Description

Fig. 2 eine perspektivische Ansicht einer Einrichtung,
Fig. 3 einen Schnitt nach Linie A-A in Fig. 2,
Fig. 4 eine Variante im Grundri¯ ;
Fig. 5 und 6 zeigen Einzelheiten der Ein riehtung.
Method and device for carrying and conveying a web by means of a gas
The present invention relates to a method of supporting and conveying a web by means of a gas which is blown against the web.
The method according to the invention is characterized in that gas is blown through groups of openings against the underside of the web, which gas is discharged through outlet openings which alternate in the direction of web movement with the groups of gas inlet openings, gas also being blown against the upper side of the material web and is derived in a direction perpendicular to its direction of movement.
A further subject of the invention is a device for carrying out this method, with the material web arranged on both sides. Blower connected distribution chambers to supply gas and blow it against the material web. This facility is marked.
through distribution chambers with perforated ceilings, between which outlet channels are arranged, the whole thing in such a way that the ceiling openings alternate with the outlet channels, so that the gas blown against the material web first moves in the forward direction and then enters the outlet channels, whereby Further distribution chambers are arranged above the material web, in which, however, the 130den are perforated, from which gas is blown onto the material web and diverted transversely to the conveying direction.
Such a method and such a device are used, for example, in the cellulose industry for drying cellulose fiber webs. As far as the process for the textile industry for the non-purely mechanical finishing of textile fibers could be considered, it is not done. nt.
With reference to the accompanying drawings, embodiments of the invention are explained. Show it :
F'ig. 1 is a scheme to explain an example of a process,
2 shows a perspective view of a device,
Fig. 3 is a section along line A-A in Fig. 2,
4 shows a variant in the Grundri;
Fig. 5 and 6 show details of a device.
In Fig. 1, the material web, for example cellulose, is with. 1, while the movement direction is indicated by the arrows 3 and 1: L. The arrows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 indicate the inlet for the gas against the underside of the strip-shaped material. The web 1 is carried and transported by the gas. The corresponding gas supply towards the top of the material is indicated by arrows 5, 7, 9. In the embodiment shown, the gas is blown vertically against the upper side of the web and must flow against its edges. As illustrated, the gas turns on different parts in the direction of movement alternately towards the right and left edge of the web.
In FIG. 2, the material web is denoted by l and the direction of movement is denoted by arrows 3 and 11. The numbers 13, 15, 17 and 19 designate a number of chambers with perforated walls for a gas which is blown against the underside of the material web. These chambers are connected to a gas blower 21 via a distribution channel 20. The chambers are arranged at intervals so that the channels 14, 15 and 18 are formed between them. These outlet channels run transversely to the direction of movement and are connected to a collecting channel (not shown). The gas is thus brought into circulation.
The upper walls of the chambers 13, 15, 17, 19 have groups of openings 22 through which the gas is blown against the material web 1. According to FIG. 6, these openings 22 are curved in the shape of a hood, the transition to the cover plate being arched. As a result, the nozzles for the gas blown onto the underside of the material web are directed obliquely. This embodiment of the lower chambers 13, 15, 17 and 19 creates a component which is effective in the direction of movement of the web.
The chambers arranged above the belt are marked with 23,? 25, 27, 29. These upper chambers are connected to a gas blower 31 via a distribution channel 30. By means of this channel 30, the gas is blown in through the openings 39 in the chamber bottoms down to the top of the belt. The upper chambers are arranged at the same intervals as the lower chambers. The spaces between the chambers a, b, c, d are covered by plates.
In the illustrated embodiment, the side walls ef protrude so that they alternately form front ends of the upper chambers, which side walls partially protrude against the material web or its side edge or up to the corresponding lower chamber, while on the opposite side between the upper chambers and the Band an open passage g is provided which runs parallel to the conveying direction. This arrangement of the upper chambers is illustrated in FIG. This arrangement of the upper chambers 23, 25, 27, 29 is intended to ensure that the gas blown onto the upper side e of the web is diverted transversely to the direction of movement of the web in the direction of arrow 33.
This results in a corresponding component which is perpendicular to the direction of movement of the belt.
Fig. 4 shows a modified embodiment of an upper chamber. The inlet openings are designated by 32 'and 32 ". The number of inlet openings is somewhat reduced in this case and a number of outlet openings is., So arranged that a group of outlet openings 34' with one Number of adjacent inlet openings 32 'interacts, while the following inlet openings 32 ″ - seen in the direction of flow of the gas - for their part cooperate with the openings 34 ″. This results in a cross flow on the upper side of the web guided gas, as in the chamber shown in FIG.
