Fig. 4a und Fig. 5 Einzelheiten zu Fig. 4, Fig. 6 eine Teilansicht der Fig. 4 in vergrösserter Darstellung, Fig. 7 einen Querschnitt 1-I der Fig. 6, Fig. 8 bis 10 weitere Einzelheiten.
The present invention relates to a method for the production of Ylotzbodenbags made of paper with an inner layer of thermoplastic mate rial, by forming a continuous tube with heat-sealed edges, separating tube sections and folding a cross base with the bag spread out into the usable shape with lateral triangular end tabs and a bottom edge, continuous, heat-sealed.
For the production of bags, the bottom of a flat piece of tubing is usually formed by pulling up the ends of the tubing to form the corner folds and then folding over the bottom flaps to form a cross or block bottom.
In addition, it has also been proposed to fold on a block bottom in the case of a hose workpiece that has been unfolded into the form of use. In known Maschi NEN of this type, the longitudinal sides of the tube bottom inwardly to form a middle, in the longitudinal direction of the floor touching flaps are beaten over a box shape extending to the bottom within the Beu means with folding strips, after which welding strips are then attached to this bottom flap Longitudinal welding of the floor can be brought up.
When the longitudinal sides are folded in, triangular end tabs are automatically formed. This bag production assumes that the bag tube is provided with an inner layer in the form of an order or a film made of heat-sealable material. There is the disadvantage of this manufacturing method that the soil is formed in complicated devices in several stages.
The method according to the present invention consists in the fact that, following the sealing of the bottom seam when the hose is still flat, the bottom is formed by fully spreading the hose for the purpose of inevitably pulling the bottom into the block bottom shape with protruding triangular end flaps, which is then followed by the downward movement straightened and welded end tabs are folded against the bottom surface and then a bottom sheet is applied.
The device for carrying out the method according to the invention, which is also the subject of the present invention, is characterized in that a large number of bag-tube expanding flaps at intervals corresponding to the mutual distance between the work stations for the various production stages are attached to an endless, primarily paragraph-wise driven conveyor , are arranged that furthermore in the area of the work places for the hose expansion and bottom folding until the ready-made bags are dropped, a control path that works together with switching levers of the hose expansion flaps,
as well as guides for straightening and folding the triangular bottom end tabs and a guide plate that is specific to the bottom of the bag to lie on are provided in front of the work station for the last management stage, and that at the work station for the last production stage for applying one of .einem Paper tape abge separated bottom sheet moves up and down according to the cycle of the expanding hose expansion flaps being driven up and down.
With such a device completely sealed bags at the bottom can be produced at considerable working speeds, the device can be designed so that it either the open finished bag can be removed or with the interposition of a device for laying flat also shipping bags, which in flat horizontal stacks are delivered to consumers. When removing open bags, this device can be directly connected to a filling machine for filling and closing the filled bags.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention for performing the method according to the invention, which is explained below, for example. It shows: FIG. 1 a diagrammatic representation of the first production stages, FIG. 2 a diagram of a bag after the bottom formation in something enlarged representation, FIG. 3 bottom view of a completely closed floor in a reduced representation, FIG. 4 a schematic overall representation of the device.
FIGS. 4a and 5 show details of FIG. 4, FIG. 6 shows a partial view of FIG. 4 in an enlarged representation, FIG. 7 shows a cross section 1-I of FIG. 6, FIGS. 8 to 10 show further details.
For the production of the bags, paper coated on one side with a heat-sealable material or provided with a corresponding film layer is used. A tube is first formed from this paper in a manner known per se and not shown, in which the heat-sealable layer side 1 is located in the interior of the tube. According to FIG. 1, this hose is welded at 3 and 4 on both longitudinal edges. There is also the possibility of providing a hose weld seam only on one longitudinal edge.
Such a hose is wound onto a hose reel and fed from this reel to the work stations.
