Jede Wälz- maschine läuft also wesentlich langsamer um als das in ihr wirksame Drehfeld; sie ersetzt somit einen Motor mit einem mehrfachen Zahnrad- oder Schneckenv orgelege. Der Vor teil aller Wälzmaschinen gegenüber Vorgelege- motoren liegt darin, dass es, überhaupt keine Teile gibt, die mit der Umlaufzahl des Dreh feldes umlaufen, denn nur der Berührungs punkt zwischen Wälzer und Wälzbahn hat die Umlaufzahl des Drehfeldes, während sich der Wälzer selbst langsam entgegen der Dreh feldumlaufrichtung dreht;
a;, - 2a1 = D, - g, Zal.
Electric rolling machine with increased starting and overturning torque Electric rolling machines are motors in whose stator a rotating, mostly magnetic field is generated, the rotatable part of which, however, does not revolve around a fixed axis, but rather via one with the Stand firmly. connected rolling path rolls. Here it is necessary that the tome is exposed to a force at any point in time that presses it against its point of contact with the rolling path.
To achieve this one-sided tensile force, the surrounding field must also act on one side; For this purpose, a common pole field is expediently used, which is usually brought about by a superimposed C direct current or by rectifiers that suppress the negative half-waves.
The training of the roller can either be cylindrical when it rotates in a hollow cylindrical stator with radial lines of force in the air gap; but it can also be designed as a cone or a disk when it is designed to circulate on a stand that generates axial lines of force in the air gap. (conical tome).
In any case, it is advisable to extend the magnetic circle in the direction of a cylinder or cone-generating unit, as is the case in the exemplary embodiments according to FIG. 1,?, 3, -1:, @ e @ elgt.
The diameter of a cylindrical roller or the inclination of the generators of a conical roller is usually selected only uni little smaller than the diameter of the bore of a cylindrical stand or the inclination of the corresponding generators of a conical stand, so that an extraordinarily high translation into the long same, for example in the ratio 100: 1, and also far above is possible.
Each rolling machine therefore runs much more slowly than the rotating field that is active in it; it thus replaces a motor with a multiple gear or worm gear. The advantage of all rolling machines over countershaft motors is that there are absolutely no parts that rotate at the speed of rotation of the rotating field, because only the point of contact between the roller and the roller path has the rotational speed of the rotating field, while the roller itself rotates slowly rotates against the direction of rotation of the field;
So the tome only needs to be driven at a much lower speed, for example
EMI0001.0036
the rotating field speed. Since the kinetic energy increases with the square of the speed, the first result is that a motor with a 100: 1 reduction gear would have 10,000 times the flywheel torque reduced to the drive shaft.
Since the point of contact between the roller and the roller path moves almost immediately with the rotating field of the machine when a roller machine starts up, all roller machines, similar to compressed air or hydraulic pistons, reach their target speed in a fraction of a period, i.e. in about 1/10 of a second. The main areas of application for rolling machines are control devices, regulators, hoists, rocker arms, adjusting devices, elevators,
Doors and the like, that is, drives that have to reach their final speed quickly and that can be shut down quickly. Here, a slip clutch and a brake are usually unnecessary. Another important area of application is lossless controllable drives with energy recovery. The mentioned rolling path can be a cylindrical surface, a conical surface or a plane. If the apex angle of the conical surface is made adjustable, it gives you the opportunity to continuously change the output speed.
For the conical rolling machine, there are additional areas of application in addition to hoists, adjusting devices and elevators: machine tools, paper machines, small rolling mills, spinning machines and the like. There are also purely electrical applications and use as pumps. For more information, see an article by the patent owner in the magazine of the Austrian Engineer and Architects Association 1952, issue 1/2, as well as the Austrian patent specification No. 166850 from September 5, 1948 and German patent specification No. 902883 from December 22, 1951.
However, the low momentum of the rolling machine is not only a great advantage for all types of controls, it is also an essential condition for startup. If the start-up does not succeed within 1/2 to 1 period, the machine does not start at all. Since the rotor weight is the third power of the diameter, the moment of inertia is proportional to the fifth power of the diameter, but the torque is only proportional to the third power of the diameter with the same induction. see a maximum permissible diameter above which the machine will no longer start.
For this reason, the previous electrical rolling machines are limited to small diameters and thus to small powers.
The effective torque in a rolling machine contains two components, namely first the synchronous torque with which the. The center of gravity of the roller is maintained in synchronism with the rotating field, and secondly the asynchronous torque that is particularly effective during start-up, by which the roller is rotated around its instantaneous axis, that is, its line of contact with the @ Välzbahit.
