Seilroffe.
Seilroffe. In the case of rope pulleys, the peripheral rim facing the rope grooves is subject to wear by the rope, while the other parts of the rope pulleys have a practically unlimited service life. If the rope pulley ring was hired, the entire rope pulley had to be replaced.
The present invention relates to a pulley in which the peripheral rim and the remaining part of the pulley consist of separate parts which are connected to one another in such a way that the rim can be renewed individually after it has been worn. The rim is preferably releasably attached to the circumference of a disc provided with the hub, for which purpose the rim can have an inwardly projecting universal web which engages over the disc and is connected to it by screws.
A preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated by way of example in the accompanying drawing. The single figure shows a pulley mounted on a shaft by means of ball bearings in an axial section.
According to the drawing, a rim 2 provided with a rope groove 1 is provided with an inwardly projecting circumferential web 3 , which can be detached with the aid of screws 4 on the circumference of a disk > 5 is attached. The web 3 overlaps the peripheral part of the disk 5. On the parts that overlap, the web and the disc are reduced in thickness by half, in such a way that the side surfaces of the web and the edge gradually merge into one another. The screws 4 are passed through holes in the washer 5 and engage in threaded holes in the web 3 .
However, the arrangement of the screws could also be reversed. In the first case, however, there is the advantage of greater strength of the connection if the rim 2 and the web 3 consist of a wear-resistant material than the disk 5. One could, however also use screws that go through holes in the washer and in the web and carry screwed-on nuts. In its center, the disc 5 is provided with a hub 6 which, together with the disc, consists of a single piece of material. Radially extending ribs 7 are provided to stiffen the disk 5 .
The hub 6 is rotatably mounted on a shaft 9 with the help of two ball bearings 8 and is axially supported by a cover 10 </ B> protected against the ingress of dirt. These covers are detachably connected to the hub 6 by screws 11 . Instead of ball bearings, roller bearings or, if necessary, plain bearings can of course also be provided. The disk 5 and the hub 6 are preferably made of a relatively cheap material, such as. B.
Gray cast iron, while the rim 2 with the web 3 is made of higher quality and more wear-resistant material, such as tough, hard cast steel.
If, after a long period of operation of the described pulley, the wreath 2 is hacked through, it can be individually separated and replaced with a new one. The disc 5 with the near 6 can in this way be used much longer.
Should the disc 5 break once due to overloading, it can also be replaced, where the rim 2, provided it has remained undamaged, can continue to be used until it also has to be replaced. By using a more wear-resistant material for the rim 2, the service life of the rope pulley can be increased significantly without the entire rope pulley having to be made from the relatively expensive material of the rim.
In an embodiment of the rope pulley, not shown, its peripheral rim is connected to the rest of the pulley not by screws but by welding, but in such a way that the rim can be separated and replaced individually. In this case, the wreath is fastened by means of a so-called interrupted rough seam, which can be turned away after the wears of the wreath without damaging the parts themselves.
After removing the caterpillar seam, the rim can be replaced, after which the new rim is again attached to the rest of the roll by a caterpillar seam. This construction is particularly advantageous for smaller pulleys that are manufactured in relatively large series and one made of iron. or pressed steel.
As in the example shown, the circumferential rim is expediently provided with an inwardly protruding circumferential web, which is connected by welding to the undang of a disc arranged close to it, the web and the disc are advantageously flush with each other and have smoothly merging outer surfaces .
The expression rope pulley used in the description is understood to mean not only deflection pulleys for ropes, but also rope drums for winding ropes in winches and elevators.
