Locking device for side and rear loading on commercial vehicle bridges The present invention relates to a locking device for side and rear loading on commercial vehicle bridges with corner supports.
Until now, separate locks were necessary in order to be able to individually lock or unlock the side and rear drawers converging in a corner support. In contrast, the locking device according to the invention is characterized in that a single locking element is present on a corner support, which is set up to lock both the side drawer and the rear drawer and optionally enables the side drawer or the rear drawer to be unlocked alone.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the invention is shown.
It shows: Fig. 1 a locking device for the rear load and the left side shutter of a utility vehicle seen in the direction of travel, partly in a view from behind and partly in vertical section, Fig. 2 is a side view of the same device, at right angles Viewed in the direction of travel, FIG. 3 shows a section along line AA in FIG. 1, and FIG. 4 shows a section along line BB in FIG. 2.
The illustrated locking device has a locking housing labeled 10 , the lower part of which has a U-shaped cross-section as a corner support 11 for a left sideload 12 and a rear drawer 13 A vehicle bridge is formed. In a recess, which is open towards the rear, at the upper end of the lock housing 10 there is a horizontally running pivot pin which is fastened laterally to the upper left corner of the rear drawer in a manner not shown in detail 15 rotatably mounted, which serves as an anchoring element for the rear loader.
A cylindrical indentation 16 above the recess 14 in the head part of the housing 10 and a vertical bore 17 in the housing 10 </ B> are arranged coaxially to one another. In the bore 17 there is a cylindrical bolt 18 serving as a locking member, whose upper end part has an indentation 19 .
The flat bottom 19a of the indentation 19 is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bolt 18 and lies in a perpendicular tangential plane of the pivot pin 15. at its lower end section the bolt 18 has a further indentation 20 facing the reload 13 , the flat bottom 20a of which is likewise parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bolt 18, but perpendicular to the bottom 19a of the indentation 19 and thus parallel to the side load 12. On its side opposite the indentation 19 , the bolt 18 has a longitudinal groove 21 of rectangular cross-section in its central part. A cylindrical transverse bore 22 in the bolt 18 opens in the middle of the longitudinal groove 21, the diameter of the bore 22 and the width of the longitudinal groove 21 being selected to be the same size.
In the transverse bore 22 there is a ball 23 which is rigidly connected to a bushing 25 by means of a short neck piece 24. The sleeve 25 , which is inserted through a lateral opening in the housing 10 , is seated on a shaft 27 and is by means of a toothing 26 rotatably connected to the same, so that when the shaft 27 is rotated, the ball 23 is pivoted in a circular path that is concentric to the shaft. The shaft 27 in turn is rotatably mounted in a bore 28 of a housing bulge 29 .
The shaft 27 is secured against axial displacement by a cylindrical pin 30 (FIG. 2), which extends the housing at right angles to the shaft 27 10 and engages in an annular groove 31 of the shaft 27 . The end of the shaft 27 protruding from the housing 10 carries a head 32 of a handle-like actuating lever 33 and is - connected to the head 32 , for example by welding - , so that the shaft 27 and the lever 33 are in rotary connection with one another. Parallel to the shaft 27 , the lever head 32 has a blind hole 34 which is open against the wall of the housing 10 and which has a ball 35 </ B> harbors.
A compression spring 36 is inserted between the ball 35 and the bottom of the blind hole 34, which the ball 35 against a locking notch 37 </ B> presses the housing wall, which can have further such notches for the purposes described later. The sideload 12 has at its upper, rear corner as an anchoring element a tongue 39 which is angled twice and which, when the sideload is set up, penetrates into the cavity of the shaped corner support 11 and against it the rear wall of the U-profile is in contact.
The thickness of the tongue 39 is such that it fills the gap between the rear wall of the U-profile and the surface 20a of the indentation 20 of the bolt 18. The tongue is, for example, attached to the sideload 12 with screws 40 and 41.
FIGS. 1 to 4 show the bolt 18 in the main closed position. The actuating lever 33 is perpendicular and is against unintentional adjustment by the The spring 36 is secured in the notch 37 of the ball 35 . The adjusting finger consisting of the neck piece 24 and the ball 23 runs horizontally and the latch 18 is in a central position.
The tongue 39 of the side shutter 12 is located in the indentation 20 of the lower end of the bolt, whereby the side shutter 12 is locked to the corner support and - since the bolt 18 </ B> protrudes into the path of movement of the tongue 39 - cannot be folded down. With its upper end, the bolt 18 protrudes far enough into the recess 14 in the head part of the housing 10 and thus into the movement path of the pivot pin 13, </ B > To secure it against sliding out of the recess. The reload 13 can probably perform a folding movement around the axis of the pivot 15 , but is firmly locked with the corner support.
For example, it can be tilted backwards in the usual way, in that the folding movement of the reloading enables the cargo to be poured out.
From the position shown, the actuating lever 33 can be pivoted clockwise as well as counterclockwise into two side positions, whereby the ball 35. Pressed by the spring 36 cooperates The lever 33 is also secured in the side positions with notches arranged accordingly on the housing 10 . If the back load 13 is to be removed or folded down at all, its anchoring on the corner support 11 can be achieved by turning the actuating lever 33 in Can be released clockwise.
This rotation causes the adjusting finger consisting of the neck piece 24 and the ball 23 to pivot downwards, whereby the latch 18 is also shifted downwards by a corresponding amount into a first secondary locking position becomes. The upper end of the bolt withdraws from the path of movement of the pivot pin 15 into the bore 17 of the housing 10 and gives the recess 14 fully free, so that the pivot pin 15 can be removed backwards unhindered from the lock housing 10 when the rear loader is lifted off.
The indentation 20 at the lower end of the bolt is long enough to allow the bolt 18 to be shifted downward without it hitting the tongue 38 of the sideload 12 before the Recess 14 is completely free. The longitudinal groove 21 prevents the bolt 18 from jamming with the bushing 25 when the bolt 18 is in the drill hole 17 </ B> CD is moved.
If the back load 13 is to be anchored again with the corner support 11 , the actuating lever 33 must be swiveled counterclockwise into the center position shown and thereby the bolt 18 can be shifted upwards into its main closed position until the upper bolt end blocks the recess 14 sufficiently and, penetrating the movement path of the pivot pin 15 , it in the recess 14 holds.
The side shutter 12 is released by operating the same lever 33 by pivoting it counterclockwise from the vertical position shown. The movement in the same direction of the shaft 27 of the bushing 25 and of the adjusting finger consisting of the neck piece 24 and the ball 23 moves the latch 18 from the main closed position up into a second secondary closed position, in which the lower end of the bolt is lifted over the tongue 39 and thereby the path of movement of the tongue 39 and thus the pages load 12 releases.
The upper end of the bolt protrudes into the recess 16 in the head of the housing 10 . The indentation 19 is also long enough to enable the bolt 18 to be moved upwards without it jamming on the pivot pin 15 would. Analogously, the opened sideload 12 can be anchored with the corner support 11 by pivoting the actuating lever 33 back into the vertical position and thereby the bolt 18 the device is brought into the main locking position shown.
The relocation of the locking element 18 from the main locking position into the two secondary locking positions allows the optional unlocking and opening of the side drawer or the rear drawer.
It goes without saying that the device can not only be used with side and rear loads of different heights. In principle, it can be used consistently for the closure of all types of shops on vehicle bridges, with significant advantages in terms of acquisition costs, durability, correct function and simplified handling.
