Fig. 4 einen.
Overhead door, especially for hall openings. The invention relates to an up-and-over door, in particular for hall openings, with two curved pieces attached to the side of the door leaf, by means of which the door can be rolled over on stationary supports,
which curve pieces are loaded with counterweights to facilitate the door leaf actuation and are rigidly connected to a common supporting structure for the door leaf by a transverse stiffening element extending in the door width direction.
Up to now, up-and-over doors of this type have been limited to a maximum door width of 3-4 m, whereby the torsion caused by the weight of the door leaf and the required counterweights seemed to set these limits for the door width.
According to the invention, it is now provided that the stiffening element has at least two horizontal crossbeams, which can preferably consist of tubes, of which crossbeams the crossbeam, which is lower when the gate leaf is closed, runs at least approximately in the horizontal line of gravity of the gate leaf. Even with up-and-over doors of relatively very large, z.
B. 10 m width, the width-correspondingly large gate leaf weight by attaching counterweights to the side curve pieces are practically compensated so that the gate flight operation can be followed with surprisingly little effort, while the arrangement of a cross member in the horizontal .Schwerlinie of the gate leaf, in particular using a tubular profile that gives the gate leaf a high level of torsional rigidity,
without excessively increasing the weight of the hill.
In contrast, the previously used for large door widths, expensive, and cumbersome to handle folding and sliding gates require a significantly larger Actuate supply work. An up-and-over door leaf that is balanced in weight and torsion-resistant is, in comparison to other door constructions, preferably suitable for use in lightweight construction materials.
In the accompanying drawings, several exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown schematically, namely: FIG. 1 shows an overhead door in elevation, viewed from the inside, FIG. 2 shows the door according to FIG. 1 in vertical cross section, FIG. 3 shows a horizontal section of the Gate according to the line III-III in Fig. 2,
Fig. 4 a. Part of another. Embodiment of an overhead door in elevation, in which the supporting structure consists of an upper chord and lower chord with mutual bracing, FIG. 5 shows a cross section to FIG. 4 and FIG. 6 shows the execution of the lower chord as a triangular beam in cross section.
In the first embodiment of the tilting door according to FIGS. 1 to 3, the door leaf 6 has a supporting structure which consists of the curved pieces which are arranged on the side of the door leaf and provided with the counterweights 2. 3, which are mounted rollable on stationary rails 3a, and those rigidly connected to these curved pieces and extending in the direction of the door width. Cross members 4 and 5, of which the ge formed by a pipe,
when the gate leaf is closed, the upper cross member 4 runs approximately at the level of the gate upper edge, while. the lower cross member 5 when the gate wing is closed is at least approximately, that is to say to 10%. the height is exactly in the horizontal line of gravity of the gate wing 6.
With special consideration of the material stress in the median line, the lower cross member 5 is designed as a truss, as can be seen from Figs. 2 and 3, and with the since union curve pieces 3 not only at the front ends, but also via a strut 5a connected.
The leaf of the gate wing 6 can be made of light metal or wood. Also. The way of its attachment to the cross members of the structure is arbitrary. Therefore, details have not been presented here.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 and 5, the whole transverse stiffening element is designed as a framework, the upper belt consists of a tube 10 and: which, when the gate wing is closed, the lower belt is formed by a flat truss 11 with two tubular belts, in the plane of which as 1-3 the horizontal line of gravity of the gate wing runs at least approximately.
The upper chord and the lower part are connected to one another by struts 12 of tubular profile. The lateral curve pieces 13 with: the weights 14 are firmly connected to the transverse stiffening element described enclosed to form a structure, and the leaf 15 of the gate leaf is attached to the transverse stiffening element. The half-timbered gardens 10, 11 each form a horizontal cross member.
In the embodiment according to Fig. 6 he stretches a -prismatic framework- than when the gate wing is closed, the horizontal cross member with its center line practically table, that is to say exactly to 10 11 / a, in the gravity line of the gate wing, which consists of three tubular, Straps 17 each form a cross member and are connected to one another by struts 19.
Of these Gur th 17 are two on the inside of the plane of the gate leaf and the third on the outside, the leaf of the gate leaf by means of a bulge covers the framework on the outside of the overhead door. Another horizontal cross member attached to the upper end of the gate wing consists of a tube 20. The gate wing plane thus extends here between the two inner and outer girders 17 of the framework 17, 19.
Both the upper and lower cross members are time-side curve pieces 21 on which the counterweights 22 sit, immediacy and firmly connected, so that the entire supporting structure of the gate leaf results in a body that is rigid.
