Description

Letter card The object of the present invention is a letter card which is characterized in that it comprises two juxtaposed sheets, one of which is made of thin cardboard, the edges of said sheets being fixed to each other, and the free part. of the thin cardboard sheet being cut into a puzzle and presenting a face which lends itself to receive a manual drawing.

The buyer, who is at the same time the sender, can therefore write on one side elements of the puzzle that have not yet been dismantled, then dismantle these parts, put them in an envelope and send them to the recipient who will be obliged to reassemble. the puzzle to be able to read the text written by the sender.

The appended drawing represents, to by way of example, an embodiment of the letter card which is the subject of the invention.

Figs. 1 and 2 are front and rear views.

The letter card shown in Figs. 1 and 2 com takes a sheet of thin cardboard having a peripheral part 1 forming a frame and a remaining part 2 cut into a puzzle, the elements of the puzzle being connected to each other and to the frame because the cutting lines have small breaks. The letter card also includes a sheet of carbon paper 3 stuck on the frame 1 of the aforementioned sheet. The active layer of the sheet 3 is turned against the posterior face of the cardboard sheet.

This posterior face is smooth and left blank and therefore lends itself to receiving a manual tracing. The sender can therefore transcribe a text on the reverse side of the elements of the puzzle, as illustrated to in fig. 2. The front face of the puzzle has an image (fig. 1) which could be a promotional image for a product.

In a variant not shown, the sheet 3 could be simple paper and a carbon paper would be interposed between it and the part 2, arranged as a puzzle, of the sheet of thin cardboard.

In a second variant, a sheet of paper or of translucent sheet material is glued by its edge on the part 1, forming a frame, of the sheet of thin cardboard. Part 2, cut out, in a puzzle, has a smooth anterior face which is left blank and which lends itself to directly receiving a manual drawing. The reverse side of this cardboard sheet may be printed with any image.

Finally, one could imagine another variant in which the two sides of part 2 of the cardboard sheet would be left blank. The anterior face would lend itself to directly receive a manual trace and the posterior face would receive a manual trace by transcription as the embodiment described first or as the first variation.
