Pressure dyeing plant The present invention relates to a pressure dyeing plant, comprising an airtight dyeing tank, an airtight expansion tank, and a centrifugal pump.
It should be noted that, in the description below, the word dyeing is not limiting, but that it designates, in general, any dyeing or similar operation, such as bleaching, mordanting, etc.
The installation according to the invention is characterized in that it further comprises a pipe connecting the expansion tank to the suction side of the centrifugal pump, a pipe connecting the delivery side of the pump to a distributor. multi-channel fluid, a line connecting said fluid distributor and the dye tank, a line connecting said fluid distributor and the expansion tank, a line connecting said fluid distributor and the inlet side of the pump, a connection between the upper parts of the dye tank and the hermetic expansion tank, for pressure balancing,
valves being arranged on the pipe connecting the expansion tank and the pump, on the pipe connecting the fluid distributor and the pump inlet, on the pipe connecting said distributor and the expansion tank and on the connection between the two tanks, means for emptying said tanks. The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the installation forming the subject of the invention. Figs. 1 and 2 show an elevation view and a plan view, respectively, with many details omitted for clarity of the drawing. Figs. 3 to 7 schematically show the circulation of the liquid in the installation.
The installation shown comprises a hermetic dyeing tank 1, a hermetic expansion tank 2, a centrifugal pump 3, controlled by a motor 4, a fluid distribution device 5, and an auxiliary tank 6 for adding water. 'ingredients.
The fluid distributor 5 is multi-way, as seen in FIGS. 3 to 7. It comprises an elbow pipe 23 which can rotate around the axis of a pipe 9, on which the distributor 5 is mounted, the rotation of the pipe 23 making it possible to put the pipe 9 in communication with the 'one of three openings 24, 25 and 26, formed in the chamber of the distributor 5.
The expansion tank 2 is connected, by a pipe 7 with valve 8, to the inlet side of the centrifugal pump 3. The discharge side of the pump is connected, by the pipe 9, to the movable pipe 23 of the distributor. fluid 5. The openings 25 and 24 of the distributor 5 are in communication with the tank 1 respectively by pipes 22 and 22 '. Only the pipe 22 is visible in FIG. 1. The opening 26 (fig. 3 to 7) is connected to a pipe 10 and the lower part of the distributor chamber is connected to a pipe 11. The pipe 10 is a return pipe to the expansion tank 2 .
It comprises a valve 12. and an exhaust pipe 13 (not shown in figs. 3 to 7) with valve 14.
Line 11, which can be communicated with tank 1 via distributor 5, comprises a valve 15 and is connected to line 7 between valve 8 and the inlet side of pump 3.
A valve 16 of the expansion tank 2 allows the latter to be emptied. The pipe 23 of the distributor 5 is controlled by a handwheel 17.
The dye tank 1 and the expansion tank 2, which are hermetic, are connected by a connection 18 allowing the exchange of air between said tanks, the pressure balancing, etc. This connection 18 can be closed by a valve 19, while exhaust openings 20 and 21 make it possible to put these tanks in contact with the atmosphere.
The expansion tank 2 can also serve as a preservation tank. It is therefore possible to prepare the dyeing bath at high temperature there, the valves 8 and 12 being closed, as well as the purge valve 16.
While the bath is brought to the desired temperature in the expansion tank 2, the material to be treated can easily be placed in the dye tank 1 which is still at atmospheric pressure, while the expansion tank is brought to the surface. at a higher pressure as soon as the temperature of the bath exceeds the broth.
When the material to be treated is in the dye tank 1, it can be closed hermetically, then start the pump 3, while opening the valves 8 and 12, as well as the valve 19 of the air connection. , all the other valves being closed and the movable tube 23 of the fluid distributor 5 being in communication with the opening 24 or 25, as shown in FIG. 3 or in fig. 4. The high temperature processing can then begin.
The bath is sucked from the expansion tank 2 by the pump 3 and then passes through the line 9, the distributor 5 and one or the other of the lines 22 'and 22, into the dye tank 1, l 'air in the latter being expelled by the liquid towards the expansion tank 2 through connection 18. The bath then returns, through the other pipe 22 or 22', through the chamber of the distributor 5 and , finally, through line 10, in expansion tank 2, thus ensuring a continuous cycle.
By modifying the position of the movable tube 23 from the position of FIG. 3 to that of FIG. 4, or vice versa, the direction of circulation can be reversed.
It is possible, after treatment in the dye tank 1, to completely discharge the bath into the expansion tank 2. For this purpose, the valve 8 is closed and the valve 15 of the pipe 11 is open. The movable pipe 23 of the fluid distributor 5 is set in the position shown in FIG. 5, to discharge the pipe 9 into the pipe 10. As a result, the liquid is sucked by the pump 3, out of the tank 1, passing through the pipes 22 and 22 ', the distributor 5 and the pipe 11, and is discharged in line 9 to go to movable pipe 23 of distributor 5 and through line 10 to tank 2. During this delivery, the air from the latter tank passes through connection 18 in tank 1.
When the operation is finished, the valve 12 is closed as well as the valve 19 of the connection 18, to isolate the tank 2. The atmospheric pressure can then be brought back into the dye tank 1, by opening the valve 21. It is possible then open the lid of the tank 1 to examine the treated material.
If the dyeing or similar operation is completed, and we want to subject the material to any subsequent treatment, such as rinsing, diazotization, etc ..., and at the same time we want to keep the bath of dye which is in the expansion tank 2, the circulation through the material can take place, as shown in fig. 6 or in fig. 7, by one or the other of the pipes 22 or 22, the distributor 5, the pipe 11, the pump 3, the pipe 9, the movable pipe 23 and the other pipe 22 'or 22. The directions of circulation of the auxiliary air bath in tank 1, in fig. 6 and 7, are op posed.
Draining after treatment can be done through valve 14.
The additions tank 6, which is under pressure, makes it possible to add ingredients to the expansion tank 2, when the latter is at a pressure greater than the atmospheric pressure.
This add-on reservoir could also be constituted by an open reservoir, from which draws a small pump which injects the product into the tank 2, a check valve being arranged between the pump and said tank.
