Feed water system for steam generators The invention relates. on a feed water system for steam generators with several centrifugal pumps.
Particularly in the case of large centrifugal pumps, care must be taken to ensure that the pump is not already delivering when it is shut down, since otherwise the drive unit of the pump would be overloaded.
Now, however, a feed pump is usually only provided with a valve that regulates the flow of the working fluid in such a way that it opens further if a lack of working fluid is detected at one of the supply pumps located behind the valve.
So when the pump is switched off. is. and does not deliver, the valve would be fully open, since the lack of work equipment would be displayed at the measuring point. At the moment of switching, the pump unit should already be delivering and could suffer damage. On the other hand, a pump must not run at nominal speed for a long time without pumping, since it would otherwise be heated too much.
For this reason, the valve connected to a pump has hitherto been closed with a manual adjustment device before the pump is switched on. After the pump had run up to the nominal speed, normal control was enabled again by actuating the manual adjustment device.
However, these measures cannot be carried out with the precision - fluid reliability, which is particularly necessary for large pump systems. Manual setting of the valves is no longer acceptable, especially with pump sets that can be switched on or off automatically.
In order to avoid these disadvantages, the invention proposes a feed water system with a flow channel connected downstream of the pumps and a switching device influencing this flow element,
which, when all pumps are shut down, brings the flow element into the closing position and when one of the pumps is started, the same thing opens with a time delay.
In this way, the pump units are protected from overload at the moment of switching on and from excessive heating after the pump has run out, regardless of the position of the other valves in the pipe system. In particular, the pump can be quickly and fully automatically switched on or switched over without difficulty.
An embodiment of the subject invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, in which a S.feisewasserpum- pump system for the operation of a steam boiler is shown schematically.
With an electrical network 1 is a. Motor via the Sehalter 3 and the line 4 and a motor 5 via the .Sehalter 6 and the line 7 connected. The motor 2 drives a pump 8 and the motor 5 drives a pump 9. The pump 8 sucks in working medium from the feed water tank 10 through the line 11 via the valve 12 and pumps it into the feed line 15 via the non-return flap 13 and the valve 14.
In the same way, the pump 9 sucks working fluid from the feed water tank 10 through the line 11 via the valve 16 and pumps it via the non-return valve 17 and the valve 18 also into the. Feed line 15.
Of course, even more pumps could be connected in parallel. In. the feed line 15 has the differential pressure control valve 19 and the feed valve 20.
The valve 19 is. controlled by the pressure drop in the valve 20, while the valve 2-0 receives its control pulses normally from measuring points at the end of the following heating surface. From the feed valve 20 arrives .das working fluid in the steam generator 21, which it leaves as superheated steam. The steam drives example, a turbine 22 with a generator 23 and relax see in the condenser 24,
from deal .from it flows back into the feed water tank 10.
From the valve 20 two lines 2ss provided with throttles 25 are laid to the differential pressure receiver 27, the control piston 28 of which, under the action of the force of a spring 29 and the differential pressure from the valve 20, the outflow line 30 or inflow line 31 with a fluid pressure network not shown the <RTI
ID = "0002.0049"> Impulse line 32 connects. This line 32 leads to the magnetic control valve 33 and in operation - with the magnet not energized and the inflow line 31, which also belongs to the aforementioned fluid pressure network, is closed - through it to the connecting line 34,
which opens into the control slide 35. The controlled pressure pulse acts against the force of the spring 37 on the piston 36, through which the inflow line 31 "or, if the force of the spring 37 predominates, the outflow line 30" is connected to the control line 40,
which leads to the servomotor 41 of the valve 19. The piston 42 of the servo motor 41 rises or falls and thereby actuates the valve 19. The line 31 ″ also belongs to the fluid pressure network already mentioned.
Independent of the automatic regulation, the valve 19 can be opened or closed with the aid of the manual adjustment device 43.
