Der ganze Wagenzug bremst also gleichmässig.
Brake system, in particular for rail vehicles The invention relates to a brake, in particular for rail vehicles, with an electric and a pressure medium-operated tractor brake and a pressure medium-operated trailer brake, which latter is controlled depending on the tractor braking. With these brake systems, one is faced with the task of having the electric towing vehicle brake, which is usually used as a service brake, and also the pressure medium brake of the towing vehicle, which is usually used as a holding and emergency brake, act in a suitable manner on the trailer brake.
According to the invention, this object is to be achieved by means of control means for the trailer brake, by means of which it is actuated according to the braking current of the electric as well as the operating pressure of the pressure medium-actuated tractor brake of the respective tractor brake, such that both tractor brakes They can act independently and superimposed on the control of the trailer brake. This ensures that with all braking of the towing vehicle, the longer is always used to the correct extent for braking and z. For example, the brakes of the pulling vehicle are not stressed during long downhill journeys or sudden emergency braking.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows a brake system in a schematic Dar position, partly in section.
The power source of the electric train car brake consists of the two motor armatures 1 and 2 of the train car, which are connected to the vehicle ground via their field windings 3 and 4. With the help of a Stu fenschalters 5, the circuit can be closed via a number of braking resistors 6 and a switching resistor 7 that varies depending on the braking strength. In parallel with this series resistor, an excitation coil 8 of a solenoid valve 9 is switched on.
The compressed air required for the pressure medium brake is supplied by a pressure generator 10, which presses the air via a pressure regulator 11 and check valves 12, 13, 14 into a main container 15 and auxiliary containers 16 and 17. These auxiliary containers are connected via control valves 18 and 19 to brake cylinders 20 and 21, each forming a brake group.
A line 22 leads from the auxiliary container 16 to a driver valve 23 and from this a tractor control line 24 to the control valves 18 and 19.
To control the trailer brake, a control valve 25 is arranged in addition to the solenoid valve 9. It is formed as a three-chamber valve with a housing 26 on which the seat 27 for a valve disk 28 is located, and a valve tube 29 which in turn can be closed off by the valve disk 28. The valve tube 29 carries pistons 30 and 31 and is pressed down by a spring 32 supported on the housing 26. It is tightly guided in the opening 33 of an intermediate wall 34 of the housing 26.
The valve disk 28 is pressed by a spring 35 against its seat 27 or the tube 29 ge. It is located in a pressure chamber 36 with. the tractor control line 24 is connected ver.
Below the piston 30 is the control chamber 37. It is through the clearance between the valve tube 29 and its guide in the housing 26 with. a ver adjacent to the valve seat 27 annular space 38 connected. From this annulus goes. a trailer control line 39, which leads via a coupling 40 to a control valve 41 in the trailer. From this, lines lead to a reservoir 42 and a brake cylinder 43.
Between the piston 30 and the intermediate wall 34 of the control valve 25 is the pressure chamber 44. It is connected to the auxiliary container 17 by a line.
The piston 31 and the intermediate wall 34 delimit the brake chamber 45; from which a line 46 leads to the solenoid valve 9.
This solenoid valve has a housing 47 which contains a valve seat 48 and an intermediate wall 49, also a valve disk 50 and a valve tube 51. The valve disk 50 is pressed by a spring 52 against the seat 48; it is located in a pressure chamber 53 which is connected to the auxiliary container 17 by a line 54.
The valve tube 51 is guided with a certain amount of play in the housing 47 and is constricted at its lower end, so that there is an annular space 55 adjoining the valve seat 48. The line 46 leading to the control valve 25 starts from this annular space. The valve tube 51 carries a return piston 56 which is tightly connected by a bellows 57 with the inter mediate wall 49. At its upper end, the valve tube contains holes 58 and carries an armature 59 in its extension. This armature is located in the area of the He regerspule B.
In the driving position, the parts of the braking system assume the position shown. The braking circuit is interrupted. The He regerspule 8 is therefore de-energized, and the Fal tenbalg 57 holds the return piston 56 and the valve tube 51 in their highest position. The brake chamber 45 is therefore connected to the outside air via the device 46, the annular space 55, the interior of the valve tube 51 and the holes 58. The tanks 15, 16 and 17 contain compressed air. From the auxiliary container 17, the pressure chamber 44 and the pressure space 53 are under supply pressure. The latter is completed by the valve disk 50, which rests on its seat 48 under the pressure of the spring 52 and the air supply before.
The driver's valve 23 connects in the driving position the line '?? with the towing vehicle control line 24 so that it keeps the control valves 18 and 19 and the pressure chamber 36 under supply pressure. The control valves therefore hold the pistons of the brake cylinders 20 and 31 in the release position in a manner known per se. Except in the pressure chamber 36, there is a supply pressure in the annulus 38, the control chamber 44 and the trailer control line 39, whereby the control valve 41 is kept under pressure via the clutch 40 and the piston of the brake cylinder 43 is held in the release position.
