Description

Electric motor with shaft running in ball bearings For driving household machines, e.g. B. cooling machines, noiseless, lukewarm electric motors are required. From this (round one built such motors with sliding ligers, because. The ball bearings make too much ('excuse that Irish can use them in the household.

For operational safety reasons, however, the ball bearing motor is preferred to the plain bearing motor. The present invention aims to provide a means to prevent the transmission of ball bearing noise to the environment.

(According to the invention, a layer of sound-absorbing material is arranged between the ball bearings and the end shield.

This eye can be made of rubber, preferably synthetic crummi. The sight can also have longitudinal extensions running in the circumferential direction, since the transmission of noise from the ball bearing to the bearing plate becomes even less.

For the assembly of the ball bearings it is advisable not to arrange the layer directly on your ball bearing, but to insert a metal ring between this layer and the ball bearing or to hold the layer between an inner and an outer metal ring.

In the accompanying drawings, two exemplary embodiments of the subject of the invention are each provided in a section is. According to Fig. 1, a ring 3 made of sound-absorbing material, for example, is between the end shield 1 and the ball bearing 2 seated on the shaft of the electric motor. B. made of rubber, in particular synthetic rubber, arranged.

As shown in FIG. 2, the ring 3 is held between an outer metal ring 4 and an inner metal ring 5.
