Description

Central heating sectional boiler The aim of the invention is to create a central heating sectional boiler of relatively high performance and good efficiency, the main components of which are usable in both coke and oil firing.

For this purpose, the boiler according to the invention is characterized by boiler sections that surround the furnace like a frame, with two vertical heating gas flues being formed between the water spaces of two adjacent boiler sections by means of ribs provided on the latter, through which the heating gases pass through the heating surfaces of the upper transverse channels of these water spaces are supplied, and ribs are provided on these transverse channels in order to effect a more even distribution of the heating gases on these heating surfaces before the heating gases ge long into horizontal Heizgassammelabzüge.

In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically. It is: FIG. 1 a cross section of the boiler between two middle members of the same, according to the line 1-I of FIG. 2, FIG. 2 a section along the line II-II of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 a section along the Line III-III of Fig. 1.

The central heating boiler has, in a manner known per se, a plurality of middle boiler sections 1 which are arranged between a front and a rear end element, which end elements are not shown in the drawing and have the usual connection pieces and the like. The middle boiler members 1 surround the fire chamber 2 like a frame and each have a self-contained, the fire chamber so also frame-like surrounding water space, which has a lower transverse channel, an upper transverse channel 4 and two vertical longitudinal channels 5 and 6, which with the Cross channels are in communication.

The water space is indicated in the figures by horizontal dashed lines. The boiler sections 1 have projections and ribs in front, the projections and ribs of adjacent boiler sections abutting one another (see FIG. 2). The projections 7 located at the top of the lower transverse channel 3 together form a grate. Vertical ribs 8 and 9 delimit two vertical heating gas flues 10 which are connected through openings 11 with a central height zone of the furnace 2.

Further ribs 12, 13 and 14, which are provided on the upper transverse channel 4, delimit two pairs of trains 15 and 16 through which the heating gases flowing in the sense of the arrows shown in FIG. 1 pass into two horizontal heating gas collecting trains 17 which in the rear (not shown) terminating link to be combined to form an exhaust port.

The outer trains 15 are narrower than the inner trains 16 and tapered on the input side ver; The length of the ribs 12 and 13 is dimensioned so that a large part of the heating gases sweeps the wide Heizflä surfaces of the upper transverse channels 4 in a sufficiently large arc, which causes a more even distribution of the heating gases on these heating surfaces. The width bi of the upper transverse channel 4 is a multiple of the width bz of the lower transverse channel 3 or the width b3 of the vertical longitudinal channels 5, 6. Adjacent boiler sections 1 are connected by three double-conical nipples 18 mitein each other, the corresponding eyes 19 of the links 1 are pressed in.

The water spaces of the boiler sections communicate with one another through the nipples 18. Four anchor irons 20 are also provided, which hold the boiler sections together in addition to the nipple connections. These anchor irons are anchored to the corresponding ears of the front and rear boiler sections by means of threads and nuts (not shown).

The sectional boiler described so far can be equipped with a front boiler section which has a filling opening for coke. In this case, the space 21 serves as an ash space, in which a corresponding ash container can be inserted. The furnace 2 then also serves as a filling shaft for the coke.

You can also equip the sectional boiler with a front section in which an oil burner is mounted and which does not allow hot gas to escape from the ash chamber. The boiler works with both coke and oil firing with a high degree of efficiency. Its performance is great compared to other boilers of approximately the same volume and weight, which can be attributed to the favorable arrangement of the heating gas flues and in particular to the more even distribution of the heating gases over the wide heating surface of the upper transverse channel 4 caused by the ribs 12-14 .

If you want an upper burnup when burning solid fuel instead of a medium burnup, you can shorten the ribs 8 accordingly.
