Photo corner and method for producing photo corners The invention relates to a photo corner and a method for producing photo corners, which consist of a base sheet, one corner of which is covered on the front side by a transparent film that extends around the edges of the corner on the back the base sheet is folded over and attached there, and from a back of the base sheet and the folded film parts from covering and connected to these parts cover sheet that is on his back with. provided with self-adhesive adhesive and covered by a layer made of a non-fibrous material.
As far as known photo corners see ver on the back with water-soluble adhesive and are not particularly covered there, they have certain disadvantages. They have to be moistened when pasting, which means that the user gets wet fingers, if necessary the photos to be pasted into an album using the photo corners may have water stains; furthermore, the often practiced wetting of the back of the photo corners with the tongue is unhygienic.
Furthermore, when glued into an album, the corners immediately bond so strongly with the album sheet that it is often not possible to straighten images glued in at an angle without damaging the photo corners or the album sheet. Also are the ones previously used. water-soluble rubber linings are very sensitive to moisture, and on the other hand, the adhesive layer becomes brittle if the moisture is too low, so that the corners are easily warped.
It has therefore already been proposed to provide photo corners on their backs with a permanent adhesive, that is to say a self-adhesive adhesive, the use of which. Removes the above-mentioned finishing agents. On the other hand, however, such an adhesive has the disadvantage that the Photoeeken, which are provided with a self-adhesive adhesive on the back, cannot easily be marketed in this form because they stick together.
Therefore, a tape-shaped base made of a fiber-free material is used - on which the photo corners are arranged next to one another that a narrow edge of the back of the photo corners remains free of adhesive, so that the peeling of the photo corners from the tape is made easier.
However, it is necessary that each photo corner individually on its back, with the recess of part of this back, see ver by hand with the self-adhesive adhesive, first dried and also placed on the tape by hand. The use of this extraordinarily cumbersome process is avoided by the formation of the photo corner according to the invention and by the method for producing these photo corners according to the invention.
The photo corner according to the invention is characterized in that the layer formed from a non-fibrous material is formed from a second cover sheet which has at least one part that is not glued to other parts of the photo corner.
The method according to the invention for producing photo corners consists in applying a strip to a non-fraying tape. and is provided with the self-adhesive adhesive, this two-ply tape is glued together with a second tape that has the remaining parts of the photo corners to be bil, and finally the photo corners are punched out of the multi-ply tape at least to the extent that they are easily v Let it separate completely. Complete punching out can also follow.
In the drawing, a photo corner according to the invention and also schematically the method for producing such photo corners is shown, for example.
They show: FIG. 1 the front side of a photo corner, FIGS. 2 and 3 photo corners in the state of formation, namely: FIG. 2 the rear side of the base sheet with the foil parts folded over, FIG. 3 the base sheet provided with a first cover sheet, FIG .4 the back of the finished photo corner, FIGS. 5 to 8 sections through different embodiments, FIG. 9 schematically the method for producing the photo corners.
The photo corner consists of the base sheet 1, one corner of which is covered on the front by a transparent film 2, which is folded around the edges of the corner on the back of the base sheet, where the folded corner pieces 2 'by means of an adhesive layer 3 with the Base sheet are connected. The back of the base sheet and the folded-over parts 2 'of the film 2 are covered by means of a first cover sheet 4, which is attached to these parts by means of an adhesive layer 5.
This first cover sheet 4 has on its back the adhesive layer 6 made of self-adhesive adhesive, which in turn is covered by the second cover sheet 7.
Fig. 5 shows a section through an imple mentation form of a photo corner, in which the second cover sheet 7 protrudes over the base sheet 1 at one point. In the photo corner according to the sections shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, which is also shown in the semi-finished state in FIG. 3, the first cover sheet 4 does not completely cover the base sheet 1, so that when the second cover sheet 7 Has the same shape as the base sheet, the photo corner has two tabs 1 'and 7' of the base sheet and the second cover sheet, which are not connected to each other.
The flap 1 'of the base sheet can be covered with an adhesive layer on the back. 8, by means of which the Photoeeke can additionally be attached to the album sheet.
4 also shows a wave-shaped cutting line 11 which can be provided in the second cover sheet 7 and which enables the two parts of the second cover sheet 7 separated by the cutting line to be spread by arching the photo corner, so that you can easily remove these two parts from the photo corner.
As shown schematically in FIG. 9, the photo corners can be produced by first spraying a strip 4b onto a non-fraying tape 7b and providing it with the self-adhesive 6, the self-adhesive holding the two strips together. Then one edge of the double-layer tape 4b, 7b that has been created is punched out in such a way that corners 7 ″ remain at a distance at which the finished photo corners are created.
At the same time, a second band: 1b, which has the remaining parts of the photo corner to be formed, is prepared. This second band 1b is first of all prepunched so that corners 1 ″ are created on one edge around which.
the transparent film 2 is laid around in the manner already indicated. The second tape 1b prepared in this way is glued together with the double-layer tape 4b, 7b in such a way that the back of the second tape 1b, which has the folded corners 2 'of the film 2, with the side of the strip 4b turned away from the non-fibrous tape 7b is glued together and the corners 7 "come to rest on the corners 1".
Finally, the photo corners 9 are completely or punched out of the multilayered tape in such a way that, for example at 10, they are still connected in such a way that they can easily be completely separated when they are used.
FIG. 9 shows that the strip 4b to be applied to the non-fibrous tape 7b is provided with a strip @ 6 of self-adhesive adhesive which is narrower than that. fibrous tape 7b and the strip 4b. In this case, photo corners 9 arise in which the first cover sheet 4 has a location free from the self-adhesive adhesive 6, as shown in FIG.
The method could, however, also be carried out in such a way that the; strip 4b is generally only as wide as the strip 6. In this case, photo corners 9 arise in which, as shown in FIGS has flaps 1 'which are not covered by the first cover sheet 4 and which, as FIG. 7 shows, can be provided with adhesive 8 towards the rear side of the photo corner.
Is dash-dotted. FIG. 9 shows that the non-fibrous band 7b is wider than the strip 4b and the second band 1b, which then creates photo corners in which the second cover sheet 7, as shown in FIG. 5, overlaps at one point the base sheet 1 and of course also over the first cover sheet 4 protrudes.
It is also indicated in Fig. 9 by a dotted line that the non-fibrous tape 7b can never have a cut that can run straight, wavy or zigzag and that the detachment of the second cover sheet 7 from the finished photo corners 9 there facilitated by the fact that when the photo corner 9 is arched, the edges of the second cover sheet 7 located on the cutting line spread apart.
Unless a self-adhesive adhesive is used to connect the strips 1 and 4, a thermoplastic material in the form of an on-line or an intermediate film can be used instead of an adhesive.
It is also possible to produce the photo corner entirely or partially from thermoplastic synthetic material and to weld the individual parts together at the points that would be connected to one another by means of a non-self-adhesive adhesive.