In the first production stage, the hose is inevitably guided over an expanding mandrel 5 loosely inserted into it, which spreads the hose slightly so that when the hose is further advanced, it can be spread over expansion plates 7 (bag-hose expansion flaps), which is within the Extend the hose down to the later bottom edge 8-8. The lower bottom edge or bottom strip 9 is then clamped between heated welding jaws, so that a continuous bottom weld seam 9 results.
Immediately below this welding jaw, the hose is then separated with a cutting device (FIG. 1).
The two expansion plates 6 and 7 are then spread apart, namely into the later usage form of the bag 10. The bottom 11 of the bag 10 with the central weld seam is inevitably drawn upwards, with the triangular protruding more or less obliquely downward End tabs 12 are formed, that is, the bottom 11 rests directly at the level of the lower edges of the two spreading plates 6 and 7 drawn apart at right angles to the bag body 10.
In a further operation, the triangular end tabs 12, as the dash-dot-oriented positions in Fig. 2 show, are directed straight down and welded into itself.
In the next production stage, the triangular end tabs 12 are placed on the sheet below and set in this position with a bottom sheet 13 (Fig. 3).
The manufacturing process described above can best be carried out with a device in which the two expansion plates 6 and 7 are suspended together with their actuators on guide strips, which are indicated in FIG. 4 by the dashed line 14. From an axis of rotation 15, the expansion plates 6 and 7 can be actuated, that is, are spread apart, and this axis of rotation 15 is actuated with a lever 16 be. On the guide strips 14 a lot of number of such expanding plates 6 and 7 is arranged in certain th intervals.
Thus, according to the exemplary embodiment, eight expansion plates 6 and 7 can be distributed over the guideway, with these expansion plates being moved in the direction of arrows 17 on their suspension elements with an endless belt or an endless drive chain. This drive chain 15a coincides with the guide strips 14 in the schematic drawing and is guided over sprockets 18. The expansion plates 6 and 7 with their switching axis 15 are attached so that they hang vertically down over the entire th course of the chain guides.
At work station I, that is, in the first production stage, the bottom of the bags is welded. This operation is carried out as follows.
The bag tube S is wound on a roll 19 and passes through a guide roller 20 between two transport rollers 21, which are inevitably driven and the tube S via a loosely inserted in this and freely floating due to its own weight over the transport rollers 21 ge held expanding mandrel 5 after Push it up until it is pushed forward at the correct height over the two spreading plates 6: 7 that are still lying together. With the pressure roller 23, which is attached to a spring 22, the hose is held on the expansion plates 6 and 7.
Two heating jaws 24i25 are provided on the two flat outer edges of the hose at a certain distance, which is sufficient for the subsequent soil formation. These can - as FIG. 4a shows - be slidably attached within a guide body 26 with a piston 27. A spring 29 is inserted between a pressure disk 28 on the piston 27 and a closure piece 30 of the housing 26. The piston rods protrude beyond the guide piece 30 and, in cooperation with the springs 29 with cam disks 31i32, can be moved back and forth in such a way that the bag edge is pressed in between the two heating jaws 24, 125.
At the moment of pressing in, heating takes place, with the bag being continuously welded at the lower end.
Below these welding jaws there is a pair of knives 33; 34, with which the bag is cut off immediately when it is pressed and welded, so that a bag welded to the bottom now hangs on the expansion plates that are still closed. The knives 33% 34 can optionally be placed directly on the welding jaws 24.25.
Above the guides 14 and pull chains 15 there is a control bar 35 for the switching levers 16 of the switching axes 15, which - as mentioned above, actuate the bag spreading plates 6 and 7.
The drive, i.e. the forward movement of the expansion plates, is designed in such a way that there is a brief standstill at each work station, i.e. also in station I, and then at the same time in the later stations that will now be described the expansion plates 67 remain at this time until the further transport takes place. During the forward movement of the expansion plates 67 after the bottom welding and separation of the bag tube in the direction of the arrow 17, the switching lever 16 comes under the control strip 35.
