An den. abgewinkelten Teilen 2 der Stange 1 ist je ein aus Draht gebildeter Federbügel 7 mit seinen Schenkelenden 8: schwenkbar an geschlossen, wobei dessen beide Bügelschenkel ;
Ski rack for cars The invention relates to a ski rack for cars, which is set up for attachment to car roofs.
In previously known such ski racks, it was customary to fix the same on the car roof by using straps or straps with buckles or clips or by screw connections vorzuneh men. These types of attachment are all very cumbersome and put to. Some precautions have to be taken beforehand on the roof of the car concerned, so that attaching the ski racks is a relatively high effort.
The purpose of the invention is now to avoid the disadvantages mentioned. The ski carrier according to the invention is characterized in that a clamping lever lock is arranged at each of the two ends of a rod, which has a hook-shaped part for grasping the roof edge of the particular hook-shaped part with which the carrier rod is intended to be detachably attached to the roof of the car .
With these clamping lever locks, the ski carrier should be able to be attached to the car dacha in a simple and reliable manner.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the ski carrier according to the invention are shown. Show it: .
1 shows a partial view of the ski carrier according to the first embodiment in a position fastened on a car roof, FIG. 1 shows a partial view of the ski carrier according to FIG. 1 obliquely from above.
F'ig. 3, a partial view of the ski carrier according to the second embodiment in a position fastened on a car roof.
In the fig. 1 and 21, 1 denotes a rod with a tubular profile which is to be laid across the car roof and has angled parts 2 on both sides and is intended for 'carrying the skis. The angled parts 2i run out into flattened parts 3, on each of which a transverse rod 4 intended for insertion into the water channel 6 provided on the car roof 5 is provided.
To the. angled parts 2 of the rod 1 is each a spring clip 7 formed from wire with its leg ends 8: pivotally closed, both of which legs;
9 each form two convolutions 111 in their middle parts, in order to then converge on my arch part 12. Axle bolts 13, one in cross-section U-shaped; clamping lever 14, are rotatably arranged in the turns of the central parts, so that the same can be pivoted with respect to the spring clip 7. In the tensioning lever 14, a pin 1 is rotatably mounted offset to the axle bolts, the same having a threaded hole into which a threaded bolt 16 is screwed.
Its free end is rigidly connected to a hook-shaped part 17, on the inner surface of which a covering 18 made of leather is applied. The hook-shaped part 17 is intended to encompass the water gutter 6 on the car roof 5.
On the rods 1 of the ski carrier hooks 19 are attached to hold the skis, into which retaining straps 20 made of rubber with their handles 21 can also be hung on the rods 1.
The use and mode of operation of the described ski carrier is as follows: To attach the:
Ski rack with the 'rods 1 across the ALito roof 5 ge places with the crossbars 4 in the country. two-sided water channels ss arranged, with the clamping lever locks in the open state,
that is to say that each tensioning lever 14 is pivoted about the axle bolts 13 counterclockwise by approximately 180q in relation to the position shown in FIG. In this position of the clamping lever 14, the hook-shaped part 17 extends beyond the water channel 6. The distance between the hook of the part 17 and the underside of the gully 6 can in
open state of the closure can be adjusted by VerdTehimg the threaded bolt 16 in the pin 15.
When the closure is closed or the tensioning lever 14 is pivoted clockwise, the 'part 1' 7 moves upwards until it finally rests on the underside of the channel 16.
In this position of the part 1'7, the clamping lever 14 is located at ent speaking. Adjustment of the threaded bolt 16 shortly before its dead center position. When white direct pivoting of the lever, 14 towards the dead center, the spring clip 7 is now deformed so that the axial distance between the bolt's. 113 and the .Stab 4 reduced.
The force to deform the spring clip 7 must be brought to the (tensioning lever 14 until its dead center position is exceeded. The force released by the relaxation of the spring clip 7 brings the 'tensioning lever fully into its' closed position The attachment of the skis on the ski carrier is done with the aid of the retaining straps 20, as already described.
The ski rack shown in Figure 3 differs only with respect to the support of its rods 1 on the car roof from that shown in Figs. Each support rod is provided here on both sides with two rubber bases 22 by means of which it is supported on the car roof. Otherwise, this embodiment corresponds to the previously described enclosed.
