Control device on a machine tool It has already been proposed to equip machine tools with an electrical Steue approximate device in which control pulses are used, which are characterized by under different frequencies. The control pulses switch organs through which the associated actuation devices of the machine are controlled. This type of control offers the possibility to record the different control pulses and to use the recording medium to automatically execute the machine's sequence of operations as often as desired. to repeat.
Compared to the fully automatic machines for machine tools that have become known up to now, this type of control is particularly distinguished by the ability to set up and change over quickly and by convenient and versatile adaptability to any work sequence. In addition, it is no longer necessary to set up a supply of tools. Tool manufacture is also fundamentally simplified.
For the above control device for the application of control pulses of different frequencies, manually adjustable controls are provided for actuation of the frequency-sensitive organs. The reliability of the control therefore depends crucially on the operator's attention. The present invention seeks to improve this control device.
The control device according to this invention is characterized in that the control is set up so that the machine can be operated by hand or by a sensor that scans the contours of a template and, depending on this, a contact arrangement assigned to it, or via a device automatically controlled who can, in which the switching pulses for the operation of the machine are recorded, which pulses sit at different frequencies and influence frequency-dependent organs for controlling the machine.
An embodiment of the object of the invention is explained in the drawing in connection with a possible application speed in milling machines, wherein the workpiece to be machined requires machining over its entire circumference. It shows: Fig. 1 a copy router in perspective, Fig. 2 the front view and partial sectional view of the tool support on a larger scale, Fig. 3 the switching scheme for fully automatic table toggling of the template with four different sensor movements and a magnetically actuated changeover roller, Fig. 4 in a schematic representation of a template, the four scanning directions and the corresponding command positions for scanning and Fig.
5 a table with information about the scanning directions of the sensor and the positions of the relays.
1 shows a milling machine in which the swivel or articulated arm 2 is rotatably mounted on the machine column 1. The rotation or pivoting is caused by a motor 3 attached to the arm 2, which can be coupled ge via a (not shown) magnetic reversing clutch with a worm 4, which can be rotated by a handwheel H1 and with the disconnected magnetic clutch the column 1 attached worm wheel 5 is engaged. Depending on the setting of the reversing clutch, the motor 3 or, depending on the direction of rotation of the handwheel H2, causes the arm 2 to pivot in or counterclockwise direction.
The arm 2 carries a support 6, the displacement of which is effected by the motor 7, also with the intermediation of a magnetic reversing clutch (not shown), which, depending on their activation, the displacement of the support from the Ma machine column 1 away or in the direction of Machine column 1 conveyed out. Instead of the motor 7, the shift can also be done manually using the handwheel H2.
As FIG. 2 shows, a motor 8 which drives the milling cutter 9 is rigidly attached to the support 6. At the lower end or the lower end shield of the motor 8, a ring 10 is fastened, in which a shell 12, which is drawn in in the shape of a downward ring, is gimbaled through the intermediary of an intermediate ring 11. On the annular part of the shell serving as a sensor sleeve 13 is attached to an exchangeable bar, which surrounds the shaft 14 of the milling cutter 9 at a distance.
The shell 12 is connected by means of the arms 15 around the motor 8 with a sliding pin 16, the tip of which engages the conically recessed end of a pressure pin 17 and, through the intermediary of this pressure pin, the deflection of the sensor onto a contact system housed in the housing 18 transmits. At the height of the sensor 13 the template 19 corresponding to the workpiece to be manufactured is milled when copying.
As can be seen in more detail in the housing 18 of FIG. 3, the pressure pin 17 is mounted vertically so that it slides up and down when the sensor is pivoted out. As soon as the pressure pin 17 is pushed upwards, the contact lever 20, which is mounted rotatably about the axis 20a, moves, so that the contact 22a is opened. With an even stronger deflection of the sensor, the contact lever 20 is turned even more and finally the contact 22b is closed.
If the sensor moves a stronger deflection again, the contact lever 21 is finally swiveled out, thereby opening the contact 22c. If the sensor is swiveled further out of the central position, contact 22d is closed. The Kontaktsy stone of the control device shown has five positions, which are assigned five command positions of the sensor and five different working states of the machine.