The synchronous torque is generated by the magnetic pulling force of the rotating field, while the asy nehrone torque is generated by the eddy currents generated in the tome. The forces that cause the eddy currents can be replaced by a resulting force whose point of application is roughly at the point of greatest eddy current density. In the case of tome made of solid iron, this point of application is very close to the point of contact between the tome and the stand.
The subject matter of the invention is an electric rolling machine, the (asynchronous) starting torque of which is considerably increased, with practically no deformation of the momentum compared to the starting torque of the rolling machine of the known type.
According to the invention, the starting torque of the roller is increased by the fact that the lines of action of the magnetic tensile force and the force exerted by the rollers, on the one hand, and the instantaneous axes, on the other, are moved away from each other by shaping the roller, so that these forces are poor against the momentary force under a larger lever attack.
The increase in the performance of the rolling machine according to the invention only enables the above-mentioned application area to be equipped with rolling machines.
For the separation of the force exerted by the rolling currents and the 1-momentaitaclise, there are two possibilities for the shaping of the rolling; namely, firstly, because the cylindrical to slightly conical tome is designed in the shape of a coil through visions and, in two parts, because the coil-shaped tome consists of a cylindrical iron core with ring-shaped laminated cores.
To understand the latter possibility, reference should be made to the fact already mentioned that in the case of rollers made of solid iron, the point of application of the asynchronous torque is close to the point of contact between the roller and the stator; However, if the tome has only one core made of solid iron, which is surrounded by lamination, the point at which the greatest density of eddy currents occurs moves closer,
inwards to the border between the core and the lamellae. However, this also removes the point of application of the asynchronous rotational force from the point of contact with the rolling path, thereby increasing the asynchronous torque.
Embodiments of the invention are shown in FIGS. 1 to 5a, while explanatory schematic representations are given in FIGS. 6 to 10. The Fig.l and 1a show in longitudinal or cross section and partly in view of a cylindrical roller cylinder, whose starting torque is increased on the one hand by lamination of its roller and on the other hand with the help of a roller path enlarged compared to the roller.
In the illustrated Fig.6 is. illustrates the starting torque-increasing effect of lamination or a concealment of the roller.
7 is used to explain the increase in the starting torque with the aid of an enlarged roller path. FIG. 8 shows, for example, a circuit for generating a rotating constant pole field in a rolling nose. In FIG. 2, a conical roller machine is shown in longitudinal section, the roller of which is drawn in the starting position. The conical rolling machine shown in Figure 4 contains two rollers, which are shown in the operating position.
In Fig. Ä a mass balanced conical rolling machine is Darge provides, the stand is shown in Fig. 5a in a view from above. In Figure 3 three mitein other coupled cylindrical rolling machines are shown. Details of this are shown in FIGS. 3n to 3e. In FIGS. 9 and 9a, a cylindrical rolling machine with a differently designed rolling path is shown in longitudinal or cross section.
10 is used to explain the embodiment according to FIG. 9 and 9a.
The cylindrical roller motor shown in Figure 1, for example, has a roller, which consists of a solid core 1 and on the sem attached annular laminated core 2, which are fastened by attached and wedged pressure plates. The magnetic circuit closes over the stator steel 3 and is excited by the distributed multi-phase winding 4, which is greatly desired. The basic structure of the circuit is shown in Fig. 8.
Six windings distributed around the circumference of the stator are connected to the conductors of a three-phase network via rectifier G, in such a way that two each diametrically opposed to one another. Winding conditions are traversed by 180 shifted in the same direction magnetizing half waves. The six windings are traversed by the six half-waves one after the other; the resulting stator field thus exerts a unidirectional force on the tome, the vector of which rotates at the speed of the rotating field.
The designated in Figure 1 with 5 designated damping rings made of electrically conductive material, for example copper or brass, have the purpose of compensating for the pulsations of the rotating field.
The stator plates 3 are, as can be seen from Fig.1a, curved ge approximately after an involute and pressed together by a multi-part stator tube 8 concentrically. Since the winding 4 is also pressed against the damping rings 5- by. The press together can be effected by tangential screws or by appropriate conical training of the cover plates 6 of the stand. The cover plates 6 carry friction tracks 9 on which the friction disks 7 carrying the roller roll.
