Control element for liquids and gases The present invention relates to a control element for regulating the flow of liquids and gases in pipelines, which has a membrane with a measuring opening through which a pressure difference arises on both sides of said membrane when the medium flows through, and the membrane is connected to a regulating valve body, which regulates the aluminum as it passes through a fixed valve seat, and according to the present invention, the regulating valve is also axially adjustable with respect to the valve seat by manual actuation of an adjusting device,
in order to be able to change the mean amount of the flow of the medium.
The adjustment of the regulating valve body can be brought about by a manually operated means comprising an actuating spindle, said actuating spindle. 1, when rotated, serves to change the axial position of the control valve body.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the invention is illustrated, in a vertical section @
The drawing shows a metal housing which includes a perforated disk 23 for the amount of liquid flowing through and a control valve arrangement 11.
The metal housing comprises a cylindrical, flanged valve housing 12, which is provided at its upper end with an inlet channel part 13 and whose lower flanged end is connected by means of bolts 14 to a flanged part of a spring and measuring hole housing 15 provided with an outlet opening 16 . The peripheral zone of an elastic membrane 17 is inserted between the parts of the housing parts 12 and 15 which are seen and clamped between them by means of the bolts 14.
The liquid can e.g. B. consist of oil.
The measuring hole assembly 10 is attached in a liquid-tight manner to the inner edge of the membrane. and comprises a hood 18 provided with holes which is provided with an outer flange 19 which forms an annular seat for the membrane 1.
Provide one with an external and internal thread. The collar 20 extends downward from the flange 19 and is provided on its external thread with a clamping ring 21, which is designed so that, when screwed upwards, it presses against the sealing ring 22 inserted between the membrane 17 and the clamping ring 21 in order to thereby to effectively secure the hood 18 to the membrane 17. The flange 19 is continued inside the skin 18 to provide an annular seat z 19a for the measuring hole disk 23, wel. surface is attached to said ring seat by means of a clamping ring 24 screwed into the internal thread of the collar 20.
The hood 18 is. above the flange 19, 19a of hemispherical shape and is provided with holes 25 which connect a cavity 18a delimited by the stave 18 with the annular space defined by the cylindrical control valve housing 12. The perforated disk 23, which forms the opening 23a, is over the Ha. Tube 18 is connected to an upwardly extending pin 26 of the hood 18, which is provided at its upper end with a recess provided with a thread, which recess receives an extension or screw 28 of the control valve body 37 provided with a corresponding thread .
The recess 27 is of greater depth than the length of the viewing hood 28 of the control valve body 37, which allows a significant axial adjustment of the so-called control valve body.
The spring and measuring hole housing 15 surrounds a helical spring 29 clamped between the base and the underside of the measuring hole assembly 10 in such a way that the downward movement of the membrane 17 is counteracted by the spring 29.
The pin 26 is guided in a guide plate 30 arranged within the cylindrical part of the control valve housing 12 for axial movement, and bores 31 are provided in the guide plate 30. The upper end of the cylindrical valve housing 12 is attached to a downwardly extending cylindrical part 13a of the inlet channel member 13, which is provided with an inlet opening 32 provided with an internal thread for the liquid to be regulated.
The medium could also consist of a gas. A flanged inner extension 13 & of the cylindrical part 13a 'forms the lower wall of the part 13 and also serves to support the fe! st arranged valve seat 33. The seat 33 is screwed into a recess 34 formed in the flanged extension 13b and provided with a corresponding thread and is provided with a collar 35 which is designed so that it rests against the upper surface of the flanged extension - tion 13b rests when, as shown, the seat 33 is screwed into the recess 34.
The control valve body comprises a valve stem 36, the lower end of which carries the screw 28 and passes through a conical recess 38 formed in the upper end of the valve seat 33. Above the valve body 37 is an extension 39 with a rectangular cross-section, the length of which is greater than the length of the viewing hood 28. A manually operated spindle 40, which forms a key, is provided for rotating the valve stem 36, whereby causes the screw 28 to move up or down in the threaded recess 27.
The spindle 40 is rotatably mounted in a bush 41 which is mounted in a sleeve 42 which extends upward and forms part of the link 13. A collar 43 is provided on the shaft of the key and is enclosed between the lower end face of the sleeve 41 and a bracket member 44 fastened to the underside of the sleeve 41.
The collar 43 prevents in this way an axial displacement of the key 40 when the latter is by means of one. attached handle 45 rotated in the Büehse 41 wi. approx. A drilled out recess 46 is formed in the lower end of the shaft of the key 40 and is of greater length than the flat-sided extension 39 which surrounds it.
The lower of the drilled out recess 46 is closed by a bridge piece 47, which has a flat-sided opening for receiving the extension 39, the arrangement being such that when the key 40 is rotated, the valve stem 36 also rotates and looks in an axial direction Shifted direction so that the valve body 37 moves against the valve seat 33 or away from the same. It follows from this that the intended setting allows the passage cross section of the control valve arrangement 11 to be changed.
The control element described is formed out to by means of the inlet and. Nuslass- channels 32 and 16 to be installed in the pipeline of a liquid or gas system. The arrangement of the organ is such that when a flow begins, the liquid flows through the inlet: anafl 32 in the part 13 and from there through the inlet arrangement of the control valve assembly 11, which through the conical valve seat 38 and the valve body 37 is given., flows.
Then the liquid flowed into the between the ge ilan. See extension 13b and the guide plate 30 existing cavity A and through the bores 31 into the cavity B between the guide plate 30 and the hood 18. Thereupon the liquid flows from the cavity B through the bores 25 in the hood 18 into the cavity 18a and through the measuring cup plate 23 via the opening 23a into the cavity C formed by the membrane 17 and the measuring hole housing 15 and from there. through the Auslā Canal 16.
For any exchangeable measuring dial 23, the value of the differential pressure xy, which is generated at the measuring opening 23a by the liquid flow through the same, is determined by the liquid speed, where x is the pressure of the liquid in front and g den Pressure of the liquid behind the membrane is. Since the measuring hole 23 is connected to the elastic membrane 17, the differential pressure occurring at the measuring hole is also effective on the elastic membrane.
The differentialdrack occurring in this way on the membrane is counteracted by the helical steel spring 29, the lower end of which rests on the housing 15, the valve body 37 moving with the membrane assumes a normal central position which is set with the handwheel 45 can be.
The axial position of the valve body 37 can be adjusted by rotating the spindle 40, which rotates the valve stem 39 and thus generates an axial displacement of the same by screwing the viewing indicator 28 into the threaded recess 27 in the pin 26 or screwing it out of the same will be influenced.
Should the inflow pressure in the opening 32 deviate for a longer period from the one to which the position of the valve body 37 was originally set, or it should be desirable to reduce the flow rate of the liquid through the outlet opening 16 emerges, so it enables the key 40 to raise or lower the main or middle position of the valve body 37, whereby the non-covered cross-section of the recess 38 can be increased or decreased and the amount of liquid which per unit of time in the space A can flow under the pressure through the inlet opening 32 is changed.
Slight changes in pressure cause the diaphragm 17 to fluctuate in order to raise or lower the valve body 37, and the pressure and the amount of the liquid flowing through the outlet opening per unit of time are kept approximately constant. The position of the body 37 can therefore also be changed by means of the handwheel 45, the mean amount of the throughflow being able to be changed as required.