Fig. 3 shows the circuit arrangement of a copy router to be described here as an embodiment. The basic work mode of this copy router should first be specified.
A milling cutter 9 with a drive motor 8 of the structure shown in FIG. 2 is attached to the support 6 of the machine shown in FIG. 1. The support 6 sits back and forth movable on the milling arm 2, which can be rotated around the column 1 ge. The rotation of the milling arm around the column 1 can be done by the motor 3 or by hand using the handwheel Hl via the worm 4. The displacement of the support 6 on the milling arm can be done by the motor 7 or by hand using the handwheel H2.
The handwheels enable the normal milling of a workpiece. The electromotive drive allows, as will be shown in more detail below, milling according to a template or a model. In addition, the copy milling machine should allow automatic milling without a template or model. For this purpose, a Aufzeiehnungs- and playback device is seen before, which can record the pulses for the switching operations for the automatically repeated milling process and play them again as required.
In order to be able to use as simple a device as possible for recording and playback of the control pulses, different frequencies are used for the control pulses that come from a generator rotating at a constant speed or corresponding electronic oscillation circuits. The recording and reproducing device can be switched from the position for recording to the position for reproduction and vice versa. When recording, the control pulses that the working machine z. B. be fed by scanning a template through the sensor, recorded, and after switching to playback, these pulses are read from the device again and fed to the frequency-dependent organs.
Due to the structure indicated, the milling machine can be controlled either by hand, with a template or with the recording and playback device.
The automatic control of the milling machine by means of a template or the display and playback device is made possible by the circuit shown in FIG. 3. As described above in connection with FIG. 2, the sensor 13 can scan a template 19, whereby a slide pin 16 is moved via the shell 12 and the arms 15, which arrangement 20 to 22 adjusts the pressure pin 17 of a switch assembly housed in a housing 18. As can be seen from FIG. 3, the upper end of the pressure pin 17 rests against the pivotable double-armed lever 20 under the action of the spring 20b.
This lever 20 and a further pivotable lever 21 are shown in FIG. 3 in their normal position. In this position, the two contacts 22a and 22e arranged in the housing are closed and the two contacts 22b and 22d which are seen further before are open. The lower part of the contact 22b is attached to the lever 21 in an electrically insulated manner. The housing 18 is connected to the pole N1 of a Nie derspannungsnetzes Ni, P1, whose pole P1 is connected to the contacts 22a, 22b, 22c and 22d via the coils of relays 23, 24, 25 and 26, respectively.
When the operating circuits are switched on, the coils of the relays 23 and 25 flow through the coils of the relays 23 and 25 for the position shown in Fig. 3 of the contact arrangement in the housing 18, which corresponds to the switch position I of the sensor, since the contacts 22a and 22e in the relay circuits are closed are. The relays 23 and 25 pick up as a result. The normally open contacts 23a, 23b, 23c and 25a are closed, while the normally closed contacts 23d and 25b are opened. The circuit of a holding relay 27 is closed by the working contact 23a, so that the working contacts 27z, 27b, 27c are also bridged.
The normally open contact 23b closes the circuit of a switching magnet 28a, which rotates a switch 29 designed as a roller when it responds by one switching step in the counterclockwise direction. In the first switching step z. B. the contact designated as group A cover the roller of the switch in Fig. 3, seen in direction n, 1 from right to left to the pole row 30 so that the magnetic coupling 7a via the normally open contact 27b. of the motor 7 (Fig. 1) is switched on and the support 6 experiences a shift on the milling arm.
The circuit of the Mo sector 7 is chosen so that the direction of movement of the support 6 in the direction of the machine column 1 goes away.
It is assumed in advance that this movement corresponds to the direction of movement that corresponds to the direction I in Fig. 4, which will be explained in more detail later and which is intended to illustrate the process of scanning a template 19, which corresponds to the line at A, which is the corresponding roller position of the switch 29 indicates is indicated. The arrow indicated at A indicates - this is also simply given here in advance - the direction of the movement of the sensor against the template. This arm movement continues until the sensor hits the template and thereby causes its own deflection.
