Liquid heating apparatus. The present invention is a heating apparatus for liquids, such as. B. whey and skimmed milk, characterized by a jacket tube with a. Inlet nozzle for steam, in which jacket pipe a mixer left with an axial bore:
is arranged coaxially, the bore of which is flown through by the liquid to be heated, and which is equipped with channels running at an acute angle to the flow direction of the liquid, which connect the inside of the jacket tube with the bore of the mixer.
The subject of the invention is shown in an embodiment example on beilie gender drawing. It shows Fig.1 the heating apparatus in longitudinal section, Fig. 2 is a cross section through the He heating apparatus according to line E-F of Figure 1, on a larger scale,

<tb> Kegelsee <SEP> n <SEP> b, <SEP> of a <SEP> monitoring nut <SEP> c,
<tb> a threaded connector <SEP> d <SEP> and <SEP> two <SEP> sealing rings h is provided. The casing pipe is screwed to the inlet line C and to the outlet line D of the mixer B by means of the threaded connector d. In the jacket pipe a.
A lateral connection piece e is welded in, which is connected to the supply line for steam, not shown in the drawing, by means of the conical connection piece f and the union nut g. These detachable screw connections ensure that the device can be dismantled.
The liquid to be heated and flowing through the axial bore n of the mixer B in the direction of the arrow G-H is sealed both from the outside and from the vapor space i. .
The mixer B, which corresponds in length to the jacket pipe and is arranged coaxially in the sem, is cylindrical at its ends and helical between these cylindrical V ends. The helically ver running steam channel 7c is milled.
Channels m branching off from it and arranged at an acute angle to the direction of flow of the liquid in mixer B connect the interior of jacket tube i with bore n of mixer B.
Due to the offset position of these channels na to each other according to Fig. 92, the liquid in the bore n of the mixer is set in rotation when the water vapor flowing through the channels n2 hits it,
whereby a good mixing of the liquid with the water vapor and thus a uniform heating temperature is achieved.
The bore n of the mixer is conical at both ends, in the sense that the bore iz gradually narrows from the inlet opening of the mixer towards the middle of the same and, conversely, gradually widens again towards the outlet side. The bore n can, however, also have a cylindrical shape without such conical extensions and constrictions.
