Description
Dispositif d'actionnement à la main d'une pièce filetée La présente invention a pour objet un dis positif d'actionnement à la main d'une pièce filetée présentant des pans pour son actionne- ment, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un or gane de manoeuvre capable de glisser axiale- ment sur les pans et un organe de retenue sollicité élastiquement à s'engager dans des moyens de prise que présentent les pans,
de manière à retenir engagé l'organe de manoeu- vre en position active sur ladite pièce filetée contre un détachement fortuit et à permettre le retrait de cet organe par une traction dans le sens de l'axe du filet.
La figure unique du dessin représente en coupe, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du dispositif selon l'invention.
Le dispositif représenté est destiné à ac tionner un écrou six-pans 1 dont chaque pan présente une creusure 2. Il comprend un or gane de manoeuvre creux 3 capable de glisser axialement sur les pans de l'écrou 1, et un manche 4, vissé dans l'organe 3 et destiné à lit commande de la rotation de cet organe. Le manche 4 présente un trou borgne 5 dans le quel sont disposés un ressort 6 et un organe de retenue constitué par une bille 7. Le ressort 6 est monté à compression entre le fond du trou et la bille 7.
Un léger sertissage de l'extrémité du trou empêche la bille d'être chassée du trou par le ressort 6, la bille faisant cependant saillie à l'extrémité du manche 5 et à l'intérieur de l'organe de manoeuvre 3. Il est évident que la forme intérieure de l'organe 3 est complé mentaire de celle de l'écrou 1 à actionner.
Quand on veut actionner l'écrou, c'est-à- dire le visser ou le dévisser, on vient le coiffer avec l'organe 3 et on fait glisser ce dernier axialement sur les pans de l'écrou. Pendant ce mouvement, la bille 7 est repoussée contre l'action du ressort 6, jusqu'à ce qu'elle arrive au niveau d'une creusure 2. A ce moment, le ressort pousse la bille dans la creusure, de manière à retenir engagé l'organe de manoeu- vre en position active sur ledit écrou, contre tout détachement fortuit.
L'organe de manoeu- vre 3 pourra ainsi transmettre un couple à l'écrou 1 sans risquer d'être détaché de sa posi tion active. Cependant, par une traction sur l'organe 3 dans le sens de l'axe du filet il est possible, à volonté, de retirer l'organe 3 de l'écrou 1.

The single figure of the drawing shows in section, by way of example, an embodiment of the device according to the invention.
The device shown is intended to actuate a hexagon nut 1, each side of which has a recess 2. It comprises a hollow operating member 3 capable of sliding axially on the sides of the nut 1, and a handle 4, screwed on. in member 3 and intended for controlling the rotation of this member. The handle 4 has a blind hole 5 in which are arranged a spring 6 and a retaining member constituted by a ball 7. The spring 6 is mounted in compression between the bottom of the hole and the ball 7.
A slight crimping of the end of the hole prevents the ball from being forced out of the hole by the spring 6, the ball however projecting at the end of the handle 5 and inside the actuator 3. It is obvious that the internal shape of the member 3 is complementary to that of the nut 1 to be actuated.
When we want to actuate the nut, that is to say screw it or unscrew it, we cap it with the member 3 and we slide the latter axially on the sides of the nut. During this movement, the ball 7 is pushed against the action of the spring 6, until it reaches the level of a recess 2. At this moment, the spring pushes the ball into the recess, so as to retain engaged the actuator in the active position on said nut, against any accidental detachment.
The actuator 3 will thus be able to transmit a torque to the nut 1 without running the risk of being detached from its active position. However, by pulling the member 3 in the direction of the axis of the thread it is possible, at will, to remove the member 3 from the nut 1.