As a result, the lever 16 is rotated downwards in the direction of the arrow, with the bag spreading flaps 6 "7 spreading out from one another (cf. job 1I). During this spreading process of the bag, the continuously welded bottom 11 of the bag 10 is inevitably replaced according to the method described above traced at the top with triangular end tabs 12 protruding more or less obliquely downward.
As the expansion plates 6 and 7 move further, the triangular end tabs 12 on guide plates 36 are directed straight downwards, so that these end tabs 12 assume an exactly vertical position downwards in production stage 11. In this production stage II, the triangular end tabs 12 are welded to a device attached here, which is shown in FIG.
Here the bag bottom 11 slides over a counterpressure body 37 adjoining the end tabs 12 on the inside. With pressure pistons 38 39 attached to both sides and heated at the ends, the triangular end tabs are then attached to the counterpressure body 37 pressed on, where the inner heat-sealable layers of the end tabs 12 are welded into themselves.
This welding also takes place at a standstill, while at the same time in the preceding production stage I the bag edge of the next bag is welded and cut off from the tube. If necessary, the counterpressure body 37 can also be heated on the surfaces adjoining the end tabs 12 and the pressure pistons 38; 39 left unheated or both parts 37 and 38; 39 can be heated.
The spreading devices 6,7 are now moved further after this standstill up to production stage 11I. On the way up to this production stage, the triangular end tabs are folded up to the bottom of the bag with folding devices 40, with a guide plate 41 interposed, which rests directly on the bottom of the bag 11.
Below this manufacturing stage III, a paper strip 43 with the transport rollers 44 is inevitably withdrawn from a roller 42 and pulled forward below the bag bottom 11 in a size adapted to the bag bottom. Underneath is a pressure plate 45 which is mounted on a piston 46 within guides 47 and which can be moved upward with a cam 48. A cutting knife 49, which works with a stationary knife 49, is seated on the pressure plate 45.
When pushing up the pressure plate 45 is simultaneously cut with the cutting blades 49 of the strip in the desired length and pressed against the bottom of the bag with the pressure plate 45, where it is useful to fen this Strei to form the bottom sheet 13 on the side facing the bag with a Plastic application or the like, which has an adhesive effect when heated. If necessary, it is also possible to provide an adhesive application device before the bottom sheet 13 is pressed on.
This floor bonding is also carried out in production stage III - as described above = when the bag tube spreading device 6 7 is at a standstill.
In the continuation of the expansion plates 6; 7, the switching lever 16 is released by the control bar 35 after leaving the work station III, the bag expansion flaps 6/7 are pushed together, and the finished bag 10 then falls down on a slide while still open . In the other drawn positions of the bag spreading flaps lying together, no work is carried out until the spreading flaps 6, '7 get into production stage I, the above-described operations being repeated.
The various Arbeitseinrichtun conditions in the production stages are driven by a motor 51, for example. This motor 51 drives via a drive belt 52 a ratchet wheel 54, which is only partially toothed on the circumference at 53, via the drive pulley 55. With the partial toothing 53, the drive chain 56 is set in motion at certain intervals. This endless chain 56 is placed at the bottom over the sprocket 57 and at the top over the sprocket 18, from where the conveyor chain 15a for the spreading devices 6/7 is set in motion intermittently. From the drive pulley 55, the drive for the cam 31 via a chain wheel 58 is removed via an endless chain 57. From the drive wheel 58, the drive is passed on to the drive wheel 60 of the cam 32 via a drive chain 59.
The knives 33134 can be moved forward together with the welding jaws 24; 25, or if necessary a separate drive is to be provided for these knives 33l34. From a traction sheave of the same size behind the traction sheave 55, the drive is passed on via an endless chain 61 to a traction sheave 62, which also sets a wheel 64, partially toothed at 63, in rotation to advance the endless drive chain 65 in steps.
This endless drive chain 65 is placed around the sprockets 66, .. '67 and is with the partial toothing 63 - as well as the drive chain 56 moved forward intermittently. With 68; "69 abutment bearings for the chains 56 and 65 are designated in order to prevent the chains from dodging when the partial teeth 53 and 63 engage. From the chain wheel 67, the toothed wheel 71 is driven via a toothed wheel 70, that the paper transport rollers 21 set in motion.
