a) 22,5 Teile 1-Amino-2-nitro-4-carbäthoxy- amino-benzol werden in bekannter Weise mit 25 Teilen 30o/oiger Salzsäure und 6,9 Teilen Natrium nitrit diazotiert. Anderseits löst man 14.5 Teile 1,3-Indandion in 200 Teilen Wasser und 8 Teilen 30o/oiger Natriumhydroxydlösung auf, so dass die Lösung alkalisch reagiert;

Durable disperse dye preparation The present invention provides a durable disperse dye preparation for dyeing hydrophobic fibers which, in addition to a disperse dye, as can be obtained by coupling 1 mole of the diazo compound from a 1-amino-2-nitro-benzene, the can carry a non-water-solubilizing substituent in position 4,
with 1 mole of 1,3-indanedione (1,3-diketo-hydrindene) or with 1 mole of a derivative of the same carrying a non-water-solubilizing substituent in the phenyl nucleus, it contains at least one more dispersant.
Hydrophobic fibers which can be colored with the durable disperse dye preparations NEN, are z. B. cellulose ester fibers (acetate and triacetate silk), synthetic polyamide fibers, but in particular polyester fibers.
The term polyester fibers includes, in particular, condensation products made from terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, as are commercially available under the names Terylene, Dacron, Tergal, Terital, Trevira and Diolen (registered trademarks).
With the long-lasting disperse dye preparations, yellow and orange colorations are obtained which are distinguished by good fastness to light, sublimation and heat-setting as well as very good fastness to washing and perspiration. Furthermore, wool, cotton and viscose are well reserved when dyeing blended fabrics.
This latter property in particular has become very important, since numerous mixed fabrics are on the market, especially those made from polyester fibers and wool. When the mixed fabrics are dyed with disperse dyes, significant amounts of the disperse dyes soil the wool. These wool dyes are fake and therefore reduce the utility value of the mixed fabrics. In particular, there are no yellow disperse dyes on the market that reserve enough wool. Some of the indanedione dyes that can be contained in the preparations according to the invention are superior to all known commercial dyes in this respect.
The dyeings on 21/2 and 3-acetate artificial silk have practically the same color shade and are fast to smoke and pleated fabrics and are easy to etch.
The dyeings on synthetic polyamide fibers are characterized by good to very good wash fastness.
Examples of dispersants that can be added to the disperse dyes are: lauryl alcohol sulfonates, Turkish red oil, dinaphthyl methane disulfonic acids, Igepon A, T (registered trademarks) and many others.
The diazo compounds used for the preparation of the emulsion dyes are derived, for example, from 1-amino-2-nitro-benzene, 1-amino-2,4-dinitro-benzene, 1-amino-2-nitro-4-chloro-benzene , 1 - amino - 2 - nitro - 4-methyl-benzene,
1-Amino-2-nitro-4-acetylamino-benzene and of the 1-amino-2-nitro-4-carbalkoxy-, -cycloalkoxy-, -aralkoxy- or -aryloxyamino-benzenes which are optionally substituted in the urethane radical.
As coupling components serve in addition to the 1,3-indanedione itself z. B. the monochloro-1,3-indanedione and the 5,6-dichloro-1,3-indanedione, furthermore 2-substituted indanediones, which allow their radical in the 2-position to be exchanged for an ortho-nitrophenylazo radical, such as
B. 1,3-indanedione-2-carboxylic acid and its alkyl esters. The dyes are briefly referred to below as indandione dyes.

The indanedione dyes can be converted into finely divided form in such a way that they are dissolved in a water-miscible solvent, if necessary at an elevated temperature, and the solution is discharged onto water, the product is filtered off, washed and kneaded with a dispersant. The paste obtained can then be dried under normal or reduced pressure or by atomization. Another type recorded to the table below.
Column (I) therein represent the radical R of the amines of the formula eron (registered trademark) used to prepare the diazo compounds. Some of these dyes have not yet been described. Converting the dyes into finely divided form consists in comminuting them dry or moist, in the presence of dispersants and, if necessary, fillers and / or grinding aids, by grinding and / or kneading and, if necessary, following the grinding process with a drying process customary in pigment production.
The disperse dyes obtained in this way contain the indandione dyes in particles of the order of magnitude 1 p. By mixing two or more dyes converted into finely divided form, the drawability of the preparations can be improved in individual cases.
The dyeing on polyester fibers can be carried out by methods known per se in the presence of carriers at 80-100 ° C. or in the absence of carriers under pressure at 100-140 ° C.
Printing and padding is best done in the presence of suitable thickeners, followed by fixation at elevated temperature with or without steam.
In the following examples, parts are to be understood as meaning parts by weight; the temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
<I> Example 1 </I> A durable disperse dye preparation is made from:

