Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent. Nr. 287190. Strickform-Muster.
Additional patent to the main patent. No. 287190. Knitting pattern. The main patent relates to a knitting pattern for determining the number of stitches and thread consumption, and the pattern is characterized according to the claim of the main patent in that it has longitudinal and transverse lines arranged at a certain distance from one another, which include large fields, for the purpose of being able to determine the total number of stitches and the thread consumption for the knitted fabric to be produced on the basis of the number of stitches contained in such a field and the number of fields.
According to the present additional invention, the longitudinal and transverse lines which form the counting network and the pattern figure are recorded on separate sheets to be laid one on top of the other, at least one of which, preferably the one with the network lines, is transparent.
For example, a company that sells knitting patterns may prefer to provide each buyer of knitting patterns with a transparent sheet of net and instructions for use so that they can use any pattern figures with the counting net.
It may also be advantageous if the longitudinal and transverse lines of the network are marked continuously from a line of origin each, for example with rows of numbers or letters, so that the number of fields and the area of the pattern figure, i.e. H. the total number of meshes and the material consumption can be determined more easily. Embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing. It is always assumed that a sheet of transparent grid lines is placed on a pattern sheet, so that the contours of the pattern are visible under the grid lines.
FIG. 1 shows the knitting pattern of the front part of a kimono blouse, FIG. 2 shows that of the front part of a jacket and FIG. 3 shows that of an extended sleeve. The lower sheet of the knitting pattern has a pattern figure 4, which corresponds to the garment part to be produced.
Over this pattern figure sheet are drawn on a transparent sheet at right angles 1 crossing longitudinal lines 2 and transverse lines 3 ge, which divide the pattern figure 4 into square fields. The distance between the longitudinal and transverse lines is, if possible, the mesh size, the thread thickness and. adapted to the needle size in such a way that, for example, there are fifteen stitches in a field and five stitches come on each side of the same. Based on the subdivision of areas as well as additional explanations or
Devices, for example formulas, measuring rods, tables, diagrams, slide rules, calculating disc rule, pantographs, the number of stitches and the necessary amount of yarn according to the area of the pattern can be determined by the number of fields and possibly the needle size and thread thickness and the progress of the knitting troll. The fields themselves can be divided by finer lines than the aforementioned longitudinal and transverse lines.
In order to be able to read off the number of fields easily, the lines or the spaces are numbered in Fig. 1 and unnumbered and spelled in Fig. 2 and 3, with zero axes 5 and 6 (fix. 1 and 2) or 7 (Fix. 3) has run out.
All longitudinal and transverse lines run out over the contours of the pattern drawing so that the number of stitches corresponding to the contour can be easily determined at the outermost points of the pattern figure.
It is advantageous to make the zero axes stronger or dash-dotted in order to be able to distinguish them better from the other lines. The zero axis 5 forms the axis of symmetry in FIG. 1, and an edge line of the pattern figure in FIG. 2. For the purpose of varying the knitting work, for example changing the knitting direction, various inclined axes can also be present, such as e.g. B. in Fig. 3, the designated 8 axis.
The longitudinal and transverse lines, the zero axes and the contours of the pattern figure can be done differently for different types of knitting, for example drawn, dashed or dashed or in different colors or different strengths.
The line networks can be applied to transparent paper, plastic, plastic, gutta-percha or textile material.
