Mischmaschine
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie II-II in Fig. 1,
Mixer
The present invention relates to a mixing machine with at least one agitator, in which a shaft is arranged in a cylindrical housing coaxially to the housing, on which the agitator sits, which consists of two mirror-image identical, at least two-bladed blades whose blades are so curved are that their cross-sections from the shaft to the outside have a gradually more strongly curved profile, the superimposed blades of the two wings each have a straight longitudinal edge, which edges are parallel to each other and are perpendicular to the shaft, such,
that the gap between the two blades widens in the sense of the direction of rotation of the agitator from front to back, and in which on both sides of the agitator on the wall of the housing at least two, the same shape as the blades of the blades, from the housing wall against The blades to run along the shaft are fixedly arranged in such a way that their curved longitudinal edges in the direction from the housing wall to the shaft approach the plane of rotation of the agitator.
This mixer is intended for mixing two or more liquids, a liquid with a gas, for the creation of suspensions and emulsions and for homogenizing mixtures, suspensions and emulsions. As tests have shown, can. with such a mixer, a considerably more favorable effect can be achieved. s with the mixing devices previously used for these purposes.
This mixing machine can be designed as a continuous mixer and have a tubular housing through which the media to be mixed or the mixture to be homogenized. is passed through, or be built into a stirred container.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown schematically. Show it :
Fig. 1 is an axial section through the first embodiment of the mixer.
Fig. 2 is a section along the line II-II in Fig. 1,
3 shows a side view of the stirring element of the mixing machine according to FIGS. 1 and 2 with the stationary blades of their housing,
4 shows an axial section through the second embodiment of the mixing machine,
Fig. 5 is a section along the line V-V in Fig. 4 and
6 is a side view of the stirrer. the mixer of FIGS. 4 and 5 with the fixed blades of its housing.
The mixing machine shown in Fig. 1 to 3 is installed in a cylindrical housing 1, in which a shaft 2, which is mounted in bearings not shown in the drawing and is driven by means not shown in the drawing, preferably an electric motor, is arranged coaxially. On the shaft 2 sits a stirrer, which consists of two mirror-inverted, two-leaf blades 3 and 4, which are fixedly arranged on the shaft 2 at a small axial distance and whose blades are curved so that their cross-sections follow the shaft have a gradually more curved profile on the outside.
Between the adjacent, parallel to each other and perpendicular to the shaft 2, straight longitudinal edges of the blades of the vanes 3 and 4, which are at the front in the sense of the direction of rotation, a narrow space 5 that widens towards the rear is maintained.
On the wall of the housing 1, two diametrically opposed blades 6 and 7, which have the same shape as the blades of the blade 3 and which are fixed from the outside, i.e. from the wall of the housing 1, are fixedly arranged below the blade 3 of the agitator element run inside and are arranged in such a way that their curved longitudinal edges 16, 17 approach the plane of rotation of the agitator element in the direction from the housing wall to the shaft.
Above the wing 4, on the wall of the housing 1, two diametrically opposite and opposite blades 8 and 9, which are curved in the same way as the blades of the wing 4 and which extend inward from the wall of the housing 1 and are arranged such that their curved longitudinal edges 18, 19 in the direction from the housing wall to the shaft approach the plane of rotation of the agitator. Above the blades 8 and 9, on the wall of the housing 1, a guide plate 10 and 11, respectively, directed obliquely inward, is firmly arranged.
The material to be mixed or the mixture to be homogenized is introduced into the housing 1. If the shaft 2 with the agitator is set in rotation, the material to be mixed is intimately mixed by the rotating blades 3 and 4 of the agitator in cooperation with the stationary blades 6 and 7 or 8 and 9. Due to the special shape of the blades of the blades 3 and 4 and the fixed blades 6 and 7 or 8 and 9, the material to be mixed is partly pushed against the centrifugal force into the center of the container, with the material to be mixed into the gap 5 which widens towards the rear .
This creates a strong turbulence in the area of the agitator, which brings about an extremely effective mixing of the material to be mixed. The guide plates 10 and 11 also direct the mix inwards.
The mixing machine shown in FIGS. 4 to 6 is designed as a continuous mixer. Their individual parts are designed in exactly the same way, with a tubular housing 1 ′ being provided only in place of the housing 1 closed at the bottom, through which the material to be mixed or the mixture to be homogenized is passed. In addition, in this embodiment of the mixing machine, two stirring elements each consisting of blades 3 ′ and 4 ′ are provided, the blades 3 ′ and 4 ′ of the two stirring elements being offset by 90.
On the wall of the housing 1 ', the blades 6' and 7 'are fixedly arranged below the lower stirring element and the blades 8' and 9 'as well as the guide plates 10' and 11 'are fixed above the upper stirring element. Between the two stirring elements, diametrically opposite one another, two pairs of blades 12, 13 and 14, 15 are fixedly arranged on the wall of the housing 1 '. The blades 12 and 13 or 14 and 15 have the same opposite curvature as the blades 6 'and 7' or 8 'and 9' of the two agitating elements which are located next to them.
This doubling of the agitator. as well as the blades fixed on the housing wall, the mixing performance of the continuous mixer is increased considerably.
It is also possible to provide more than two agitating elements, with two stationary pairs of blades being provided between each of the agitating elements. In addition, instead of two diametrically opposed stationary blades, more blades of this type can be provided distributed around the circumference of the housing, as can each agitator element having multi-blade blades.
A major advantage of the mixing machine described is that it can be operated with a relatively small number of revolutions compared to other mixers used for this purpose.
The blades, which are fixedly arranged on the wall of the housing, can be designed as hollow bodies and fitted in order to guide a cooling or heating fluid through them.
The blades of the blades of the agitator or agitator can also be designed as a hollow body and set up for the passage of a coolant or icing fluid, bores being provided in the shaft for the supply and removal of the cooling or heating fluid.
