23 aufweisen, an welchen umlaufende Teile 18 bzw. Die elektrische Maschine besitzt also hier gegenläufige Rotoren.
Hydroelectric machine system with counter-rotating impellers The invention relates to a hydroelectric machine system with a hydraulic machine that can be used as a turbine and pump, which has two axially flow-through impellers with opposite directions of rotation and in which the blades are arranged one behind the other in the same channel leading to the working medium at least one of these wheels are adjustable.
In such systems, it is possible to use the hydraulic machine as a turbine and as a pump by adjusting the blades accordingly. In order to adapt the angle of attack of the blade profile to the direction of the relative inflow velocity which changes with the radius, a twisting of the blade is usually provided in such a way that the blade profile is inclined flatter against the circumferential direction is, the greater the distance from the axis.
If curved profiles are used for the blades, the concave profile side must be directed towards the inlet side of the wheel when operated as a turbine, but against the outlet side when operated as a pump. The change can be achieved by turning the blade. However, the twist only remains correct if the blade is turned by approximately 180, that is. so that the leading edge and trailing edge of the shovel are interchanged.
If, on the other hand, the blade were only rotated so far that the leading edge would remain axially on the same side of the wheel, the result would be an incorrectly running twist, as the outer profiles now become steeper towards the circumferential direction. would lie than the inner profiles.
Through the invention. now the aim is to obtain a correct flow against the blade in all profile sections, both when operating as a pump and when operating as a turbine. For this purpose, in a hydroelectric machine system of the type described above, according to the invention, the blade profiles of the two impellers are symmetrically formed in coaxial with the machine cylindri's sections with respect to an axis perpendicular to the skeleton line.
This makes it possible to flow onto the profile equally favorably in both directions, which enables the transition from operation as a turbine to operation as a pump in one or the other direction of flow, without the blade being twisted the wrong way. to get a loss of efficiency.
In the accompanying drawings, various embodiments of the hydroelectric machine system according to the inven tion are shown. They show: Fig. 1 an axial:
Longitudinal section through the machine set of such a system, FIG. 2 a schematic sketch of the hydro-electric machine system with the machine set shown in FIG. 1, FIGS. 3 to 6 each a further example, FIG. 7 the design and position of the blade grids of the two wheels of the first example in a cylindrical section, and FIGS. 8 to 11 further blade grids.
In the Ma machine set of a hydroelectric machine system shown in Fig. 1, two counter-rotating impellers 2 and 21 are arranged in a pipe 1, which forms a channel leading the working medium. The impeller 2 has a hub 3 which is rotatably arranged on a stationary axle 4 and has blades 5 inserted rotatably. The axle 4 sits in hub caps 6, 61, which are supported on the tube 1 by struts 7, 71.
The blades 5 are connected to a servomotor piston 10 via levers 8 and tabs 9. By means of lines 11, 12, pressure medium can be directed to pressure chambers 13, 14 located on both sides of the servomotor piston or be carried away from them. By supplying pressure medium to one or the other of the two spaces, an adjustment of the servomotor piston 10 is effected in the axial direction, and the connections with the blades 5 are arranged so that the Selhauüeln are rotated during this axial adjustment of the servomotor piston.
The running wheels 2 and 21 each have an outer ring 22 and 23, on each of which a rotating part 15, 151 is arranged, which represents the rotor of an electrical machine with stator 16 and 161, respectively.
A regulating barque for the blades of the impeller 21 is not shown. However, this impeller has the same regulating device as the impeller 2.
Since each wheel is rotatably arranged on the fixed axle 4, the two wheels run at mechanically independent speeds. The running wheels are only electrically coupled with respect to their rotational speed if the electrical machines are connected to the same network.
Fig. 7 shows the formation of the blade profiles of the two impellers 2, 21 of this example in coaxial cylindrical sections with the machine axis, under different operating conditions. The arrows a indicate the direction of rotation of the wheels during Pum penbetrieb and arrows b indicate the direction of rotation during turbine operation. The arrows c and d relate to the direction of flow, namely c for pump operation and d for turbine operation. The upper profiles belong to wheel 2, the lower ones to wheel 21.
According to Fig. 7, the profiles of the show blades of the two wheels with 29 and 291 are designated. They have straight skeleton lines 30 and 301 and are symmetrical both with respect to their longitudinal axis coinciding with the skeleton line and also with respect to the transverse axis 31 and 311 perpendicular thereto. FIG. 8 differs from FIG. 7 only in the direction of flow, but the blade profiles are the same.
With these profile shapes, which have the same shaped inflow and outflow sides, both turbine and pump operation can be carried out in both flow directions. reach almost the same profile position. A blade adjustment is essentially only necessary in that area in which the angle of incidence of the profiles to the flow has to change under the various operating conditions.
The small adjustment range allows a structurally simple design of the adjustment mechanism.
