Edge protection device for shuttering boards The invention relates to an edge protection device for shuttering boards, which consist of one piece or can be assembled from several sub-boards.
According to the invention it is provided that the legs of U-shaped angled guard iron at the ends bent inwards at right angles, to engage in the wood be certain, have lance-shaped anchoring teeth that have neck-shaped constrictions.
This embodiment has the advantage that, due to the lance-like design of the teeth, the edge trimmings have an extremely strong connection to the formwork panel, which does not come off by itself when the panel is removed.
The Sehalungsbretten are therefore very spared and have a much longer service life than was previously the case.
It is advisable to arrange the anchoring teeth designed according to the inven tion at the ends of the legs of the protective irons in several tooth groups arranged at a distance from one another. This measure gives the wood the opportunity to swell and shrink without the connection between wood and iron being disturbed or even broken.
The lance-shaped design of the teeth can be done in various ways. For example, the enlarged part of the tooth can take the form of a. Have a triangle or a square placed on its tip, it being useful to provide the tip with a barb on each side.
The neck adjoining the tip can be cylindrical or wedge-shaped. exhibit. Instead is. It is also possible, please include: to provide a semicircular groove under: the enlarged part or the tip of the tooth.
The boards are conveniently milled out at their upper and lower edges to accommodate the edge protection profile so that after the edge protection has been attached, the angle of the U-shaped profile with the upper or lower surface of the sheet metal form a plane.
The Kantenschutzeinriclrtung according to the invention can be used wherever protection of the end grain edges is in question, z. B. -for panel formwork, scaffolding, elements for barracks and: hall constructions, etc.
The object of the invention is. Shown for example in the drawing, namely Fig.1 shows a shuttering board with an edge protection device in a plan view obliquely from above, Fig. 2 is a partial section through the object of Fig.1 along line A-B. .
3 shows a schematic representation of the edge protection profile before its final attachment to the formwork panel, and FIG. 4-7 shows several embodiments of the anchoring teeth.
The formwork board shown in Fig.1 consists. from the boards 1, 2 and 3, which are put together in a suitable manner tightly with their longitudinal edges.
In the embodiment shown in the drawing. the edge protection device made of a U-shaped profile iron, the legs 4 and 5 of different lengths through the web 6 are verbun the. At the free end of the legs 4, 5, the rows of teeth 7, 8 are arranged at right angles, which when the legs are pressed on. 4, 5 with their teeth 9 into the wood of the table from above or
be pressed in from below.
The web 6 of the U-shaped edge protection is partly extended on both sides. The resulting tabs 11, 12 are bent at right angles to attach to the two longitudinal edges of the formwork panel and pressed firmly against the longitudinal edges, whereupon they are attached to the longitudinal edges in prepared holes 13 by means of retractable wood screws 14. By bending the protective flaps 11, 'l2 good corner protection is guaranteed at the same time.
But it can also be provided with advantage that these protective flaps with. anchoring teeth angled against the wood, either arranged at the end edges or punched out of their surface; are designed so that they hold without the use of screws.
The teeth 9 used to attach the U-iron have a substantially lance-shaped configuration. These teeth are made by punching out the edge sheath iron at the free end of the U-legs and after punching according to right-angle lig-bent.
In the example shown in FIG. 4, the teeth 9 each consist of a quadrangle 15 which is set on its tip and which is connected to the legs of the edge protection iron by a wedge-shaped foot 10a which widens downwards.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. the tooth 9 consists of an equilateral triangle 16 which is connected to the leg of the U-iron profile by a cylindrical foot 10.
The Ausfühialngsbeispiel Fig. 6 shows an embodiment similar to Fig. 5, but with the difference that the laterally located corners of the triangle 16 through cutouts at the base line form two barbs 17, whereby the tip of the tooth, which with. 16a. designated form receives. The foot of the tip 1.6a is widened downwards and forms the wedge 10b.
In the embodiment according to Fig. 7, the tooth is also provided with a triangular tip 16b, but the foot is provided with an annular, semicircular groove 18 reaching up to the side corners of the tip.
The teeth can also be any other lance-shaped, initially. widening and then tapering form again.
As shown in FIG. 1, the teeth 9 are not evenly distributed over the entire length of the ends of the U-legs of the edge protector. The gnippen-wise arrangement of the teeth has the advantage that the swelling and shrinking of the wood can be borne by the teeth. The groups of teeth can also be distributed in other ways along the length of the U-legs. will.
