Rasierpinsel.
Shaving brush. The present invention relates to a shaving brush, in the grip space of which liquid shaving soap is housed, which can be conveyed into the brush bristles via a tube which opens into the brush bristles and which can be closed at this point by means of a pressure member.
There are known shaving brushes of this type in which the shaving liquid is supplied to the bristles by a twist member. In the known arrangements, a piston is connected to the pressure element, which also serves to guide the pressure member, so the outer surfaces of the piston are in contact with the corresponding guide surfaces.
In the known arrangements, the pressure member is influenced by a spring which tries to push the pressure medium out of the grip space. Only when you act on the pressure member from the outside with your thumb, for example, does the piston convey shaving fluid into the brush bristles.
Shaving brush of the known type have outlet tubes through which the shaving fluid can ge long from the handle to the bristles. In one case it is. the exit roller is designed to be lockable at the end facing the bristles. The rod under spring pressure, guided in the outlet pipe and to which the sealant is attached, is connected to the pressure member. As long as no pressure is exerted on the pressure member from the outside, this outlet opening is closed.
Another known arrangement also has a closure means which is intended to prevent the escape of shaving liquid. The termination point is located directly at the point of supply of the shaving liquid to the. Outlet pipe. Behind this termination point, the cross section of the outlet tube widens and finally narrows as you approach the mouth of the outlet tube in the bristles.
In one of the type of arrangement, a cross-section corresponding amount of shaving liquid remains in the outlet pipe, which gives rise to blockages. If such a blockage has occurred, the shaving brush must be disassembled and cleaned.
The object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages outlined above. This is achieved according to the invention in that in. Grip space at the confluence of the outlet tube is provided, in front of which, if no pressure is exerted on the pressure member, a disc-shaped piston connected to the pressure member is held by a spring so that shaving liquid enters the tube when the outlet point is closed Turning can flow.
The idea of the invention is explained with reference to the drawing, which shows a game Ausführungsbei.
The handle 1 has a cavity 2 in which the shaving liquid is accommodated. The filling of the same is made possible by releasing the lid 3, which contains a seal 4, from the handle. The pressure member 5, which is expediently designed in one piece, is guided in the cover 3 and in the outlet tube 6, which opens into the brush bristles. It carries a disc-shaped piston 7.
On the pressure member, and thus on the piston, a spring 8 advertises in such a way that the piston 7 is in front of an expediently cylindrical rotation 9 when the pressure member 5 is not acted on by diazek forces from outside. If the shaving brush is on a base 10, the liquid level of the shaving liquid is below the piston 7, for example.
Since the shaving liquid is relatively moderately thin, any liquid particles that may have remained in the outlet pipe flow downwards and thus empty the outlet pipe. If you want to use the brush, you take it, for example, in your right hand and wet it, possibly in a water bowl or the like. During this movement, shaving fluid enters the recess 9 and fills it completely if you hold the shaving brush vertically. If pressure is now exerted on the leech member 5 against the spring 8, the piston 7 closes the recess 8.
Since at the same time the sealing cap 11 connected to the pressure member 5 is lifted from the outlet mouth, the piston 7 pushes the shaving fluid located in the recess 9 through the outlet tube into the brush bristles. If you let go of the pressure member 5, the spring 8 returns the pressure member to the starting position, and the sealing cap 11 closes the outlet pipe again. Depending on the size of the recess, more or less residual fluid gets into the bristles.
The space formed by the recess is dimensioned in such a way that the pressure member only has to be actuated once in order to be able to convey a sufficient amount of shaving liquid into the bristles. After massaging the whiskers with the brush for 1 to 2 minutes, i.e. lathering the face, put the shaving brush down again, as shown in the drawing, so that the liquid parts still present in the outlet pipe can be found in the Grip space can flow back.
The bristles 12 are, as known with other Ra sierpinseln, for example, held in a thin-walled plastic housing 13 which is screwed onto the handle body 1 by means of the cap 14. It is expedient to manufacture the Di # Lick member 5 and the piston 7 from a single piece body.
Of course you can join the pressure. assemble the piston from several parts.
When the shaving brush is on the lid as shown, the shaving liquid can flow back into the grip area because there is no lubricant between the exit point of the shaving liquid in the bristles and the (Triffholil space). The pressure member cleans the outlet tube independently when the push member is operated to push out the shaving liquid.