In such a system, the surfaces in contact with the fluid are expediently arranged symmetrically with respect to the center plane between the impellers, as shown in FIG. The center plane between the two running wheels 2 iuid 21 goes. through the line A-A and stands. perpendicular to the plane of the drawing. The plant has. Inlets or outlets 17, 171 for the flow, which are arranged symmetrically with respect to this central plane. and are suitable for both directions of flow.
In Fig. 3 a system is shown in which the wheels 2 and 21 have outer rims 22 and 23, on which revolving parts 18 and 181 are arranged, the revolving part of one impeller forming part of the primary part of an electrical Ma machine and the non-rotating part of the other impeller forms part of the secondary part of the same electrical machine. The electric machine has rotors rotating in opposite directions here.
In the system according to FIG. 4, two opposing wheels 19 and 191 of a hydraulic machine shafts 20, 201 are assigned, which lines are guided in opposite directions from the machine housing. Via the shaft 20, the running wheel 19 is coupled to an electric machine 21, and the running wheel 191 is connected to an electric machine 211 via the shaft 201.
In the arrangements according to FIGS. 5 and. 6, the opposing impellers are assigned shafts which are guided out of the machine housing coaxially in the same direction. These arrangements are advantageous in terms of sealing the flow space to the outside.
In FIG. 5, one of the two oppositely rotating impellers 22 and 221 is assigned a hollow shaft 23 and the other is assigned a shaft 231 running in the hollow shaft 23 and coaxially to it. These two are coupled to the rotating parts 24, 241 with an electrical machine rotating in opposite directions, one of the two parts 24 and 241 representing the primary part and the other representing the secondary part of this electrical machine.
In the system according to FIG. 6, two running wheels 25 and 251 rotating in opposite directions of a hydraulic machine are assigned to a hollow shaft 26 or a shaft 261 extending in this. The hollow shaft 26 is coupled to the rotor 27 of an electrical machine 28. In contrast, the inner shaft 261 penetrates the rotor 27 of the aforementioned electrical machine 28 and is coupled to the rotor 271 of a second electrical machine 281. The blade grids according to FIGS. 9 and 10 have in cylindrical sections blade profiles 32 and 321, which have curved skeleton lines 33 and 331 and form curved profiles. These profiles are just if formed symmetrically with respect to an axis 34 and 341 perpendicular to the skeleton line. In terms of flow, they are more favorable than the profiles with a straight skeleton line.
However, if pump operation or turbine operation is to be possible in both directions of flow, the blades must be able to be rotated by at least 180, otherwise the curvature for one direction of flow is the wrong way round. The blades according to FIGS. 9 and 10 are designed in this way. FIG. 10 shows the profile position for the opposite direction of flow to that in FIG. 9.
The blades are rotated by approximately 180, so that their curvature is directed towards the opposite side.
In special cases it can be sufficient to equip only one of the two counter-rotating impellers with adjustable blades. The profiles of the non-adjustable blades are then expediently formed in such a way that they have straight skeleton lines in cylindrical sections and are symmetrical with respect to their longitudinal axis and the transverse axis perpendicular thereto, and the profiles of the adjustable blades so
that they have arched skeleton lines in zy-lindrisehen sections and: are symmetrical with respect to an axis perpendicular to the skeleton line.
In Fig. 11, finally, a cylindrical section is shown through the blades of two running wheels running in opposite directions, in which the ratio of the lattice pitch to the profile length is different for the two wheels.
The blades of the one wheel have profiles 35 of a length L, which are arranged in a grid with a T pitch. The blades of the other wheel, however, have profiles 351 of a length L1 in a grid arrangement with a pitch T1. The impeller with the blades 351 is more vulnerable to cavitation and flow separation than the other impeller. The division T1 is smaller than T, whereas L1 is equal to L. Consequently, the ratio T1: L1 is smaller than the ratio T: L.
Blade blades of the same shape with the same curved, symmetrical blade profiles are selected for both wheels. This results in a simplification in manufacture. The difference in the ratio of the lattice pitch to the profile length results. from the choice of different pitches, i.e. different numbers of blades for the two wheels. However, the length of the profile 351 could, for example, also be selected to be greater than that of the profile 35 with the same division with the same division, or both the division and the profile length could also be changed.
By designing the blades with a different ratio of the pitch to the profile length for the two wheels, consideration can be given to the fact that the two impellers work under different flow conditions, so that the security against cavitation and flow separation will be different. The impeller that is more at risk with regard to cavitation and flow separation is then designed in such a way that the blade profiles have a smaller ratio of the pitch to the profile length in cylindrical sections.
Such designs are of part before if only one operation in a single flow direction is optionally provided as a turbine or a pump, or if the machine system for turbine operation in one direction of flow and for pump operation in the other direction of flow is be true. When the direction of flow changes, the direction of rotation of the running wheels also changes, as can be seen from FIG. Pivoting the blades through 180 is not necessary in this case.