1 <SEP> part <SEP> of the <SEP> dye <SEP> No. <SEP> 1 <SEP> of the <SEP> table,
<tb> 1 <SEP> part <SEP> dinaphthylmethanedisulfonic acid <SEP> sodium <SEP> and
<tb> 8 <SEP> parts <SEP> water
<tb> 10 <SEP> parts <SEP> of this <SEP> mixture <SEP> are <SEP> ground <SEP> in <SEP> a <SEP> ball mill <SEP> for <SEP> 70 <SEP> hours <SEP> < SEP> and <SEP> the <SEP> obtained <SEP> paste <SEP> dried by <SEP> atomization <SEP>.
The procedure for dyeing is as follows: 3 parts of the long-lasting dispersion dye preparation obtained in this way are pasted in a little cold soft water, poured over the paste with cold soft water, the resulting suspension is stirred well and then put through a 2-part sieve Lauryl alcohol sulfonate and 4000 parts of water be standing dye bath.
You now go with 100 parts of pre-cleaned polyester fiber material Dacron (registered trademark) at 40-50 in the bath, heated slowly and dyed in the presence of 20 parts of an emulsion of a chlorinated benzene in water for 1 to 2 hours at 95-100 rend .
The yellow dyeings obtained are then rinsed, soaped, rinsed again and dried. They are resistant to sublimation and heat setting. Co-treated wool remains reserved. In addition, the dyeings have good light, over-dyeing, washing, water, seawater, sweat and smoke gas fastness properties and can be etched white.
With the durable disperse dye preparation, polyester fibers can also be dyed as follows: 100 parts of pre-cleaned polyester fiber material Terylene (registered trademark) are brought into the bathroom at 40-50. This is slowly getting warmed up. The dyeing is carried out for about 30 minutes under static pressure at 120-130 and, after rinsing, soaping, rinsing and drying, dyeings that are fast to sublimation and heat-setting are obtained.
Acetate rayon can. Be dyed as follows: 100 parts of acetate rayon are placed in a dyebath consisting of 10 parts of dispersion dye preparation, 6 parts of Marseilles soap and 3000 parts of water at room temperature. The dyebath is heated to 80 in half an hour and kept at this temperature for an hour. The fabric is then removed from the liquor, rinsed with water and dried.
A vivid, greenish yellow coloration of good fastness to light, washing, perspiration and smoke gas is obtained.
The dyes which carry an optionally substituted carboalkoxy, carbocycloalkoxy, carboaralkoxy or carboaryloxyamino group in the 4-position of the diazo component are new and are produced as follows:
a) 22.5 parts of 1-amino-2-nitro-4-carbethoxyamino-benzene are diazotized in a known manner with 25 parts of 30% hydrochloric acid and 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite. On the other hand, 14.5 parts of 1,3-indanedione are dissolved in 200 parts of water and 8 parts of 30% sodium hydroxide solution, so that the solution has an alkaline reaction;
this solution is cooled to 0 and, with the simultaneous addition of 25 parts of sodium carbonate, the diazo compound is allowed to flow in as a 10% solution. After the coupling has ended, the deposited dye is filtered off, washed with water and dried. A yellow powder is obtained which dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with an orange color and, when recrystallized from dimethylformamide, has a melting point of 236.
b) The dye is also obtained in such a way that 21.4 parts of the sodium salt of ethyl 1,3-indanedione carboxylate are dissolved in 300 parts of acetone with the addition of 30 parts of concentrated hydrochloric acid by brief boiling and the yellow solution obtained is cooled to 10 and coupled with the diazole solution prepared under a). The precipitated dye is filtered off, washed and dried.