If both pumps 8 and 9 are out of operation, switches 3 and 6 of their drive motors are open, but on the other hand the auxiliary switches 44 and 45 are closed. As a result, the magnetic coil 46 is connected to voltage via the transformer 47 and pulls the control piston 48 of the magnetic control slide 33 upwards, the impulse line 32 being shut off and the inflow line 31 'of the fluid pressure network (not shown) with the line 34 is connected,
so that a Sehl.iessimpuls acts on the valve 19.
In the embodiment of the invention shown, the control piston 48 is braked in one direction, namely during the downward stroke, by a hydraulic deceleration device 50 operating according to the known shock absorber principle, whereby it is sufficient that the control piston 48 when the Klotoren 2 and 5 is pulled up immediately and the inflow duct 31 'is released, however when one of the pump motors 2 is switched on,
5 drops slowly, so that the pump in question can run up to nominal speed before valve 19 opens.
The normal regulating impulses from the line 32 now act on the flow element 19, which has opened, for example, one of the pumps 8, 9 with a time delay after being switched on. If the second pump is later put into operation, then it is no further control intervention in the feed line 15 necessary, because the non-return valves 13, 17 remain closed as long as
than the pressure generated by the associated pump 8 or 9, it is lower than the pressure in the feed line 15.
The system according to the invention is particularly advantageous to use where. an automatic switchover of the pump system is necessary. If, for example, one considers pump 8 as the regular pump for feeding the boiler, and pump 9 is available as a standby pump in the event that pump 8 fails,
so when the pump 8 is switched off, the auxiliary switch 44 would close. Since the switch 45 is still closed, the solenoid control slide 33 would be actuated and the throughflow element 19 would close.
Immediately thereafter, the pump 9 can be switched on automatically, possibly by a relay arrangement (not shown), the steps already described taking place after a pump has been switched on. Normal operation can therefore be restored within a very short period of time without the pumps or their drive machines being damaged.
The throughflow element 20 is regulated by a measuring point (not shown), preferably behind one of the stimulating surfaces of the steam generator 21. A certain amount of feed water should be clearly associated with each measured value.
However, since the amount of feed water flowing through valve 20 depends not only on the released cross section, but also on the pressure in feed line 15, there is a.
unambiguous assignment of measured value and feed water quantity is only possible when the first throughflow element 19, which is installed to protect the pumps 8, 9, is also automatically set during operation of at least one of these pins,
that the pressure drop in the throughflow element 20 is kept invariable. A constant pressure drop is sought after. A slight non-uniformity of this pressure drop, which can hardly be avoided for design and control reasons, can, however, easily be accepted.
If in normal operation at a certain size of the flow cross-section in the valve 20, the amount of fluid flowing through this is lower, for example, the pressure difference acting on the control piston 28 is also reduced and the spring 29 can relax. In order to.
the piston M lowers and connects the discharge line 30 via the lines 32, 34 with the control slide 35,
the piston 36 of which is pressed down by the spring 37 and connects the drain line 30 ″ to the servomotor 41 via the line 40. As a result, the piston 42 sinks and opens: the valve 19 more strongly than before.
Connected feed water volume and the desired Dmckabfa41 occurs again at valve 20. In particular, the valve @ 19 would open completely if, with the valves 8, 9 switched off and, accordingly, when the 1) return difference in the valve 20 disappeared, no special turning was provided for closing the valve 19, as described.
Conversely, the valve 19 would be closed further if the pressure difference at the valve 20 were greater.
The feed water system shown is only to be assessed as an exemplary embodiment of the invention. For example, the entire control system could work electrically and the switching element 33 could be a relay.
On the other hand, for example, the electrical auxiliary circuit with the solenoid coil 46 could be a hydraulic circuit with which the piston 48 is actuated. The pumps are also needed.
Not to be coupled with electric motors, they can. also be driven by turbines-. In addition, the impulse for switching on the pump can be made at other points than the electrical main switches. removed, for example on the coupling,
in particular on a hydraulic coupling between a turbine and a pump. Also the delay device for the: switching element 33 can without difficulties in the electrical auxiliary circuit, z. B, can be offset by installing a delay relay.