In the work cycle determined by the main drive, an endless chain 72 placed over the drive pulley 62 sets a drive pulley 73 in rotation, which is coupled to a drive pulley 75 which also has a partial toothing 74. The partial toothing 74 ver sets a drive chain 76, which is placed over the sprockets 77,78, in an intermittent movement. From the sprocket 78 the transport rollers 44 for the bottom sheets 13 are set in Dre hung via gear wheels 79,180. In addition, the cam disk 48 is rotated intermittently by the drive pulley 75.
The drive for the heating device shown in Fig. 5 is also removed intermittently from a suitable point of these drive devices so that the pistons 38 and 39 are moved forward in each case at standstill (not shown in the drawing).
It has proven to be advantageous to provide adjustable shift teeth that can be inserted separately in each of the indexing wheels 54, 64th, 75th.
For this purpose the ratchet wheels can be designed according to FIGS. 8 to 10. A drive wheel 81 is firmly placed on a shaft 82, and a further disk 83 can be lifted off from the drive wheel 81 and can be adjusted in the circumferential direction and is placed on the collar 81a. The teeth 86 shown in FIG. 9 are inserted in a circular recess 84 of the drive wheel 81 and in corresponding recesses 85 of the disk 83, namely the projections 86a of the teeth engage in the recess 84 and the projections 86b in the recesses 85 Any number of teeth 86 can now be inserted into the disks 83 with the corresponding rotation of the same relative to the wheel 81 at the desired tooth spacings.
6 and 7 show the type of suspension of the expansion plates 67. Two guide strips 14a / 14b are provided, between which a guide jaw 87 is guided on both longitudinal sides with rollers. At both ends of these guide jaws 87 there are sliding slots 88, '89, and the guide jaws 87 are penetrated by the shift rod 15 in the middle. In the sliding slots 88! 89, the parts 6a, 7a of the expansion plates angled upwards outwards are attached to guide pieces 9091, e.g. B. screwed or otherwise attached to this interchangeable.
In order to obtain precise guidance of the expansion plates, the guide bodies 90 91 are attached to both ends of rods 9293 and thus slide in the guides 88 89 of the two guide jaws 87, which are spaced apart from one another slide in the guide strips 14a : 14b. The suspension and switching devices of the expansion plates 6, '7 can swing freely downwards around the two ends of the switching axis 15, and it is advantageous to have the transport chains 15a' 15b at the two ends of the switching axis 15 to apply.
In the middle of the switching axis 15, the switching lever 16 with the guide roller 94 is firmly attached. A short shift rod 95; 96 at 97 and 98 is hinged to the shift lever 16 above and below the shift axis 15. The lower ends of the shift rods 95, 96 are hinged at 99; 100 to the sliding pieces 90191. When the switching lever 16 is turned in the direction of the arrow, the sliding pieces 90, 91, with the spreading plates 6a; '6 and 7a # 7 attached to them are moved outwards, so that they move out of the pushed together position shown on the left into the spread position shown on the right can be offset.
Instead of throwing off an opened bag 10 following the last production stage 111, the guide tracks 14a, 14b can be lengthened to create a production stage IV, not shown. In this production stage IV, a device for laying the bag flat can be switched on. This can be designed, for example, in such a way that opposite a guide roller or slide an angled claw about the width of the flat bag tube is rotatably arranged for insertion with its angled end on the bending edge of the base, and press rollers lie below this one direction.
With scissor links inside the bag spreading flaps 6,3 , the bags can be pulled apart when the bag spreading flaps are pushed together into the flat position, the bags then being removed from the machine completely flat with the bottom open.
The finished bag shown in Fig. 4 can be used in a filling machine by hand, or you can automatically feed the opened bag to a filling machine or a Füllinrich device can be built into the present device for Her make the bag.
