Doors on vehicles, in particular for railways The invention aims to create a door on vehicles that can be operated both pneumatically and manually by passengers.
There are doors, such as wing or folding doors on vehicles known that can be pneumatically operated from any point. If these are railway vehicles, they have the disadvantage that they can only be inserted into train compositions which are provided with a continuous pneumatic device for actuating the doors.
In known pneumatic doors, the door can be pushed open by hand after the air supply has been interrupted. However, this actuation can only be carried out by qualified personnel, as the air cushion in the pressure piston caused by manual actuation does not allow normal opening.
The present invention is intended to eliminate these disadvantages in that the door is designed to be able to be opened and closed either pneumatically or by hand with the aid of the door handle, depending on the operating requirements.
The door is preferably operated pneumatically with the aid of a drag piston. This drag piston is then held in the middle position of the pressure cylinder by a device, preferably two compression springs of equal size, so that the piston rod can move back and forth in the drag piston when it is operated manually. So that the door cannot be opened while driving, a safety device is expediently provided, which can be put out of action either pneumatically or by hand by means of the door handle.
However, in order to prevent the door from being opened by the handle during pneumatic operation, a second safety device can be seen, which is brought into effect by the compressed air, while this second safety device is ineffective during manual operation.
In order to prevent the safety organs from jamming when the door is opened, a regulating element can be connected upstream of the drag piston, which, when the door is pneumatically operated, causes the safety element to be actuated before the drag piston.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing.
1 is a view of a centrally opening folding door; Figure 2 is a section on line I-1 of Figure 1; Fig. 3 shows the drive mechanism of the door; Fig. 4 is a section on line 11-II of Fig. 3; Fig. 5 is a section through the safety member and Fig. 6 is a section through the regulating member.
The two door halves are marked with 1 and 2 be. 3 shows that door part on which the outer handle 4 and the inner handle 5 and the lock rod 6 are accommodated. The door halves 1 and 2 are connected to the actuation axes 7 and 8. The drive device with the cylinder 9, the first safety element 10 and the second safety element 11 is located above the door.
The lever 12 is firmly seated on the actuation axis 7. This is connected to the double lever 14 by a tie rod 13. The double lever 14 for its part is firmly seated on the actuation axis B. The pull rod 15 connects the piston rod 16 with the double lever 14. The drag piston 17 is guided in the cylinder 9. The driver 18 is attached to one end of the piston rod 16. When the door is operated manually, the piston rod 16 moves freely to and fro in the bore of the drag piston 17. The drag piston 17 is held in the central position of the cylinder 9 by a device, preferably by two compression springs 19 and 20 of the same size.
The cylinder 9 is closed by the two head pieces 21 and 22, the head piece 22 serving as a guide for the piston rod 16 at the same time.
The first safety element 10 (FIG. 4) has a cylinder 23 and a bolt 24 which is rigidly connected to the piston 25. The spring 26 holds the bolt 24 in the locked position so that the door part 3 cannot be opened. Air is admitted through the air duct 39. The lock rod 6, which is connected to the door handles 4 and 5, can disable the bolt 24.
The second safety member 11 (Fig. 5) consists of the cylinder 27, the piston 28 and the Rie gel 29. The spring 30 holds the bolt 29 out of action. The compressed air has access to the two sides of the piston 28 through the two air channels 31 and 32.
In the line 33 is a Re regulating screw 35, as shown in Fig. 6, installed in front of the cylinder 9. The line 34 is also provided with the same regulating element 35 in front of the second safety element 11.
In pneumatic operation, the two Elek troventile 36 and 37 are acted upon via line 38 from the compressed air source. The two electric valves 36 and 37 can, for example, be operated by the driver. When the door is to be opened, the valve 36 opens the entry of the compressed air to the line 33. At the same time, valve 37 opens an outlet opening (not shown) for the air in the line 34 on the closing side.
The air passes under the pistons 25 and 28 of the safety devices 10 and 11 and brings the two bolts 24 and 29 out of action. Delayed by the regulating screw 35, the air passes through the head piece 21 into the cylinder 9 and moves the drag piston 17 with the piston rod 16 against the head piece 22. Via the pull rod 15, the double lever 14 is on the actuating axis 8 in the öff nenden sense emotional.
The closing movement is initiated by actuating the valve 37. At the same time the valve 36 opens an unspecified air outlet of the line 33. The compressed air passes through the line 34 into the cylinder 9 and moves the drag piston 17 against the action of the spring 19 to the driver 18, which is in the middle when the door is open of the cylinder 9 is located. The drag piston 17 then pulls the piston rod 16 with it and initiates the closing movement of the door. The compressed air enters the cylinder 27 of the safety device 11, delayed by the regulating screw 35 of the line 34, and locks the door with the bolt 29.
The bolt 24 is, as a result of the air escaping from the line 33, brought ge by the spring 26 in the operative position before the door is closed. Due to the closing door, however, the bolt 24 is raised again against the action of the spring 26 in order to snap into the operative position after passing the door.
In manual mode, the pipeline network does not have any compressed air. Accordingly, the bolt 29 is out of action. By pressing the handle 4 or 5, the lock rod 6 (Fig. 4) is moved up and unlocks the bolt 24, whereby the door can be opened.
