Circular saw blade The invention relates to a circular saw blade with toothed segments set on a disk, the so-called master blade.
In the inventive circular saw blade is to connect the main blade with the tooth segments on the circumference of the main blade and on the inner part of each toothed segment is each formed a holding web of less thickness than the thickness of the master blade or toothed segment, and the side of the holding web is on the part in question Recess provided in which the retaining web of the other part engages, with the one hand the stem sheet overlaps the end surfaces of the holding webs of the tooth segments and on the other hand each tooth segment overlaps the outer circumferential surface of the holding web of the master sheet, such that the free ends of the holding webs of the one part is held in the material of the other part and cannot deform.
The invention is explained with reference to the accompanying drawings: Fig. 1, 2 and 3 each show a radial section through the outer part of a circular saw blade be known construction.
4 is a view of a detail from a saw blade used for metal processing according to an exemplary embodiment of the saw blade according to the invention.
FIG. 5 is a section on line V-V of FIG. 4.
According to the known embodiment according to FIG. 1, the central master blade 1 is provided with a central circumferential web 2, which engages in a corresponding slot of the attached toothed segments 3, the two webs 4 of the segments with the web 2 of the master sheet by rivets 5 with connected to each other. According to Fig. 2, the master sheet 1 is provided with a mitt sized circumferential groove 6, in which a central web 7 of the toothed segments 3 engages, in turn the webs 4 of the master sheet are riveted by means of a rivet 5 to the central web 7 of the segments.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, which is also known, the master blade 1 is machined along its circumference over a certain radial distance to half of its thickness, so that a radial web 8 is formed. The segments 3 are worked off in the same way along their inner circumference also up to half their thickness in order to form a web 9. The two joined webs are fastened to one another by means of rivets 5.
The disadvantages of the connection by means of a central groove and web according to FIGS. 1 and 2 are that it is almost impossible to manufacture the toothed segments 3 with such great accuracy that the segments are interchangeable, and that their dimensions are within such small tolerances that are necessary to guarantee proper working of the saw blade after replacing a segment without reworking the segments on the plan.
A further disadvantage with all connections by means of webs according to FIGS. 1 to 3 is that, particularly in the case of smaller saw blades with thin webs, they warp or deform when riveted on. In the type of connection according to FIG. 3, the strength of the connection is also not sufficiently great.
The purpose of the embodiment is to bypass these parts and to achieve a connection of significantly higher strength between the master blade and toothed segments, while at the same time preventing deformation of the segment webs when riveting. In this training of the master blade and tooth segments, the interchangeability of the segments is much more likely.
According to FIGS. 4 and 5, a number of toothed segments 3 are placed on the master blade 1. The trunk sheet 1 has along its circumference a in the radial direction in the plane of the saw blade he stretching holding web 10, the thickness of which is approximately half the thickness of the master sheet. By working off the master sheet to produce the web 10, a recess has been formed in the master sheet on the side of this web. In this recess is a holding web 11, which was formed on the inner part of each tooth segment 3 in the same way as the web 10.
The outer circumferential surface 12 of the web 10 of the master blade and the inner circumferential surfaces (end surfaces 13) of the webs 11 of the toothed segments 3 are conical surfaces coaxial with the master sheet with tips on the same side of the master sheet. The opening angle of these surfaces is about 60. Of course, the surfaces of the other part that come into contact with said end surfaces are also conical surfaces of this type.
As a result, the material of the master blade 1 engages over the end surfaces 13 of the webs 11 of the tooth segments, and the material of the tooth segments engages over the outer circumferential surface 12 of the web 10 of the master sheet. The ends of the webs of one part are therefore held rigidly in the material of the other part and cannot deform or pull outwards when riveting the segments. The attachment of the segments to the stem sheet is done by the rivets 14 in the usual way.
The individual segments 3 are connected to one another on their abutting radial side surfaces in a known manner by means of pins 15 which are inserted into radial grooves in the side surfaces and secured against falling out by means of a bent end that engages in a hole 16 of one segment.
The master blade and the tooth segments of the circular saw blade according to FIGS. 4 and 5 can be produced in a simple manner and economically with great accuracy, whereby the required interchangeability of the segments is guaranteed much sooner than in known designs. Another advantage of the connection of tooth segments with the master blade according to FIGS. 4 and 5 is that the rivet head can be made larger than in the known embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 2, whereby the connection is stronger.
With small saw blades of the known versions, the thickness of the webs 4 can only be about 1 mm, so that the thickness of the rivet head is reduced to i / 2 mm, which no longer ensures a secure connection between the toothed segment and the master blade. In the connection according to FIGS. 4 and 5, all other things being equal, the thickness of the webs 10 and 11 is greater, and the heads of the rivets 14 can be made stronger so that they meet the stresses occurring border.
