Description

  

  Gebrauchsgegenstand mit einer Schauseite aus     Leder        mit    geprägten     Verzierungen.       Die Erfindung betrifft einen Gebrauchs  gegenstand, der ganz oder teilweise aus Le  der bestehen kann, jedenfalls eine Schauseite  aus Leder aufweist, die mit geprägten Ver  zierungen, z. B. mit Darstellungen von     La.nd-          seha.fteri,    Städteansichten, Ornamenten und  dergleichen versehen ist.  



  Es     ist    bekannt, derartige Darstellungen in  der Weise anzubringen, dass das die Schau  seite tragende Lederstück auf eine Präge  platte, welche die Darstellungen erhaben auf  weist     (Patrize),    gelegt und mittels einer Ma  trize     aufgepresst    wird. Dabei werden. die     Er-          habenheiten    der     Patrize    in das Leder von  unten her eingedrückt, so     .dass    sie oben (an       cler    Schauseite)     erhaben    in Erscheinung  treten.  



  Diese Gestaltungsweise ist. umständlich  und kostspielig. Sie liefert Verzierungen       (Darstellungen),    die als Ganzes sich von der  Schauseite des     Lederstiiekes    plastisch     ab-          lieb(,n    und wie aufgeklebt wirken.  



  Im Gegensatz dazu sind beim     C-T'ebrauchs-          gegenstand    gemäss vorliegender Erfindung die  Verzierungen in Tiefprägung angebracht. Die  Erhabenheiten der Ziemten können in der  Oberfläche des Leders liegen, während die  Tiefen in das Leder versenkt sind.  



  So beschaffene Verzierungen lassen sich in  einem einfachen Arbeitsgang mühelos     hervor-          bringen.    Sie wirken plastisch, ohne über die  Lederfläche hervorzutreten.  



  Die     )@Tirkung    kann besonders dadurch ge  hoben werden, dass die Konturen und die in-         nern    Gliederungen des Dargestellten schwarz  oder farbig, die flächigen     Bestandteile    in der  natürlichen Lederfarbe erscheinen, indem bei  der Herstellung der Prägestempel, mittels       deren    die Darstellungen angebracht werden,  an den erhabenen Stellen z. B. schwarz ein-'  gefärbt sind, so     da.ss    im fertigen Erzeugnis  die schwarzen Konturen und innern Präge  stellen vertieft liegen.  



  Selbstverständlich können die Darstel  lungen nicht nur an der Vorderseite,     sondern     auch an der Rückseite des Gegenstandes an  gebracht sein.