In the tome shape shown in FIG. 1, the tome currents occur not only on the surface where the lines of force cross from the stator into the tome, but also in the three protruding rings? As a result, the point at which the greatest eddy current losses occur and where the reaction force of the eddy currents also acts is shifted from the edge of the roller (where it would occur in a massive roller without constriction) against the center axis of the roller.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, according to which the rings are in particular laminated, the rotor currents occur primarily at the point where the lines of force from the laminated cores, made of transformer sheet 2, enter the solid cylinder 1.
FIG. 6 serves to explain the force relationships that occur here. The cylindrical tome marked W here has. the diameter D1 and runs in the borehole tion from the diameter D of a stand S around. The magnetic tensile force P acting on the roller W, which is decisive for the synchronous torque, rushes towards the contact point B of the roller W. of its rolling path by an angle a, so that a synchronizing moment of the size hD # P results.
The asynchronous torque, which is decisive for the start-up, is caused by the vortex currents occurring in the tome, which generate a resulting rotational force Q in a tome made of solid iron, the point of application of which is the distance a1 from the contact point. The asynchronous torque in the known rolling machines has the size ccl # Q.
If the distance between the moment pole R and the force Q1 exerted by the eddy currents is increased by shaping, for example by the fact that the roller W has protruding rings R, the asynchronous torque increases with the same bore diameter D to the value (dl + b) # Ql, where with. b =

the enlargement of the lever arm of the asynchronous torque is designated.
The diameter of the roller core which is reduced by the shape of the roller according to the invention is denoted by cl. This reduction in the diameter d of the roller core can come about either through a coil-shaped design of the roller or by the ring area R around the roller core, as shown in FIG. 1. Laminated executed. becomes.
A further increase in the starting torque (without increasing the rotor losses with unchanged magnetic tensile force) is achieved in the rolling machine according to FIG. 1 in that the roller does not rotate directly in the stator bore, but is provided with friction disks 7, the diameter of which is larger than the roller diameter, with a roller path 9 concentric to the stator bore being provided for the friction disks 7. 7 serves to explain these relationships.
If the rolling path duration Dl is selected to be greater than the bore diameter D of the stator, a sy nehronizing moment hC # P and an asy nehrones moment (a. + a1)
# Q. The enlargement of the lever arm is compared to the usual lent rolling machine \ for the synchronizing moment hc. - h.L and for the asynchronous torque a- An even more effective shaping of the rolling path in terms of increasing the starting torque consists in
that, in a kinetic inversion of the friction disk-to-rolling path of the roller, carries a friction disk that encompasses the roller path and rolls around a roller ring attached to the stator. One such execution is. in longitudinal and cross-section in FIGS. 9 and 9a, respectively, and on the basis of FIGS. 10 explained.
The friction disk 7 (r attached to the roller 1) finely encompasses the rolling track 9 from the outside with a race 7b. The inner diameter of the race 7b is designated by D, and the outer diameter of the rolling ring 9 by D1.
This results in a synchronizing moment hD # P and an asynchronous moment (a. - a1) # Q. The magnification of the lever arm is Compared to the usual Wälzmaehine for the synchronizing moment: hn - h. $ = hC - h $ + 2a sin a < / I> and for the asynchronous moment:
a ;, - 2a1 = D, - g, Zal. Here, ö means the eccentricity of the tome and stator axis.
Due to the lengthening of the lever arm according to the invention as a result of the shape of the roller, the start-up and tilting increment is considerably increased with the roller motor being electrically unchanged.
It should be noted that the. Eddy currents - from a practiced force due to the oppositely directed force of the return currents flowing in the weaker field at about the middle height of the roller, the resultant Q moves up to the vicinity of the lower roller edge, and in the case of less favorable shape even moves below it, so that the start-up is only due to the elongation according to the invention of the lever arm succeeds and the inner rolling path, as the. most effective means for this, preference is to be given, as far as the slightly higher production price somehow permits.
The invention is not limited to cylindrical rolling machines; the increase in the starting torque in a rolling machine with a flat or slightly conical roller is shown in FIG. In this embodiment of the rolling machine, the roller is formed from trough-shaped metal sheets 16. It can be pivoted on its Aelise, but is arranged so that it cannot be rotated against it. By shifting the pivot point, the speed can be adjusted, as indicated by the arrow.
The tome is seen ver with a concentric ring 1.3 made of non-magnetic material, with which he see on the with. a thin layer. onv ulcanized rubbers provided friction track 12 rolls off the stand. 1) the stand consists. from an annular part. 18 made of star-shaped or involute-shaped sheets.
