Description

Device for attaching the chair feet of a swivel chair with its spindle bearing The present invention relates to a device for attaching the chair feet of a swivel chair with its spindle bearing.

Up to now, the (chair feet were screwed onto brackets connected to the spindle bearing. These brackets are cross-shaped on four-legged chairs and, if they are punched out of sheet metal, require a lot of material because a lot of waste is generated. Are these brackets made of flat iron and fixed to the spindle bearing welds, then there is expensive welding work.

The present invention aims to create a bil ligere connection of the chair feet with the spindle bearing. The invention consists in that the spindle bearing has at least two pins arranged one above the other radial to the spindle bearing axis, corresponding to the number of feet to be fastened, via which the upper end of each chair foot with in,

This pre-drilled holes engages and by means of a pin that traverses the two pins and the chair base on the spindle support, it is fastened.

In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is illustrated. It shows: FIG. 1 a swivel chair with four chair feet, FIG. 2 the spindle bearing of the same with a chair foot arranged thereon, FIG. 3 a section along line I-I in FIG.

The spindle bearing 1 is expediently made of malleable cast iron and! has pins 2, which are arranged vertically one above the other and are radial to the spindle bearing axis. According to the number of feet 3 of the chair, two pegs are arranged one above the other in the circumference. The present exemplary embodiment is provided with four feet, for example.

The feet 3, for example made of wood, are provided at their upper end with holes 3 a, which engage over the bolts 2. The attachment of the chair foot to the spindle bearing is carried out by the pin 4, which crosses both the upper end of the foot and the pin 2.

Using drilling jigs who the holes 3, a and the pin hole for the pin 4 in the .Fuss .3 and in the pin 2 drilled, in such a way, d'ass in the foot 3 the distance to the pin hole from the support surface 3b of the same something is greater than the distance a of the pin holes in the bolts 2 from the wall,

of the spindle bearing. As a result, when the pin 4 is hammered in, the foot is tightened against the spindle bearing, that is, it is pressed against the wall of the spindle bearing. This fastening is much more permanent than the previous fastening by means of screws and much cheaper to manufacture than this.

In addition, the iStuhl is much more resistant to stress. Another advantage is that the narrow sides of the feet, with the exception of the abutment surface, can have a consistently curved shape that can be produced with a milling cutter in one operation.
