Fig. 2 zeigt eine Ansicht von tunten hierzu.
Drum In the known drums, the heads of which are tensioned by means of a tensioning cable guided back and forth in a zickzacl @ shape between the upper and the sintered tensioning ring, unless there are special tensioning devices. the re-tensioning of the rope is laborious and also requires a certain agility on the part of the operator in order to ensure that the tensioning rope transmits the same axial tensile forces to the two tension rings at all of its pivot points.
As far as special clamping devices are provided, these are located in the area of the shell of the drum and are therefore visible when the drum is in use. This is undesirable for the reason that it disturbs the traditional appearance of the drum.
As a result, such special tensioning devices are not considered for traditional drums, but are also undesirable for drums in which this point of view would not play a role because of the aesthetic impairment which they impose on such a drum. Incidentally, even with the known tensioning devices of this type, there is still no guarantee that the tensioning rope has the same tension at all points, since these tensioning devices are individually regulated,
so that it is left to the operator's feeling whether the individual clamping devices are clamped more or less equally. The present invention aims to remedy these inadequacies and concerns a drum of the type mentioned at the beginning, which is characterized according to the invention in that on its underside at least part of the SpannseilLunlenkstel- len engages on one tendon and all tendons on one common men, under the drum base freely floating arranged counterbalance are anchored.
Since the abutment Letter is located on the drum bottom and the tension members, which are anchored to the abutment, can easily be arranged in full under the bottom, there is a guarantee that these parts are not visible when the drum is in use. In addition, since the abutment is freely floating, it automatically adapts to any inequalities in the tightening of the individual tendons by appropriately evading the relevant side of the larger tightening, which automatically compensates for the entire tensioning forces transmitted to the abutment is guaranteed.
Nothing stands in the way of anchoring all of the lower tension rope deflection points under intercalation th a tendon on the abutment. However, it has been shown that a practical design, in which only every second deflection point is anchored in this way, practically meets all the requirements for tension equalization,
since the deflection point, which is in each case between two such deflection parts, anchored in the lower hoop in the usual way, adapts sufficiently to the tension of the two adjacent deflection points.
The drawing shows a Ausführungsbei game of the subject invention.
1 shows a side view of the drum, on the left in section.
Fig. 2 shows a view of this tunten. The drum has in the usual way a sheet metal jacket 1, over the flanged edges of which the batter head 2 and the bottom skin 3 are stretched by their edge being guided around a winding ring 4 or 5, which is in an inner recess of the upper hoop 6 or sit under the hoop 7.
These recesses are open on the sides facing one another, and those at the tensioning rims 6, 7 are tensioned by a tensioning cable 8 guided back and forth between them in a ziekzaek- shape. The upper deflection points 9 of the tensioning rope 8 are anchored in the tensioning hoop 6 in the usual way, in that the tensioning rope is guided through corresponding bores at the deflection points through the tensioning hoop and around the upper edge of the tensioning hoop.
Every two adjacent cable strands are combined along the jacket by longitudinally displaceable tensioning groups 10, which are anchored in a friction-locked manner with respect to the cable strands.
Of the lower deflection points, only every second deflection point 11 is anchored directly in the internal tensioning hoop 7 in a manner analogous to all the upper turning points 9, in that the tensioning cable is passed through a bore in the tire and around the lower edge of the tire 7. The lower deflection points 12 located in between, on the other hand, each engage a tension member 13, which tension members are all anchored in a common abutment 14.
Each clamping member 13 is designed as an eyebolt, the eye 15 of which is located on your abutment 14 from the end facing away. The tensioning rope is tied through this eyelet, forming the unilinking points 12. The shaft. the ring roughness 13 is guided through a radial bore in the abutment 14 and anchored on the inside of the abutment by means of a clamping nut 16.
The clamping nut 16 is. designed as a normal hexagon nut, but can, contrary to the illustration in the drawing, also be designed as a wing nut for direct manual actuation. The two strands 17, 18 of the tensioning cable 8, each leading to a tensioning member 13, are guided directly next to one another in a corresponding notch around the lower edge of the lower tensioning hoop 7.
The arrangement is such that in the central position of the abutment 1.1 shown in FIG. 2, which is designed as a circular ring, all the clamping screw shafts lie radially. Correspondingly, the corresponding cable strands 17 and 18 are also symmetrical to the relevant axle.
To re-tension the tensioning cable 8, it is sufficient to regulate the nuts 7.6 accordingly, whereby the abutment 11, which is suspended freely by means of the tensioning elements 13 on the cable strands 17 and 75, is set according to an automatic compensation equal to the tension of all tensioning elements 13 .
The abutment 7.4 can therefore, depending on the respective existing conditions, deviate from the illustrated, to the drum aelise zen tric position, with the rope strands 17 and 18, at least. For some of the deflection points, assume a correspondingly different position relative to the drum axis without that this changes the principle of the self-acting tension compensation for the entire th rope strands 17, 18 somewhat.
Contrary to the illustration in the drawing, hook bolts can also be used for the tendons instead of eyebolts, which allow the cable strands 17, 18 to be hooked in easily.
Furthermore, the cable strands 17, 18 can also be fixed laterally above the tire 7 in a different way than by notches. In addition, at least one of the strands 17, 18 can be passed through the tire 7 through a corresponding bore.
