Bracelet de montre La présente invention a pour objet un bra celet pour une montre munie d'anses pour la fixation du bracelet. Ce bracelet est applicable en particulier aux montres dont l'anse est cons tituée par deux cornes entre lesquelles est dis posée une barrette, cette barrette pouvant faire corps avec les cornes ou être amovible (bar rette à ressort). Ce bracelet ne nécessite, pour sa fixation à la montre, aucune retouche de la boîte et peut donc être monté en tout temps en lieu et place d'un bracelet ordinaire.
Selon l'invention, le bracelet se compose de deux branches élastiques arquées destinées à être fixées par l'une de leurs extrémités cha cune à l'une des deux anses de manière à pou voir enserrer élastiquement le poignet du por teur de la montre, ces branches comprenant chacune une lame arquée en acier dont l'extré mité devant être fixée à l'anse présente, près de son bord extrême destiné à venir prendre appui contre la carrure de la boîte, une gouttière transversale destinée à recevoir la barrette de l'anse.
Le dessin ci-joint représente, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution et une variante de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue de côté d'une montre munie d'un bracelet suivant l'invention. La fig. 2 est une vue partielle en plan d'une branche du bracelet, la boîte de montre à la quelle elle est fixée étant représentée en traits mixtes.
La fig. 3 est une vue en perspective de l'extrémité de la branche qui est destinée à être fixée à la boîte de montre.
La fig. 4 est une coupe selon la ligne 1-1 de la fig. 1, et la fig. 5 est une vue de profil d'une branche selon une variante.
Sur la fig. 1, on a représenté à gauche une branche 4 en entier, mais sans revêtement, et à droite une partie de cette branche avec revête ment. Chacune de ces branches 4 comprend une lame d'acier dont une extrémité est con formée de manière à pouvoir être adaptée à l'anse de la boîte de montre 1, cette anse étant constituée dans ce cas par une barrette à res sort 3 disposée entre deux cornes 2 (la corne antérieure a été supprimée pour que l'on puisse voir la position de l'extrémité de la lame 4).
Cette extrémité présente une partie 8 plus large que le corps de la lame, cette partie étant fa çonnée de manière à présenter, du côté du corps de la lame, une gouttière demi-cylindri- que 7 (voir en particulier la fig. 3) épousant la barrette 3 (voir fig. 1) et, du côté opposé, un tronçon plan venant buter avec son bord trans versal contre le boîtier 1. La forme de l'extré mité de ce tronçon dépend de la forme du boî tier et des anses ; son bord transversal est arrondi dans le cas présent, car on a supposé que la boîte est ronde.
Dans certain cas, il sera nécessaire de donner à ce tronçon une forme non plane afin qu'il s'adapte à la forme exté rieure de la carrure (voir par exemple fig. 5).
La lame 4 présente, comme on le voit à droite sur la fig, 1, un revêtement constitué par deux lanières de cuir, une supérieure 5 et l'au tre inférieure 6, cousues l'une à l'autre le long de leurs bords longitudinaux. La lanière infé rieure 6 se termine contre la gouttière 7 tandis que la lanière supérieure 5 dépasse le bord de la partie 8 et est rabattue par-dessus cette der nière et fixée par collage et/ou couture à l'autre lanière. La lanière supérieure 5 forme avec la gouttière 7 une sorte de boucle qui entoure la barrette 3 et maintient ainsi en place la bran che sur la barrette. L'extrémité de la partie 8 recouverte par la lanière 5 prend appui contre la carrure de la boîte de montre et empêche le corps de la branche correspondante de se ra battre vers l'extérieur.
La dimension et la forme des branches sont établies de manière que le bracelet enserre élastiquement le poignet du porteur de la montre.
Le revêtement 5/6 peut aussi être constitué par un fourreau en matière plastique synthéti que fermé à une extrémité et présentant à l'au tre extrémité une languette que l'on rabat autour de la partie 8 de la lame 4.
La fig. 5 montre une branche destinée à être forcée sur la barrette et présentant à cet effet une gouttière dont le profil est en arc de cercle ayant une ampleur supérieure à 180 et un diamètre égal à celui de la barrette. Une telle branche peut donc tenir d'elle-même sur la barrette, ce qui permet, si on le veut, de se passer d'un revêtement en cuir ou autre matière souple. Dans ce dernier cas, la lame 4 pourra être en acier inoxydable ou recouverte d'un dé pôt métallique protecteur : or, argent, etc. Les bracelets décrits peuvent être montés avec une extrême facilité sur les montres-bra celets, notamment sur les montres pour mes sieurs, et sont solides, durables et élégants.
On peut augmenter l'épaisseur de la branche en disposant un rembourrage entre la lame 4 et l'une au moins des lanières 5 et 6.

In fig. 1, there is shown on the left a branch 4 in its entirety, but without coating, and on the right a part of this branch with coating. Each of these branches 4 comprises a steel blade, one end of which is shaped so as to be able to be adapted to the handle of the watch case 1, this handle being constituted in this case by a res out strip 3 arranged between two horns 2 (the anterior horn has been removed so that the position of the tip of blade 4 can be seen).
This end has a part 8 which is wider than the body of the blade, this part being shaped so as to present, on the side of the body of the blade, a semi-cylindrical gutter 7 (see in particular FIG. 3). matching the bar 3 (see fig. 1) and, on the opposite side, a flat section abutting with its transverse edge against the housing 1. The shape of the end of this section depends on the shape of the housing and the handles; its transverse edge is rounded in this case, because we have assumed that the box is round.
In certain cases, it will be necessary to give this section a non-planar shape so that it adapts to the external shape of the middle part (see for example fig. 5).
The blade 4 has, as seen on the right in FIG, 1, a covering consisting of two leather straps, one upper 5 and the other lower 6, sewn to one another along their edges. longitudinal. The lower thong 6 ends against the gutter 7 while the upper thong 5 exceeds the edge of part 8 and is folded over the latter and fixed by gluing and / or sewing to the other thong. The upper strap 5 forms with the gutter 7 a kind of loop which surrounds the bar 3 and thus keeps the branch in place on the bar. The end of part 8 covered by the strap 5 bears against the middle part of the watch case and prevents the body of the corresponding branch from fighting outwards.
The size and shape of the branches are established so that the bracelet elastically encloses the wrist of the wearer of the watch.
The coating 5/6 can also consist of a synthetic plastic sheath closed at one end and having at the other end a tab which is folded back around part 8 of the blade 4.
Fig. 5 shows a branch intended to be forced onto the bar and having for this purpose a gutter whose profile is in an arc of a circle having a width greater than 180 and a diameter equal to that of the bar. Such a branch can therefore hold itself on the bar, which makes it possible, if desired, to do without a covering of leather or other flexible material. In the latter case, the blade 4 may be made of stainless steel or covered with a protective metallic deposit: gold, silver, etc. The straps described can be mounted with extreme ease on celet wristwatches, especially watches for my sisters, and are strong, durable and elegant.
The thickness of the branch can be increased by placing a padding between the blade 4 and at least one of the straps 5 and 6.
