Description

  

      Handlachstrickapparat    mit     zweiteiligem    Nadelbett    Die Erfindung betrifft einen     Handflachstrick-          apparat    mit mindestens einem aus zwei Teilen be  stehenden Nadelbett, welche Teile in der Arbeits  stellung des Apparates aneinander anschliessend mit  einander in Flucht liegen. Bei bekannten Apparaten  dieser Art sind die beiden Teile des Nadelbettes  durch ein Scharnier miteinander verbunden. Bei  Nichtgebrauch des Apparates wird das Nadelbett  zusammengeklappt, damit der ganze Apparat keine  allzu lange Schachtel zu seiner Aufbewahrung benö  tigt. In der Arbeitsstellung wird das Nadelbett auf  geklappt und auf den Arbeitstisch gelegt.

   Diese be  kannten Apparate haben den Nachteil, dass das  Scharnier ein gewisses Spiel aufweist, das im Lauf  der     Zeit    immer grösser wird. Infolgedessen sind die  beiden     Nadelbett-Teile    in der Arbeitsstellung nicht  genügend starr miteinander verbunden. Dieser Nach  teil soll beim Apparat nach der Erfindung dadurch  behoben werden, dass an den beiden Teilen des  Nadelbettes mit     Passflächen    versehene Kupplungs  organe vorgesehen sind, die mittels mindestens einer       Schraubenverbindung    aufeinander festgezogen wer  den können.  



  In der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist ein Ausfüh  rungsbeispiel des     Handflachstrickapparates    nach der  Erfindung so weit dargestellt, als dies zum Verständ  nis der Erfindung nötig ist. Es ist:       Fig.    1 ein Längsschnitt durch den Apparat in  der Nähe der Stelle, an welcher die beiden Teile  des Nadelbettes     aufeinanderstossen,    und       Fig.    2 eine     Untenansicht    der in     Fig.    1 gezeigten  Kupplungsorgane.  



  Nach     Fig.    1 besteht das Nadelbett des Hand  ilachstrickapparates aus den zwei Teilen 1 und 2.  Die Nuten, in welchen die nicht dargestellten Na  deln durch das Schloss in bekannter Weise hin und  her verschoben werden, sind mit 3 bezeichnet. Die    Grundplatte, auf welcher das Nadelbett 1, 2 mittels  nicht dargestellter Schrauben befestigt ist, besteht       ebenfalls    aus zwei Teilen 4 und 5. Die Kupplungs  organe weisen zwei zueinander symmetrische Winkel  stücke 6 und 7 auf. Ein Schenkel 9 bzw. 10 jedes  Winkelstückes ist am entsprechenden Teil 4 bzw. 5  der Grundplatte befestigt. Die freien Schenkel 11,  12 der Winkelstücke sind an ihren Enden mit     Pass-          flächen    13, 14 versehen, welche senkrecht zur Längs  richtung des Nadelbettes stehen.

   Die     Nadelbett-Teile     1, 2, sind stirnseitig ebenfalls mit solchen     Pass-          flächen    15, 16 versehen. Ein Gewindebolzen 17 ist  in eine Gewindebohrung 18 des Schenkels 11 des  Winkelstückes 6 eingeschraubt und geht durch eine  glatte Bohrung 19 des Schenkels 12 des Winkel  stückes 7 hindurch. Mittels einer     Rändelmutter    20  werden die beiden Winkelstücke aufeinander fest  gezogen, so dass die     Passilächen    13 und 14 sowie 15  und 16     aufeinanderliegen.    Die beiden     Nadelbett-          Teile    1 und 2 sind dann in der Arbeitsstellung  ausserordentlich starr aneinander befestigt.

   In     Fig.    2  sind noch zwei     Passbolzen    21 und 22 angedeutet, die  je mit einem Ende fest im freien Schenkel 11 des  Winkelstückes 6 sitzen und ohne Spiel durch ent  sprechende Bohrungen des freien Schenkels 12 des  Winkelstückes 7     hindurchragen.    Durch diese Bolzen  wird die Starrheit der Verbindung noch erhöht.  



