Control device on a screw metering machine.
The invention relates to a control device on a metering machine, in which the metered material, in particular powdery or granular material, can be filled into containers of all kinds by means of a conveyor screw. The amount that is filled with each metering process in such machines is directly dependent on the number of revolutions of the screw conveyor.
If constant filling quantities are to be achieved, this results. thus the need for the screw conveyor to make exactly the same number of revolutions for each filling process.
It is known to use mechanical or electrical or combined control devices that work in this way for this purpose. that they switch off their drive automatically after a certain number of revolutions of the front tendon that corresponds to the desired filling quantity. In the case of known devices of this type, empirical inaccuracies in the dosing, which are caused by delays in turning on the screw conveyor or by a certain amount of after-running when turning off or uncoupling the screw conveyor, cannot always be avoided.
The aim of the invention is to reliably avoid these inaccuracies in that the control device is actuated directly by the conveyor screw, so that the actual speed of the forward tendon is taken into account by the control organs, and that the control device inevitably returns to the same starting position after each filling process is brewed. This also excludes the possibility of any quantity errors caused by faults of an unavoidable type during a filling process in the next. Affect dosage.
The subject of the invention is explained in the drawing, for example.
Fig. 1 is a partially sectioned elevation of an embodiment of the invention.
Fig. 2 is an elevational view, partly in section, of another embodiment, and Figs
FIG. 3 illustrates a circuit diagram for the embodiment according to FIG. 2.
The screw conveyor 2 mounted on the shaft 1 can be rotated in the filling nozzle 3 of a storage container. The shaft 1 is detachably connected to the drive shaft W via an electrical coupling 4. The shaft W is driven, for example, by means of a belt R from a motor M.
A pure worm 5, which is firmly connected to the shaft 1, drives a worm wheel 6, which engages in a ring over a disk 7 and releases it in one direction of rotation via the rollers 8. As a result, a tension spring 9 fastened to the machine housing by means of the eyelet 10 and engaging the disk 7 can rotate the disk. The disc 7 engages with a roller 11 in an elongated hole 11 a of a lever 12 which is firmly connected to a lifting rod 13. For the lifting rod 13, Schneekenrad 6, Seheibe 7, rollers 8 and spring 9 thus form a stepless locking device.
The lifting rod 13 is arranged displaceably in a guide 14 and at the other end carries a roller 15 which runs on a cam disk 16 which can be rotated by means of the shaft 17. In addition, a finger 18a is firmly connected to a switching contact 18 with the rod 13, while a holding contact 19 is adjustably attached together with a slide 22 on a rod 21 provided with a scale. The respective contact position can be read off with the aid of the marking 24. An adjusting tube 23 is used to fix the slide 22 on the rod 21.
The working method is as follows:
By means of a not shown, z. B. switching device controlled by the shaft 1 7, the clutch 4 is switched on via the Koiitakte 20 and thereby the feed snow shaft 1 with the rotating drive shaft W frictionally connected.
The drive tendon 5 rotates the worm wheel 6 in the indicated arrow direction. As a result, the tension spring 9 can rotate the disk 7 in the same direction of rotation, the roller 11 moving the lifting rod 13 including the contact 18 downwards. The curve venscheibe 16 has already released the role 15 before the start of the previously described workflow, for example in a position as shown in the drawing in dash-dotted lines.
As soon as the hold contact 18 touches the switch contact 19, the clutch 4 is interrupted via a relay and the forcer screw 2 is stopped. This ends the dosing.
The cam disk 16 now pushes the lifting rod 13 back into its starting position, the lever 12 turning back the locking disk 7 via the roller 11 against the action of the spring 9. In this direction of rotation, the disk 7 is not positively connected to the tendon wheel 6. The loss of force with the worm wheel 6 only occurs again at the moment when the cam disk 16 releases the roller 15 and the spring 9 tries to rotate the disk 7 in the arrow direction shown. A rotation of the Seheibe 7 in this direction of rotation is therefore only possible together with the worm wheel 6.
With the aid of the adjusting device, which consists of the slide 24, the rod 21 and the adjusting screw 23, the initial distance between the contacts 18 and 19 and thus the dosage quantity dependent thereon can be precisely adjusted. Instead of this setting provision, other devices operating in a similar manner can of course also be used. The same applies to the coupling 4, in its place a mechanical coupling can also be used.
In the embodiment of the invention according to FIG. 2, the shaft 1 of the screw conveyor 2 rotatable in the filling nozzle 3 of a storage container is driven by the motor M. On the shaft 1. an electrical or mechanical brake B is arranged.
As in the first-described embodiment of FIG. 1, the screw conveyor 2 drives a snow mat 6 by means of a seline corner 5 fastened on the shaft 1, which engages in a ring over a disk 7 and releases it in one direction of rotation via the rollers 8, so that a spring 9 attached to the machine housing and acting on the Sehebe 7 can rotate the Sehebe. The disk 7 engages, likewise in accordance with the embodiment described first, in an elongated hole 11 a of a lever 12 which is firmly connected to a lifting rod 13. The lifting rod 13 is arranged displaceably in the guide 14.
The lever 12 or the lifting rod 13 carries a sehaltkontakt 18, while a sehalt contact 19 together with a slide 22 provided with the marking 24 is adjustably attached to a rod 21 provided with a scale 22a and can be determined by an adjusting screw 23 .
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 2 and 3, the control contacts 18 and 19 trigger a switch 26 (FIG. 3) when they close. By closing the contacts 26a and 26b of the switch 26 by means of a push button D, the motor M is switched on and the worm shaft 1 is thereby set in rotation. As a result, the spiral spring 9 can rotate the Seheibe 7 in the direction of the arrow, the roller 11 moving the water disc, the lifting rod 13 including the contact 18 near below.
As soon as the contact 18 touches the adjustable contact 19, the contacts 26a and 26b are opened via the switch 26 and the contacts 26b and 26c are closed, whereby the motos J7 is switched off and the shaft 1 is braked by means of the brake B. When the contacts 18 and 19 close, a delay relay 25 is activated at the same time, as a result of which a magnetic coil S is energized, into which the upper end of the lifting rod 13 protrudes, so that the lifting rod 13 is pulled back into the same starting position. In this return, the arm 12 rotates the disk 7 via the roller 11 against the action of the spring 9 back.
The disk 7 is not frictionally connected to the worm wheel 6 in this direction of rotation. The frictional connection with the Schneekenrad 6 only occurs again at the point where the coil S is de-energized and the spring 9 tries to rotate the disk 7 in the direction of the arrow.
With the help of the adjusting device, which consists of the slide 94, the rod 21 and the adjusting screw 23, the initial distance between the contacts 18 and 19 and thus the dosage quantity dependent thereon can be precisely adjusted.
The temporal accuracy of the circuits can be increased further that the relay 25 and the switch 26 are actuated with direct current. In this case, a rectifier in the relay resp. Switch circuit switched. The present circuit can also be replaced by circuits in which control tubes are provided in place of the relays.
In the two described embodiments, the control of the electrical or mechanical drive coupling of the screw conveyor is carried out by the lifting rod 13 electrically via the contacts 18, 19. However, the control of the drive coupling by the lifting rod 13 can also be done mechanically by means of a linkage.
