Filling pencil with a pointed device. The subject of the invention is a further embodiment of the filling pencil with a sharpening device according to the claim of the main patent.
Known filler pencils with a sharpening device have the disadvantage that you need both hands to release the lock when you want to sharpen the lead. It is known that a rotation of the push button is necessary for triggering, the shaft sleeve having to be held with one hand and the push button with the other hand.
The present invention now relates to a filling pencil in which the disengagement of the lock of the push button, the actuation of the push button when tipping the lead and the engagement of the lock can be done with one hand.
The filler pencil according to the invention with a sharpening device is characterized by the fact that the spring wire bracket acts loosely on the grinding element and a push button sits at the rear end of a mine guide tube, which is locked in a certain position by a resilient element so that it can be disengaged in the axial direction the Ausi-iieken of the lock and the Sehlei Fen and re-engagement of the lock can be accomplished with one hand.
In the drawing, for example, an embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown, namely Fig. 1 shows an axial section through the pencil in the position of use, Fig. 2 is an axial partial section through the pencil when the lead clamping device is triggered, Fig. 3 is an axial partial section with the filling pencil in the extreme actuation position of the push button when sharpening,
4 shows the front part of the filling pencil with the case tip removed, FIG. 5 shows an end view of FIG. 4 in the direction towards the lead tip, FIG. 6 shows a view of the square screw socket and FIG. 7 shows an end view of the rear end of the latter .
The filler pencil shown has a barrel 1, in the front end of which a guide piece 2 is attached. The sleeve tip 3 is easily removed from the part of the guide piece protruding from the shaft sleeve. My axial bore 5 of the guide piece 2 is the clamping sleeve 4 of the lead clamping device and the front part of the lead guide tube 6, 6 'is guided in the clamping sleeve.
The front part and the rear part of the lead guide tube are connected to one another by a shoulder piece 7. The front end of the leading rim tube 6 is designed as a clamping cone 8 and the front end of the clamping sleeve 4 is designed as a clamping cone 9.
The clamping cone and the clamping cone together form the lead clamping device, which can be actuated by axially displacing the linear guide tube with respect to the clamping sleeve. For the tips of the mine 10 held in the clamping device, a grinding body 11 is used which, on its side facing the mine, has two friction surfaces (files) set at an angle of 60 to one another and which by means of a.
T-shaped end 12 is swingably mounted in a T-shaped recess 13 on the guide piece 2, the wall against the bore 5 is broken through in the longitudinal part of the Ausspa tion. This enables the grinding body 11 to oscillate against the mine.
The grinding wheel 11 is resiliently loaded by an existing steel wire, with its legs ends in the guide piece attached spring bracket 14, which strives to press the grinding wheel 11 against the mine and engages the body 11 loosely. 15 is a locking ring inserted into the sleeve tip, the axial opening of which on the clamping sleeve 4 ensures a tight seal against falling out of the grinding dust.
The rear end of the clamping sleeve is provided with a collar 16, with which the clamping sleeve 4 can strike against the guide piece 2 and be held back when the lead guide tube 6 is pushed forward over the clamping sleeve 4 alone for the purpose of opening the mine clamping device 8, 9 should. By a lead clamping spring 17, which see on the one hand against the clamping sleeve 4 and on the other hand is supported against the shoulder piece 7, the lead clamping device is pressed into its clamping position.
A push button 18 is attached to the rear end of the lead guide tube part 6 '. The mine guide tube 6, 6 'can be advanced against the action of a return spring 19 supporting on the one hand against the guide piece 2 and on the other hand against the shoulder piece 7 see. The push button is sleeve-shaped at the front, so that it overlaps the rear end of the shaft sleeve 1 in the depressed position.
At the rear end of the shaft sleeve 1, a guide ring 20 is fastened, which on its part protruding from the shaft sleeve on the outside has an annular groove 21 in which a spring ring 22 (Fig. 2) is mounted. In the sleeve-shaped front part of the push button, an annular groove 23 is provided on the inside, which is intended for the engagement of the spring ring 22 and which acts to lock the pull button and with it also the linear guide tube in that position
when the inner limit position of the grinding movement to the tip of the mine it is enough and the actuation movement for the mine clamping device begins. The resistance of the locking effected by the spring ring 22 in the axial direction is so great that it cannot be overcome by the K .Taft of the return spring.
In order to trigger the lock, an additional force must be exerted by hand on the push button in the sense of R.üekholfeder 19. On the rear part of the lead guide tube 6, 6 ', a square screw sleeve 24 is fixed between the filter piece 7 and the push button 18, which has a steeply curved part 25 and is guided in the guide ring 20, which for this purpose is attached to the ( Luersehnitt of the screw sleeve 24 has adapted square hole.
The rear end of the square sleeve is seen with claws 26 ver, which engage in corresponding recesses 27 in the push button when the square sleeve is pushed back and thus. Bring the lead guide tube into motion connection with the square sleeve.
The handling of the filler pencil described is possible in any case without the aid of the left hand. For example, the adjustment or replacement of the mine is easily possible by pulling the push button out of the locked position in FIG. 1 with the thumb or index finger of the hand holding the filling pencil. pressed further inwards and the clamping cone 8 is partially opened. Likewise, the locked push button can be disengaged outwards by means of the thumb and forefinger of the hand holding the pencil, the spring 19 moving the push button outwards.
Subsequently, the lead can be pointed with the thumb solely by a few quick successive push-in movements on the push button. With every push-in movement, the square sleeve becomes due to the frictional resistance of the wound part 2:
5 in. The guide ring 20 is pushed back and the coupling 26, 27 is thereby engaged. As a result, the mine guide tube is rotated when pushing the mine on the Sehleifhehre at the same time with each forward grinding movement. This ensures that the lead is always guided to the grinding body in a different rotary position and a conical tip is ground to the lead.
When the push button is moved back, a small axial displacement of the square sleeve is again achieved as a result of the friction of the same in the guide ring 20, through which the clutch 6, 27 is disengaged. and therefore no rotation of the lead tube occurs.
By holding the filling pencil horizontally while sharpening, the grinding dust is retained and accumulated in the latter in the space between the end ring 15 and the guide piece 2 thanks to the end ring 15 in the sleeve tip. After the push button has been locked in the position according to FIG. 1, this space is completely closed off during the mine-sharpening process when replacing and adjusting the mine, so that clothes or hands cannot be soiled by mine dust.
Occasionally the collecting space for the mine dust can be emptied by removing and knocking out the sleeve tip.