  Als Variante könnte man die Kupplungsstücke  auch so ausbilden, dass das eine einen mit einer       Passfläche    versehenen Vorsprung und das andere  eine mit einer     Passiläche    versehene Vertiefung auf  weist, so dass der Vorsprung in die Vertiefung ein  greift. Dabei können die     Passflächen    ebenfalls senk  recht zur Längsrichtung des Nadelbettes stehen oder  die Flanken des Vorsprunges bzw. der Vertiefung  können als zu dieser Längsrichtung geneigte     Pass-          flächen        ausgebildet    sein. Die Kupplungsorgane      könnten prinzipiell auch mit den entsprechenden       Nadelbett-Teilen    zu einem Stück vereinigt sein.  



  Falls der     Handflachstrickapparat    mit einem  zusätzlichen Nadelbett versehen ist, das z. B. leicht  lösbar am üblichen, horizontalen Nadelbett unter  einem Winkel von etwa 90  befestigt sein kann, so  ist auch dieses zweite Nadelbett unterteilt, wobei  dessen Teile auf dieselbe Weise miteinander     befestig-          bar    sind wie die Teile des ersten Nadelbettes.

In known apparatus of this type, the two parts of the needle bed are connected to one another by a hinge.    These known devices have the disadvantage that the hinge has a certain amount of play that increases over time. As a result, the two needle bed parts are not sufficiently rigidly connected to one another in the working position. This after part is to be remedied in the apparatus according to the invention in that coupling organs provided with fitting surfaces are provided on the two parts of the needle bed and which can be tightened to one another by means of at least one screw connection.



  In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the hand flat knitting apparatus according to the invention is shown as far as this is necessary to understand the invention.   According to Fig. 1, the needle bed of the hand ilachstrickapparates consists of the two parts 1 and 2. The grooves in which the nails, not shown, are moved back and forth by the lock in a known manner, are denoted by 3. The base plate on which the needle bed 1, 2 is attached by means of screws, not shown, also consists of two parts 4 and 5. The coupling organs have two mutually symmetrical angle pieces 6 and 7. A leg 9 or 10 of each elbow is attached to the corresponding part 4 or 5 of the base plate. The free legs 11, 12 of the angle pieces are provided at their ends with fitting surfaces 13, 14 which are perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the needle bed.

   The needle bed parts 1, 2 are also provided with such fitting surfaces 15, 16 on the front side. A threaded bolt 17 is screwed into a threaded hole 18 of the leg 11 of the angle piece 6 and goes through a smooth bore 19 of the leg 12 of the angle piece 7 through. By means of a knurled nut 20, the two angle pieces are tightened on one another, so that the fitting surfaces 13 and 14 as well as 15 and 16 lie on one another. The two needle bed parts 1 and 2 are then extremely rigidly attached to one another in the working position.

   In Fig. 2 two dowel pins 21 and 22 are indicated, each of which is firmly seated with one end in the free leg 11 of the elbow 6 and protrudes through corresponding holes in the free leg 12 of the elbow 7 without play. These bolts increase the rigidity of the connection.



  As a variant, the coupling pieces could also be designed so that one has a projection provided with a fitting surface and the other has a recess provided with a fitting surface, so that the projection engages in the recess. The mating surfaces can also be perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the needle bed or the flanks of the projection or the recess can be designed as mating surfaces inclined to this longitudinal direction. In principle, the coupling elements could also be combined into one piece with the corresponding needle bed parts.



  If the manual flat knitting apparatus is provided with an additional needle bed, the z. B. can be easily detachably attached to the usual, horizontal needle bed at an angle of about 90, this second needle bed is also divided, the parts of which can be fastened to one another in the same way as the parts of the first needle bed.
