In einem Sammelgefäss A werden in be kannter Weise mehrere Einsatztöpfe B, C, D, E übereinander hineingelegt.
Electric steamers for food The steamers for food available in stores are built in such a way that they have to be placed directly on a stove or a gas or electric plate. This presupposes that the buyer of a steamer already has a kitchen or cooking facilities available. There are, however, a very large number of single people, working people, etc. who lack cooking facilities.
The purpose of the invention is now to provide a food steamer that can be connected to the existing lighting network.
The accompanying drawing shows how the subject invention can be carried out, for example.
In a collecting vessel A, several inset pots B, C, D, E are placed one on top of the other in a known manner. The bottom one is. dimensioned so large that there is space for the water to evaporate or steam as well as the gridiron F. All insert pots are provided with lugs l bent diametrically on the edge outwards for the purpose of centering in the collecting vessel A and as a support for the insert pot overlying the bar. The edge of the pot lies a few millimeters lower between the lobes l than the contact surface of the lobes so that the steam generated for stewing can flow unhindered into the inset pots.
To remove the inset pots from the collecting vessel A, a chain P is arranged on both sides diametrically opposite each other, to which an anchor b is attached below and a ring r above. To hold the chains or the inset pots in place, the associated tabs l are cut out in the middle.
The chains engage in these recesses d and thereby prevent the pots from tipping over when they are removed and reinserted. With both chains, all of the inset pots can now be lifted out and inserted together and then, in the first case, each individual pot can be pulled out of the chain. The tabs Z also serve as pot handles.
So there are no additional Ge devices to remove and insert the pots required as before.
The electrical heating coil II, which is supported by supports L, is located under the bottom of the lowest insert pot E. The heating coil is connected to socket S. An insulating space E is provided below the heating coil, which is closed off with asbestos panels J and glass wool. To protect the base, three feet O 'are screwed to the supports L. The collecting vessel A is also internally insulated, which means that the food cooks faster and stays warm longer.
The vessel lid G reaches over the edge of the collecting vessel A and is held in place by two springs V with a hinge. A safety flap N is arranged in the cover to prevent excess steam pressure.
