Device for generating a frictional force between two machine parts that can move relative to one another. The invention relates to a device for generating .ein frictional force between two relatively movable machine parts, which frictional force is only temporarily dependent on the surface properties of the Reibungsflä.
According to the invention, for the frictional connection of the two machine parts between them there is a mechanism which causes the frictional force to be created by spring pressure and is provided on one machine part between two stops with play; the same be seated at least one against the other Ma machine part abutting friction part, which is moved during a relative movement of the machine parts under the action of the stops and the -Fe derdruckes such that the friction force is regulated to a setpoint range.
In the accompanying drawings, some embodiments of the subject invention are shown.
They show: FIGS. 1 and 2 in a schematic representation two basic embodiments, FIGS. 3-7 tubular brakes, in longitudinal (FIGS. 3, 5-7) or cross-section (FIG. 4), namely FIGS. 3, 4 or 5 or 6 each have an embodiment example corresponding to the basic arrangement according to FIG. 1 and FIG. 7 an embodiment based on the basic embodiment according to FIG. 2.
A brake generally has two parts that can move relative to one another. The braking device is z. B. arranged on one part and acts with a brake shoe on a friction surface on the other part. In the drawing (Fig. 1 and 2) be denotes 1 the part on which the braking device is arranged, i.e. the carrier of the braking device, which is assumed to be moved in the direction of the arrow, and 2 the friction surface assumed to be at rest. pointing part.
The contact pressure acts on the brake shoe 9 perpendicular to the friction surface. This is derived from a spring force which acts either parallel to it (FIG. 1) or across it (FIG. 2) with respect to the direction of the braking force.
In the basic embodiment of FIG. 1 is -on, the carrier l a base plate 3 with stops 4 and 5 arranged immovably. The spring 6 generating the contact pressure is installed with pretension between expanding wedges 7 and B, which are mounted in a guide 3a of the base plate 3 so as to be displaceable in the braking force direction and apply the contact pressure to counter surfaces 9a, 8a via wedge surfaces 7a, 8a.
9b on the brake shoe 9 is transferred perpendicular to the friction surface 2. The brake shoe 9 carries a friction lining 10. The wedge angle on the surfaces 7a, 8a, 9a, 9b must not be in the area of the self-locking.
The brake device consisting of the brake shoe 9, the expanding wedges 7, 8 and the spring 6 is built between the movable carrier 1 and the fixed part 2 so that there is little play between the stops 4, 5 and the expanding wedges 7, 8 , in such a way that in retirement nothing of the bias of the pressure spring 6 is transferred to the stops. The way this arrangement works is as follows:
If the carrier 1 is pushed ver in the direction of the arrow, then after covering the short play during which a braking effect does not occur, the stop 4 comes to rest on the expanding wedge 7, and at least one force corresponding to the full braking force now acts on this expanding wedge. This is counteracted by the bias of the spring 6 generating the contact pressure.
The spring tension is partially canceled in its effect on the brake shoe 9 (surfaces 7a-9a) according to the respective braking force, which depends on the respective coefficient of friction (measuring spring effect of the pressure spring 6), that is, the brake shoe is in the sense of Equal pressure effect released by lifting the expanding wedge 7 from the brake shoe.
One has to imagine this process in such a way that the braking effect at the moment: the ventilation decreases briefly until the brake shoe has found its new setting on the now closer together expanding wedges 7 and 8, whereby the equilibrium state has re-entered.
In the second basic embodiment according to FIG. 2, the line of action of the spring 11 generating the contact pressure runs transversely to the direction of the braking force. The order is simpler in structure than that of FIG. 1, as there are no movable expanding wedges between the spring and base plate 5 and the spring is installed directly between the base plate 12 and the brake shoe 13.
On the base plate stops 14, 1.5 are provided, which are also formed as wedge surfaces. and cooperate with corresponding surfaces 13a and 13b on the brake shoe. Again, between the brake jaw 13 and the stops 14, 15 a ge ring movement is provided.
The way we act is as follows: If the carrier 1 together with the base plate 12 is moved in the direction of the arrow, then after a short idle stroke around the movement clearance via the stop 15, the full braking force in the inclined surface 13b of the brake shoe 13 comes into play. The partial force coinciding with that of the spring 11 with its line of action causes a lowering of the contact pressure on the friction surface 2 in the sense of releasing the brake according to the fact that the predetermined braking force is exceeded in basically the same way as in the first embodiment (constant pressure effect).
In both cases, the frictional force between parts 1, 2 is only dependent on the surface properties of the friction surfaces when temporarily adjusting parts 6, 7, 8, 9 or 11, 13, and this setting or moving parts 9, 13 on part 1 takes place in such a way that the frictional force is regulated to a target value range.
