15 are attached to the carrier 2, which supports the Fahrzeugkör by in the middle.
The arranged on the front inclined part of the belt 6 wheels 8 'are mounted in a common holder 16 which is articulated by means of a pivot pin 18 to an arm 17 which is pivotably mounted on the cross member 3 with the help of a pivot pin 19. The holder 16 is exposed to the pressure of a spring 20 clamped between the carrier 3 or the pivot pin 19 and the holder at its lower part. The wheels 8 'keep the belt 6 under tension.
As can be seen particularly from Fig. 2 and 3, be the endless belt 6 consists of a strip-shaped part made of rubber or other flexible material, for. B. plastic, and from a running on the side facing away from the tread in the middle of the belt strong rib 21, which consists of one piece with the strip-shaped part and extends uninterruptedly along the belt. The belt is provided on the running side and, if necessary, on the rib side with cast-on or riveted transverse gripping and stiffening ribs 22 and 23, respectively.
The rib 21 has a large width and height in relation to the band and, in cross section, a shape tapering in a wedge shape towards the wheels with a substantially flat outer side. The support wheels 8 have flanges 24 which loosely embrace the sides of the rib and guide the belt laterally. In the exemplary embodiment, these flanges are conical on the inside, these inside sides having approximately the same inclination as the sides of the rib 21.
The distance between the flanges is slightly larger than the distance between the sides of the belt rib. The support wheels rest with their middle part 25 on the outside of the rib, while the flan's rule does not extend down to the strip-shaped part of the belt.
The greatest width of the rib 21 is approximately between 1 / 2-1 / i and 1i8-1 / 10 of the width of the band. The height of the rib is preferably greater than twice the tape thickness.
The drive wheel 4, the deflection wheel 5 and preferably also the wheels 8 and 8 'are made of a hard material such as metal, hard plastic or the like. Their parts resting against the band rib 21 can be covered with rubber or a similar rubber-elastic material.
The flanges 27 and 28 of the drive wheel 4 are, as can be seen from Fig. 3, on the sides of the belt rib 21, while between the central part 29 of the wheel 4 and the outside of the belt rib there is a clearance. As a result of the tension in the belt 6, its rib is pressed against the conical flanges 27, 28 of the wheel 4. These flanges are expediently adjustable in the axial direction for the purpose of adaptation to the width of the rib 21. The wheel can thus consist of two parts 30 and 31 which are connected to one another with the aid of adjusting screws.
With 32 and 32 'scrapers are referred to, which intervene between tween the flanges of the wheels 4 and 5 for the purpose of removing contaminants such. B. Snow, from the wheels. Similar scrapers 33 can be seen in at least one or some of the wheels 8 before.
In the strip-shaped band part and expediently also in the rib 21, a fabric such. B. a textile fabric, placed in one or more layers, z. B. embedded, roughly like in the tire of a car wheel.