In the axial direction, further, likewise laminated ring parts 17 are attached to part 18, the free end surfaces of which are opposite the free end surfaces of the laminated core 16 of the roller. The magnetic flux is generated by the winding 4 seated on the inner ring part 17, enters the laminated core 16 of the roller through the air gap 11 and runs there in the direction of the lamination to.
Air gap 10; Via the latter, the magnetic flux enters the outer ring 17 of the stator and closes over part 18. The damping ring 15 attached to the metal sheets 16 by means of pressure screws 11 together with the pressure screws 14 forms a cage winding for a relatively large starting torque . The damping ring 15 also in this embodiment has the purpose of Chen equalizing Pul sations of the rotating field.
The inventive increase in the starting torque is achieved in the embodiment according to FIG. 2 in that the metal sheets 16 are bent in the shape of a channel, whereby the point at which the rolling currents occur and at which the resulting reaction force acts is moved away from the friction track. Through the ring 17 is also the line of action of. magnetic pulling force moved away from the momentary axis.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, both the stand and the Wäl zer can be built up similarly to the stand shown in FIG. 1a from involute-shaped bent and layered metal sheets. The U-shaped profile of the stand (which is created in FIG. 2 by the assembly of parts 17 and 18) and the channel-shaped profile of the roller are achieved in this case by a suitable cutting or punching tool.
This results in an inclined groove in the stator, in which a distributed winding is arranged, which means that there is no noise and a reduction in current losses on the circumference of the roller can be achieved.
To set the running and Kraftver ratios of this rolling machine, its axis is adjustable in the longitudinal direction, with the inclination angle of the roller against its friction path is changed. 3 shows an arrangement of cylindrical rolling machines, the rollers 20 of which are coupled to one another in a special way for the purpose of mass balancing. The three tomes run in stands 3 with a common axis. The arrangement contains six friction strips 12 for the three tomes.
For the sake of simplicity, the friction disks 7 are drawn with the same diameter as the cylindrical Wälz 20, but are larger to increase the torque. The clutches between the rollers are denoted by 19 and shown in Fig. 3a, in a section perpendicular to the roller cutter. The contact points of the three pairs of friction disks 7 enclose angles of 1'20 with one another. The axle journals of the tome are, for example, combined with the aid of auxiliary rollers to form a roller clutch.
Each roller coupling consists of two journals 21 and 22, the auxiliary roller 23 of the same diameter, the auxiliary roller 24 slightly smaller diameter, the spacer cage 25 and the flexible friction belt 26. The diameter of the auxiliary roller 24 must be so large - that the three are the same large circles 21, 22, 23 do not touch and can be distanced by the distance cage. An even better embodiment of a clutch is shown in FIGS. 3b and 3e, which use three additional auxiliary rollers instead of a spacer cage.
The friction belt is replaced here by two oppositely conical rings 27, 28, the contact pressure of which can be adjusted by a sleeve 29 with a threaded ring 30 pushed over.
In a more perfect way, the mass compensation can be achieved by four cylindrical rollers, the symmetrical contact points of which roller friction path are offset from one another by 180.
Even with conical rolling machines, mass balancing may be required. 4 shows a conical rolling machine with two rollers that are arranged and moved in a mirror-inverted manner, whereby a balance of the axial inertial forces is achieved.
Fig.5 and 5a show a massenausge equalized rolling machine with two flat rollers and four Ständerwickhingen cut in the longitudinal section and viewed from above. The mass balance is achieved through the interaction of two double-acting tomes a.iis rolled metal sheets.
The magnetic Rüeksehluss is. As can be seen from Fig. 5a, divided into six branches by arranging the sheets in a star shape, the R. Rückführung-Bleehe are with. one (xleielist.romwieklun s "31 is occupied, which is used to generate a (Tleic @ i-strommagnetisierLina @) superimposed on the alternating current magnetization.
This compensates for the negative half-waves and creates a constant pole field. Aue], it is advisable to design the stand with inclined grooves and leaned cradle in order to achieve a uniform rotating field and a lower reactive power consumption.
The mechanical part is. designed based on FIG. 4, with plenty of space available for attaching parts 1.92 and 13 inside the stand structure.
In addition, the trapezoidal sheet metal results in cross-section. the tome that the point where the rolling currents occur and where the resulting reaction force acts, has moved away from the friction path. A longitudinal displacement of the shaft halves for speed control, as indicated by arrows in FIG. 4, is. not intended for this type of construction.
However, it can be expected to have a particularly high frictional torque and a particularly small rolling torque.
