Embedding a deep-frozen space in the ground The invention relates to an embedding of a deep-frozen space in the ground.
In the case of freezer rooms and deep-freeze rooms in basements, there is a risk that ice will form in the ground under the building despite good insulation, which can lead to severe damage to the building. So far, various precautions have been taken against such ice formation, such as heating the floor with warm air, warm water, or electrical cables under the insulation, or simply cavities were provided under the freezer compartment.
Various disadvantages had to be accepted, such as increased construction costs, poor accessibility for monitoring and, in the case of hot water heating, the risk of the water freezing if the circulation pump was not running.
The aim of the invention is to reduce the risk of ice formation in a deep-frozen Rauin embedded in the ground in a relatively simple and operationally reliable manner. According to the invention, for this purpose, at least one heating rod consisting of 1-letalldralite and through which an electric current of low voltage flows is concreted in the embedding.
In the drawing, an example of an execution form of the subject invention is shown in simplified form. The figures show: FIG. 1 a vertical section through a cooling space that is largely embedded in the ground, and FIG. 2 shows a heating coil built into the embedding of the cooling space.
The freezer compartment is denoted by 1. The embedding of the cold room in the ground consists of concrete masonry 2., which partially forms the side walls and also the bottom of the cold room. The interior of the cooling space is protected against the walling by an insulating layer 3 against the ingress of heat, and an inner lining 4 forms the inner floor and also the wall and ceiling covering of the refrigerator.
In order to avoid excessive cooling of the ground in the vicinity of the bedding and thus ice formation in the ground, heating coils 5, 6 and 7 are concreted in the bedding. These heating coils are made of metal wire and low-voltage electrical current flows through them.
The temperature of the embedding only needs to be kept slightly above freezing point, so that with good insulation of the cold room only a very low heating output is required, even if temperatures down to -40 ° C are maintained in the cold room, for example. The heating coil can consist of iron wire and form part of the Be tonarmierung. It then only has to be electrically isolated from the rest of the reinforcement. the concrete itself is sufficient for the insulation. Because it is embedded in the concrete, the heating coil is protected from external influences. You therefore do not need any. Monitoring and has a high level of operational reliability.