In the given position of the contact arrangement with the movement of the sensor, a circuit of a multiple frequency generator 31 leading to the frequency F1 is closed by the normally open contact 23c. In a corresponding manner, the work contacts 27e and 25a close the circuits of the multiple frequency generator 31 which carry the frequencies F2, F3.
The circuits carrying the various frequencies are connected in parallel to the pulse generator 33 of an electromagnetic recording device 34 via a switch 32 according to FIG. 3, so that the frequencies F1, F2 and F3 are recorded as long as the Position of the contacts within the housing 18 does not change anything.
If now, due to the deflection of the pin 16 in the switch position TI, the contact 22a is opened, the relay 23 is de-energized. Since the normally open contact 23c opens the circuit carrying the frequency F1, further recording is limited to the frequencies F2 and F3. About the now closed normally closed contact 23d and the normally closed contact 26a, the elec tromagnetic clutch 3a is now energized, which causes the motor 3 (Fig. 1) to pivot the arm 2 counterclockwise. Be the direction of movement when pivoting is perpendicular to the direction of movement of the support 6 on the milling arm and is subsequently marked as a movement in direction III.
Here results from the movement in the direction I (Fig. 4, A) and the movement in the direction III, a composite movement of the milling cutter in the direction II (in Fig. 4 at A). In the switch position II for the movement in the direction II, the hitch lungs 3a and 7a are turned on and thus result in the resulting movement II of the support carrying the sensor.
The next switching change occurs when the contact 22b closes, the relay 24 picks up and by opening its normally closed contact 24a interrupts the circuit of the holding relay 27, so that the holding relay 27 drops out and in turn interrupts the circuit carrying the frequency F2. At the same time, the circuit of the magnetic coupling 7a is interrupted, that is to say the coupling 7a, is switched off so that only the coupling 3a remains in operation. The drawing is limited in this switching position to the frequency F3 and the movement of the sensor takes place in the direction III (Fig. 4 at A).
When the pin 16 is deflected even further, the contact 22c is opened, the relay 25 being de-energized and the recording of the frequency F3 ceases. The clutch 3a remains switched on in this switching position, at the same time the clutch 7b of the motor 7 is switched on via the rest contact 25b, with the result that the support 6 moves in the direction of the machine column, that is, in the direction V, moves. As a result of the simultaneous action of the couplings 3a and 7b, there is also a resulting movement here, namely in the direction IV (Fig. 4 at _4).
With the strongest deflection of the pin 16 that follows, the contact 22d is closed, so that the relay 26 picks up and the circuit of a magnet 28b at contact 26b and the circuit carrying the frequency F4 of the multiple frequency generator 31 closes at contact 26c . The last-mentioned circuit is also via the switch 32 to: the pulse generator 33 of the recording device 34 is connected. The circuit of the clutch 3a is interrupted by the relay 26 or its contact 26a. Therefore only the clutch 7b remains switched on.
The movement of the sensor takes place in direction V, which is opposite to the approach. The magnet 28b actuated at the strongest Aaslenken actuates a stepping mechanism to switch the roller switch 29 counterclockwise, in Fig. 3 in the direction n2, i.e. opposite to the magnet 28a, and thereby separates the contact surfaces of group A from the pole row 30 which group D will be connected.
As can be understood from FIG. 3, when the pin 16 returns from a steering position to the normal vertical position, the switching state shown in FIG. 3 is produced again, so that the magnet 28a turns the switch 29 by one switching step to group B. This adjustment by the magnet 28a will be the rule in .dem is the model (no back milling).
The adjustment of the changeover switch 29 to position B now has the consequence that the directions of movement described above in connection with the positions I to V of the switch arrangement are no longer in the directions given in connection with position A of the changeover switch. that is, the direction of movement I is no longer in the direction A indicated in Fig. 4, but the corresponding direction is the direction of B in Fig. 4, so compared to the illustration given above for the switch position A at 90 clockwise turned.
