Pipe screw connection for plastic pipes The invention relates to a pipe screw connection for plastic pipes.
Known pipe fittings of this type be seated a screw body with a conical neck on which the plastic pipe can be plugged, also a union nut which can be screwed onto the screw body, and also a conical clamping insert that can be pressed onto the screw body neck under the action of the nut.
Such screw connections not only have the disadvantage that they are made up of three parts, but also the drawback that these parts have to be very strong because of the stresses that occur, which results in an undesirably large amount of material being used. Another shortcoming is that, since the screw body and nut overlap one another, the dimensions of the screw connection are undesirably large, especially in radial terms. There, where the installation space is not much larger than the hose diameter, such screw connections are therefore not applicable.
According to the invention, the pipe screw connection for plastic pipes is characterized in that it comprises at least one outer sleeve which can be pushed onto the plastic pipe and at least one outer conical inner sleeve which can be pushed into the plastic pipe.
It is advisable to let an annular groove inside the outer sleeve, into which the plastic pipe can be pressed under the action of the inner sleeve. When this sleeve is pressed into its clamping position, the material of the plastic pipe in the area of the annular groove is forced into it. As a result, on the one hand, the seal is improved and, on the other hand, the holding effect is increased. The inner sleeve can be loosely inserted into the outer sleeve. But it is also possible to provide it with a collar that can be screwed into the internal thread of the outer sleeve. This has the advantage that the inner sleeve is always connected to the outer sleeve, so it cannot fall out unnoticed and get lost.
As a further development of the basic concept of the invention, it is possible to use the explained screw connection for connecting two pipes in double design. In this case, a double-conical inner sleeve is used, while the outer sleeve consists of two parts that can be screwed together, each of which can be pushed onto the end of a tube and overlaps the inner sleeve in the area of the associated cone.
The drawing shows three exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a screw connection which consists of the outer sleeve a and the inner sleeve b. As a glance at the drawing shows, the outer sleeve can be kept so small in its outer diameter that it projects only slightly beyond the plastic pipe c to be clamped in the radial direction. The inner sleeve b is tapered on the outside, at least over part of its length.
After the tube c is pushed in the direction of the arrow x into the outer sleeve a, for which purpose it is provided with a stop collar d before geous enough, only needs from the opposite side, so in the direction of the arrow y, the inner sleeve b is inserted and pressed in the axial direction to be to cause the fixed clamp of the plastic tube c in the sleeve a.
A pressing piece is used to press in the inner sleeve b, which can be screwed into the outer sleeve a and which is particularly advantageously a pipe section e, which, as already mentioned, may be part of the pipeline to be connected or a part of a valve to be connected.
The sleeve a is provided with at least one annular groove f . As the drawing shows, the material of the hose c is pressed into this when the inner sleeve b is pressed into the clamping position. It is not only an improved hold of the hose c, but also an improved seal from ensured.
In Fig. 2, another embodiment is also shown in longitudinal section, which differs from the aus bildungsfofm of FIG. 1 but only in that the inner sleeve b is not loosely inserted into the outer sleeve a, but by means of its collar k in the Sleeve a is screwed in.
In this case, the sleeve b has suitable cams, teeth or derglei chen h on its end edge g, while the pressing piece e is provided with corresponding recesses, notches or the like i. Therefore, when the pressing piece e is screwed in, the inner sleeve b is carried along. It is of course possible to use any other key for screwing in the inner sleeve b in this training.
Fig. 3 shows in longitudinal section a Rohrverschrau environment according to the invention in double design. In this case, two inner sleeves b1 and b \ = are provided with an oppositely directed cone; these inner sleeves form a one-piece insert.
The outer sleeve consists of the two parts a1 and a, which can be screwed onto one another.
When the sections a1 and a2 of the outer sleeve are screwed together, they are pulled axially against each other and the cone of both the inner sleeve b1 and the inner sleeve b = is pressed into the clamping position.
