Beispiel 1 In 250 Teilen Chlorbenzol löst man 12 Teile 1- Amino-4-oxy anthrachinon.
Man bringt es in be kannter Weise in feine Verteilung.

Process for the preparation of acylaminoanthraquinones It has been found that Aey1amino- an.thraquinones, which are valuable as dyes for synthetic structures, are obtained if 1-amino-4-oxyanthraquinone, which has a substituent in the 6 and 1 or 7 positions such as B.
Can contain fluorine, chlorine and! Or bromine, with functional derivatives of low molecular weight methoxy fatty acids in which the ether residue is separated from the carbonyl group by at least two methyl groups.
Examples of methoxy fatty acids are: 2-methoxypropionic acid, 3-diethoxy butyric acid, 3-methoxyvaleric acid and 5-methoxy caproic acid.
Functional derivatives of methoxy fatty acids which can be used for implementation are, for example, the anhydrides and the halides, especially the chlorides. The acylation with the acid chlorides is the most advantageous type of implementation.
The reaction is advantageously carried out in an organic solvent, e.g. B. benzene, To luene, xylene, chlorobenzene, dichlorobenzene or nitrobenzene made. The components, for example 1-amino-4-oxyanthraquinone and a methoxy fatty acid chloride according to the definition, are heated in a molecular ratio or with a small excess of acid chloride in the chosen solvent until the evolution of hydrogen chloride ceases and the zone of the starting material in the chromatogram of a sample disappeared.
Instead of letting the hydrogen chloride fume off, it can also be reacted by adding bases, e.g. B. pyridine and its homologues or dimethylamino benzene, or by an alkali metal compound soluble in organic solvents, z. B. sodium acetate or potassium acetate, bin the. In this case, the reaction temperature can be reduced, for example down to room temperature.
Another type of procedure exists. in that the methoxy fatty acid chloride is produced in the acylation mixture itself. For this purpose, the anthraquinone derivative, for example 1-amino-4-oxyanthraquinone, is heated,
in the selected solvent in a molar ratio or in a small excess with a methoxy fatty acid according to the definition and adds the amount of thionyl chloride or phosphorus trichloride necessary for conversion into the acid chloride. The resulting hydrogen chloride is left to smoke until the zone of the starting material has disappeared in the chromatogram of a sample.
The acylaminoanthraquinones are worked up from the reaction mixtures by filtering them off, if appropriate after diluting the reaction solutions with a low molecular weight alcohol, or by driving off the solvent, for which purpose direct distillation or distillation with steam can be chosen. After drying, they lie in the form of orange-colored crystal powder @. or.
For use as dyes, the aylaminoanthraquinones are converted into finely divided form, advantageously with the addition of dispersants, wetting agents or protective colloids. They color synthetic structures @ .. ie polyester (eg Dacron, Terylene, registered trademarks); many are particularly characterized by a good affinity for activated celluloses (e.g. acetate silk) and by good solubility in their spinning masses.
The dyeings have remarkable authenticity properties such. B. a very good smoke and as fastness; in particular, however, they are extremely lightfast. They differ in their lightfastness in a surprisingly advantageous manner from the dyeings made with the simplest representative of the series, the 1 --_ llethoxy aeetylamino-4-oxyanthraquinone. he will hold.
The following examples illustrate the invention, the parts being parts by weight and the percentages being percentages by weight and the temperatures being given in degrees Celsius.
Example 1 12 parts of 1-amino-4-oxyanthraquinone are dissolved in 250 parts of chlorobenzene. The solution is dehydrated by brief distillation on the descending cooler. After cooling to 80, 8 parts of 2-1-methoxypropionic acid chloride are allowed to run within 10 minutes and the mixture is stirred. it at 80-100 until a chromatographed sample of the mixture no longer contains any blue-red 1-amino-4-oxva.nthra- ebinone.
The chlorobenzene is distilled off with steam, the 1- (2'-methoxy) propionylamino-4-oxyanthraquinone is filtered off, washed and dried.
5 parts of the resulting crystal powder or the corresponding amount of the moist filter cake are stirred cold in -80 parts of water with parts of 30% sodium hydroxide solution and 5 parts of a boiling technical Ppidine fraction until no orange-colored crystals under the microscope are more visible. The suspension is then poured into a mixture of 50 parts of water and 15 parts of technical 30% hydrochloric acid, and the precipitate is filtered off and washed neutral.
It is then ground colloidly in a stainless ball mill with 5 parts of the technical condensation product of naphthalenesulfonic acid and formaldehyde. The paste obtained can be dried by atomizing it in a stream of warm air. In this way, an orange-colored powder is obtained which is easily dispersed in water. An aqueous suspension. dyed, you can achieve orange-colored shades of excellent light and smoke gas fastness on acetate artificial silk and Daeron.
EXAMPLE 200 parts of technical-grade xylene mixture and 12 parts of 1-amino-4-oxyanthine are freed from traces of water by distillation. 10.7 parts of 3-methoxybutyric acid bromide are added dropwise to the solution at 60-80 in the course of 15 minutes. The mass is stirred for 30 minutes at 80 and then heated to the boil until the starting material has disappeared. After the xylene has been stripped off with steam, the precipitate is filtered off, washed and dried.
The 1- (3'-methoxy) -butyrylamino-4-oxy antirraehinone stains. in finely divided form on acetate artificial silk, Da.cron and Tery len a lively orange with excellent light and smoke fastness.
Example 3 To an anhydrous solution of 12 parts of 1-amino-4-oxvanthraquinone in 250 parts of toluene: and 6.5 parts of dimethylaminobenzene, 8.3 parts of 3- To drop metlroxyvaleric acid chloride. The mixture is stirred at 40-50 until the red starting material has disappeared. Then you blow the toluene with it. The water vapor is removed, the 1 .- (3'-methoxy) valerianylamino-4-oxyanthraquinone is filtered off, and ". # Ä. Sees and dries it.
It is finely distributed in a known manner. In this form it dyes acetate silk, daeron and terylene in orange tones with excellent light and smoke gas resistance. Example 4 In 300 parts of dry chlorobenzene, 12 parts of sharply dried 1-amino-4-oxyanthraquinone are dissolved at 60. 5 parts of pyridine are added to the solution and 9.5 parts of 5-methoxyeapronic acid chloride are allowed to run in over the course of 30 minutes.
The reaction mixture is stirred until the reaction has ended, the temperature being allowed to drop to 25. Then it is diluted with 250 parts of methanol and the precipitated 1- (5'-methoxy) - capronylam.ino - 4-oxyanthraehinone is filtered off at room temperature. It is washed with water and dried. By converting it into finely divided form, a dye is obtained that dyes daeron and terylene in orange tones.
Further examples are summarized in a table. In it, the acylaminoanthraehinones are identified by the 1-amino-4-oxyanthraquinones and:% 1ethoxy fatty acids used for the synthesis and by the color of their dyeing on polyester fibers. The colors are visible to light and smoke.