The positions I to V of the sensor ent speak when the switch 29 is in position B, the directions of movement of the milling cutter indicated in FIG. 4 at B. The movement of the sensor therefore goes in direction I and is achieved by turning the milling arm clockwise. For this purpose, the sensor measured in the upright position, as described above, now switch on the clutch 3b via the normally open contact 27b instead of the magnetic clutch 7a as in the position A of the switch. As can be seen from Fig. 3, in the position of the switch on B, this condition is met. This relationship is shown in Table 5. There I, II etc. denote the directions of movement as shown in FIG. 4, and A, B etc. denote the switch positions of the switch 29.
At the intersection you can read off the couplings that are switched on for the combinations of direction of movement and switch position. For example, as explained above for the movement in the direction I parallel to A in Fig. 1, the hitch be 7a, but for the movement in the direction I parallel to B, the clutch 3b.
From what has been said so far, the relationship between the sensor position, switching state of the switch device, switch position and direction of movement of the support 6 and milling arm 2, that is, the direction of movement of the milling cutter, is readily understandable and can be understood for the respective states on the Fig 4 and can be read from Table 5. The on position of the relays 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and the circuits of the frequencies F1 to F4 switched on by the relays can also be seen from the table in FIG. For the sequence of the scanning process with fully automatic contour scanning, the question still remains to be answered, how the control device works with contours that release or fully deflect the sensor in a certain direction.
The answer can be found in the explanations above. If the sensor is free, it stands up and switches the switch over the magnet 28a clockwise (n1, Fig. 3) by one switching step into the next switching position, in which the direction of movement of the sensor is turned 90 to the right (ABCD ).
If, however, the sensor, which here after assumption moves around the contour in a clockwise direction, is fully articulated, then the magnet 28b switches in a counterclockwise direction by one switching step into the next preceding switching position, in which the direction of movement is rotated counterclockwise by 90 (A. DC B). The actuation of the individual clutches 3a, 3b, 7a and 7b is recorded in the frequency recording, which is produced with the aid of the device 33, 34. The movement can therefore represent len with the aid of the device 34 after it has been switched to playback.
To play back the switch 32 ge opens, however, the switch 35 is closed, which connects the pulse pickup 36 via the amplifier 37 to the relays 38, 39, 40 and 41. Relays 38-41 are frequency relays. The relay 38 is. matched to the frequency F1, the relay 39 to the frequency F2, the relay 40 to the Fre quency F3 and the relay 41 to the frequency F4.
When the recording is played back, the frequencies F1, F2 and F3 will first act and cause the relays 38, 39 and 40 to respond. The relay 38 opens its normally closed contact 38a, while its working contact 38b closes the circuit of the switching device 28a. The consequence of this is that the lining group A of the roller switch 29 is brought up to the pole row 30. The relay 39 closes the circuit of the magnetic coupling 7a via its normally open contact 39a, so that the motor 7 guides the support 6 away from the machine column 1.
The relay 40 opens its normally closed contact. .10a and thereby interrupts the circuit of the clutch 7b.
It follows. now the reproduction of the frequencies F2 and F3, while the Fre quency F1 disappears. Accordingly, the relays 39 and 40 remain switched on and the clutch 7a in operation. The relay 38 is de-energized. The clutch 3a is switched on via its normally closed contact 38a. There is thus the same movement process for the tool as it existed in the recording voltage when the contact 22a ge was opened.
The reproduction of the frequency F3 now follows, while the frequency F2 disappears and the relay 39 falls accordingly. As a result, the clutch 7a is turned off. Only the clutch 3a remains in operation. The movement process for the tool thus corresponds to the movement process of the sensor during the recording when the contact 22b was closed. During the recording, the frequency F3 now also disappears, so that the relay 40 drops out and the clutch 7b switches on via its break contact 40a.
The clutch 3a remains switched on via the normally closed contact 41a of the relay 41 and the normally closed contact 38a of the relay 38.
Finally the frequency F4 is given again, so that the relay 41 responds. and by opening its normally closed contact 41a interrupts the circuit of the clutch 3a, but at the same time closes the circuit of the switching magnet 28b. The clutch 76 remains switched on.
Also with regard to the movement processes explained last, there is full correspondence with the processes during recording when contact 22e is opened or when contact 22d is closed.
