Description
For roof and wall structures certain device for connecting two side by side, the roof or the wall surfaces forming cover panels The subject of the present invention is a specific for roof and wall structures before direction for connecting two side by side to orderly, the roof or
the wall surfaces form the cover panels, which is characterized in that the two above-mentioned cover panels are provided with inwardly directed, hook-forming folds, and they are assigned a channel-like retaining rail attached to a base, the side legs of which have mutually inclined edge parts over which the hook-forming folds of the cover panels are suspended and which are resiliently secured in their engagement position by means of a cover rail provided with two lateral snap-in legs.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing.
1 and 2 show the device in a perspective view in the disassembled and in the assembled state, and FIG. 3 is a front view of FIG. 2 drawn on a larger scale.
The device shown in FIGS. 1-3 is supposedly intended for roof structures which have sheet metal panels n and b which are arranged next to one another and are connected to one another at their adjacent edge parts. The panels run in the direction of the sloping roof. The adjacent longitudinal edge parts a1 and b1 of these metal sheets are folded inwards to form hook-shaped folds.
A channel-like retaining rail d is attached to a board formwork e of the roof that forms a base, the side legs of which have edge parts dl, d2 which are inclined towards one another and over which the folds cal and b1 of the metal sheets a and b < / I> are suspended, and by means of a cover rail c having two lateral, wave-shaped angled snap-on legs cl, resiliently held in their A grip position, as can be clearly seen from the drawing.
In this case, the snap-in legs cl of the cover rail c grip the hook-forming folds a1 and b1 of the cover panels a and b. In order to facilitate this snap-in process, the snap-in legs cl face the deck rail c obliquely inwardly directed extension parts c2 which, when the deck rail c is placed on the holding rail d, exert a spreading effect on the limbs of the latter and cause the limb edge parts dl to spring in,
d2 and the panel edge parts cal, bi into the corresponding corrugated parts of the snap-in legs cl.
The above statements are also valid for wall constructions whose outer cladding is formed by panels connected to one another at their adjacent ends, which run in the direction of the wall height, so that holding and cover rails run in a vertical direction here. As is also the case with roof structures, the covering material could consist of a suitable plastic instead of sheet metal.
The panels are laid in one piece, the length of which corresponds to the dimension of the roof in the diagonal direction. A dilation of the panels is possible both in the longitudinal and in the transverse direction.