The same forces act on both sides of the pistons 30 and 31 in the control valve '215, namely the supply pressure in the control chamber 37 and the pressure chamber 44 and the outside air pressure in the brake chamber 45 as on the outside of the piston 31. The pressure forces on the valve tube 29 therefore balance each other out, and it is pressed by the spring 32 naelr down against the valve plate 28 so that it keeps this away from its seat, but in turn is closed by it.
If the tractor is braked with the help of the driver valve 23, this vents the tractor control line 24 in a manner known per se; the control valves 18 and 19 respond to it and let compressed air from the auxiliary containers 16 and 17 flow into the brake cylinders 20 and 21. As a result, the braking members are tightened, in each case according to the pressure drop in the train control line 24.
However, this pressure reduction is also continued through the open annular space 38 into the trailer control line 39 and triggers the trailer braking via the control valve 41 in that compressed air is passed from the reservoir 42 into the brake cylinder 43 from the control valve 41. The whole train of cars brakes evenly. Through the clearance between the valve tube 29 and the housing 26, air also flows out of the control chamber 37, so that the pressure in the pressure chamber 44 predominates and the valve tube 29 holds in its lowest position. If compressed air is allowed to flow again into the tractor control line 24 through the driver's valve 23, the parts of the braking system return to the driving position and the brakes are released. These processes are independent of the electric brake.
If the towing vehicle is braked electrically, the motors in the circuit shown are used as generators; Depending on the braking stage turned on, more or fewer resistors 6 are placed in the circuit. The braking current flows through the windings 3 and 4 and armatures 1 and 2 of the generators, the resistors 6, the step holder 5, the series resistor 7 and parallel to it the excitation coil B. The latter is therefore excited depending on the strength of the braking current and draws accordingly anchor 59. As a result, the valve tube 51 is pushed down, it sits on the valve disk 50 and lifts it from its seat 48.
The valve tube is thus closed; Compressed air flows through the open annulus 55 from the Lei device 54 and the pressure chamber 53 into the Lei device 46 and the brake chamber 45. At the same time, air also penetrates from the annulus 55 through the clearance between the valve tube 51 and its guide under the return piston 56 and counteracts the force of the exciter coil 8. If the pressure has reached a certain level, it compensates for this force and lifts the valve tube 51 again until the valve disk 50 rests on its seat. This solenoid valve 9 creates a pressure in line 46 and brake chamber 45, the level of which depends on the strength of the braking current.
In the control valve 25, this pressure causes the valve tube 29 to be raised with the aid of the piston 31. The valve plate 28 lies down on its seat, and the connection from the tractor control line 24 to the trailer control line 39 is interrupted. The valve tube is lifted from the valve disk 28 and allows air to flow from the control line 39 through the tube inside into the open. The falling pressure in the control line 39 allows the trailer brake to respond via the control valve 41.
This pressure reduction is also propagated through the clearance between the valve tube 29 and the housing 26 in the control chamber 37, where the pressure counteracts the pressure in the pressure chamber 44. Therefore, if the pressure in the control line 39 and the control chamber 37 falls by a certain amount, the valve tube 29 lowers back onto the valve disk 28 and the connection to the outside air is interrupted. If the pressure in the brake chamber 45 increases further, the valve tube 29 rises again and lowers the pressure in the control line 39 even more; the brake of the trailer thus acts as a function of the air pressure in the line 46 and thus as a function of the strength of the braking current in the towing vehicle. These processes do not affect the air vehicle brake.
If, while the towing vehicle is partially braked with electricity, suddenly and strongly braked with compressed air, then the. the pressure in the towing vehicle control line 2.1 and the pressure chamber 36 below the pressure in the annular space 38. Due to this pressure difference, the valve disk 28 loves its seat and allows air to escape from the control line 39 to the towing vehicle control line 2.1. The compressed air braking can therefore overlay the current braking.
Conversely, if the valve plate 28 is lifted from its seat and the pressure in the control lines 24 and 39 is reduced to a certain extent, and if a strong braking current generates a strong Druckhö hung in the brake chamber 45, this pressure loves the valve tube 29, which Ver connection between the control lines is interrupted, and the control line 39 is still further vented.
The brake system shown can be expanded by the fact that additional brake cylinders or entire brake groups finitely auxiliary containers;
It can also be a second guide valve for the opposite direction of travel ordered and connected to the auxiliary container 17, for example; accordingly, the trailer control line 39 can be extended through the entire tractor unit so that a coupling can be attached to each end of the tractor unit.
