Description
Schrank- bzw.

Cabinet or wrapping paper with an insecticidal effect. It is common practice to protect clothes and fabrics from moth damage or pests by treating them directly with the moth or insecticide product. For this purpose z. B. smelling insecticide substances such as camphor, p-dichlorobenzene, etc. placed between the substances to be protected from pests or the textiles sprayed or treated with insecticide-containing solutions.
The present invention now relates to a cabinet or wrapping paper which has an insecticidal effect and which is characterized in that at least one side of the same is provided with an insecticidal agent. Such a paper has an additional protective effect on the laundry stored in the cupboard in addition to the possible direct treatment of the textiles with insecticidal agents.
Usually, the cabinet papers are removed from time to time, so that the effect of the same is renewed when insecticidal cabinet paper is used again. The beneficial effect is depending on the agent used in particular by the large effective surface, which u. a. evaporation of the insecticidal substance be favored, caused.
In addition to the insecticidal substance, the paper can also contain fragrant substances.
In the case of cupboard or wrapping paper according to the invention, the entire surface of the paper can be uniformly provided with the insecticide combination on one or both sides, or only parts of the same, e.g. B. manufactured by screen printing, contain insecticides. The cabinet or wrapping paper can be colored or undyed.
As an active ingredient component, the paper can be one of the common insecticides such as B. DDT (branded product), hexachlorocyclohexane, etc., or com bined insecticides with certain specific specific effects. contain. A mixture that is suitable for application to paper has e.g.
B. the following composition:

about <SEP> 40% <SEP> hexachlorocyclohexane <SEP> (Lindän <SEP>,

<tb> 100% A sufficient insecticidal effect can be achieved if one side of the paper per m2 contains at least 1 g of insecticidal active ingredient, e.g. B. hexachlorocyclohexane contains.
