Additional patent to the main patent no. 304363. Resistant dye preparation. The subject of the present patent is a stable dye preparation which contains a phosphorus compound which is derived from orthophosphoric acid, as well as a difficultly soluble, complex metal compound of at least two azo groups, including at least one metallized o, o'-dioxyazo group, containing dye, in which one of the metals with the atom numbers 27 to 29 is present in a complex bond.
The metal compounds contain a complex bonded metal atom with an atomic number of at least 27 and at most 29, i.e. a cobalt, nickel or copper atom. As is known to the person skilled in the art, the complex compounds of disazo and polyazo dyes which contain one of these metals are particularly suitable for application to cellulose-containing materials.
The complex metal compounds must contain at least one o, o'-dioxyazo group as a metallized group and can also have o-oxy-o'-carboxy azo groups, o-oxycarboxylic acid groups or 8-oxyquinoline radicals.
The complex cobalt, nickel or copper compounds that come into consideration here can be produced by methods known per se. Suitable dyes which correspond to the definitions already given are known in large numbers, especially in metal-free form. Among the latter, so to speak, all those who can be used as cobalt, nickel or copper complexes in the specified manner, which give poorly soluble metal compounds, but can be used for dyeing cellulose fibers according to the known post-metallization process.
As phosphorus compounds of the specified type, the dye preparations contain preferably alkali metal salts of orthophosphoric acid.
Particularly valuable are those dye preparations in which, in addition to the metallhal term dye and the phosphorus compound, a preferably aliphatic amine is present which contains at least one amino group and at least one -OH group separated from it by two carbon atoms, the latter also containing one Can belong to carboxylic acid group. These amines are thus due to the presence of at least one atom grouping of the formula

marked.
Examples are: monoethanolamine, aminoacetic acid, β-oxyithylaminoacetic acid, 2-amino-1-oxybenzene-4-sulfonic acid amide.
In some cases it is useful to add solid amines, e.g. B. those with a melting point above 50. For example, the amines of the composition prove to be advantageous in all cases
EMI0002.0002
The amines with the following composition may be mentioned as examples:
EMI0002.0003
Particularly valuable results are obtained with 1,2-di- (ss-oxyäthylamino) ethane of the formula
EMI0002.0005
With regard to the proportions of the substances described above, which are present in the preparations or used for their manufacture, the following should be noted:
It is advisable to use more than two molecules of aliphatic amine per complexed metal atom. The amount of phosphorus compound can be freely selected within wide limits. Good results are obtained, where R1 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group with a maximum of three carbon atoms or an oxymethyl group, R2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and n is an integer not exceeding 4, but preferably 2.
Mp. 136 to 1391 'Mp. 177 to 18 10 Mp. 154 to 157 0 Mp. 93 to 94. is aimed when about a sixth of the amount of dye is present in phosphate ions by weight, while on the other hand a larger excess does not have any disadvantageous effect. About a third to double the amount of phosphate ions, based on the amount of dye present, proves to be practical.
If the preparations, regardless of whether they contain the amine or not, are to be adjusted to a specific color strength, it is advisable to add non-electrolytes such as urea or water-soluble carbohydrates such as sucrose or dextrin. Non-electrolytes of the type specified are the appropriate diluents for the preparations because, in contrast to the additives usually used, such as sodium sulfate, they have no adverse effect.
EMI0003.0005

it is mixed in equal parts with sucrose and trisodium phosphate. Example for the use of the preparation:
To produce a clear stock solution, part of this dyeing preparation is mixed with a solution of 1 part 1,2-di- (ss-oxyäthylamino). Dyeing with the preparations to be used according to the invention can be carried out according to known methods , for substantive dyes are carried out using the usual methods.
Example 1: Adding the copper compound to the dye of the formula Tat. After rinsing and drying, a blue dyeing of excellent lightfastness and washfastness is obtained.
A dye preparation which, instead of the copper compound of the dye of the formula given above, contains the same amount of the product that is obtained by demethylating coppering according to known processes from the coupling product obtained in an alkaline medium from 1 mol of tetrazotized 4,4'- Diamino-3,3'-dimethoxy-1, 1'-diphenyl and 2 moles of 2-amino-5-oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid is prepared.
Example 2 The nickel compound of the dye of the formula ethane is poured over 3 parts of water and boiled with 200 parts of water.