Fig. 3 and 4 show in longitudinal and cross-section (according to the line 4-4 in Fig. 3) a first practical embodiment for a pipe brake according to the first basic embodiment (Fig. 1), such as in a return device for automatic weapons is used.
It denotes 16 the stationary support of the braking device, which this time is to be thought of as being connected to the shooting frame, 17 the movable part having the friction surface, hereinafter referred to as the brake cylinder. The braking device consists of brake shoes 18-21 with corresponding brake pads 22 which are held together by snap rings 23 th.
Again, as in FIG. 1, the brake shoes are provided with wedge surfaces 20a, 20b etc. and act with corresponding surfaces on concentrically arranged surfaces. Wedges 24, 25, 26 (upper half, Fig. 3) and 27, 28, 29 (lower half, Fig. 3) together.
In order to generate the contact pressure, between tween the inner wedge ring 24 and the two end rings 25 and 26 preloaded springs 30, 31 are installed or a single continuous spring 32 between the end rings 28, 29 in the lower half of FIG.
The end rings 25, 26 and 28, 29 carry oil control rings 33, 34 and interact with stops on the carrier 16, of which the stop 35 is fixed, while the stop 36 is movable against the buffer spring 37.
In Fig. 3, the state is shown that occurs when the brake cylinder 17 in the direction of the arrow together with the returning weapon to .das movement game until the end ring 26 (or 29) has pushed ver against the stop 36 and now the braking force in In the sense of the equal pressure effect on the spring 31 and via the wedge ring 24 on the spring 30 or (lower half, FIG. 3) on the spring 32.
The embodiment according to FIG. 5 shows a reversal of the example according to FIG. 3, lower half, in that the carrier for the braking device is formed as an outer tube 38 with a recess 38a, the end faces 38b and 38c of which act as stops for the end wedge rings 39 and 40 serve.
The contact pressure is exerted by the continuous spring 41 via pressure rings 42, 43 on the end rings and via wedge surfaces 39a and 40a to the brake shoes 44, 45, which are provided with corresponding mating surfaces, and from these via intermediate wedge rings 46; 47, 48 transferred to the brake shoes 49, 50 on.
The brake shoes work together with a tubular friction lining 51 on the stationary brake cylinder 52. The effect of this device is basically the same as that of FIGS. 3 and 4 and FIG.
In Fig. 6, as a further embodiment example, a variant of the basic embodiment of FIG. 1, that is, with the line of action of the pressure spring oriented parallel to the braking force direction.
This time there are not individual brake shoes, as provided for the tubular brakes according to FIGS. 3-5; The brake shoe is, rather, the bushing 53, which is cut out laterally in such a way that cross-wise webs 53a remain, which enclose the brake cylinder 54, which is assumed to be movable in the direction of the arrow. The bush 53 can change (breathe) its diameter in the area of the webs 53a under axial load.
The contact pressure is provided by the spring 55 arranged concentrically to the bushing, which is built in with prestress between the end flanges 53b and 53e, with washers 56 and 57 in between. The end flange 53c is expediently designed as a screw nut in order to adjust the preload of the spring 55. The braking device 53, 55, 56, 57 is in turn with little play between tween the stops 58a and 58b of the carrier 58, which is assumed to be stationary, is arranged.
The equal pressure effect comes about by the fact that when the brake cylinder 54 is displaced in the direction of the arrow, the end of the bushing 53 rests against the stop 58b and the play of forces between contact pressure and braking force, which is explained in connection with FIG. 1, occurs, with the effect that the webs 53a of the brake sleeve 53 are slightly lifted by the brake cylinder 54 until equilibrium occurs.
The embodiment according to FIG. 7 is constructed according to the principles of the basic embodiment according to FIG. 2, that is to say the zone of action of the springs generating the contact pressure runs transversely to the direction of the braking force. The brake shoes form resilient expansion rings 59,
which are slotted at 59a and have outwardly sloping conical surfaces 59b and 59c on their end faces. The expanding rings 59 are assembled like a friction ring spring with closed outer rings 60,
which are provided with counter surfaces 60a and 60b to interact with the conical surfaces on the expansion rings.
The spring column 59, 60 is held together by two identical conical surfaces as the closed rings 60 tra lowing end plates 61, 62, of which 61 forms the flange of a sleeve 61a, on the free end of the end plate 62, which carries a guide connector 62a, slidable is pushed and set by means of a threaded nut 63 to regulate the contact pressure who can.
The braking device 59, 60, 61, 62 is movably mounted on the support rod 64, which has to be thought of as being stationary, with little play between the stop collars 65, 66. The braking device is built into the brake cylinder 67 arranged concentrically therewith.
The effect of this pipe brake corresponds to that of the basic embodiment of Fig. 2, that is, when the Bremszylin is shifted 67 in the direction of the arrow, the braking force tries after the end of the end of the sleeve 61a on the stop 66 the effect of the contact pressure on the cone surfaces on expanding rings To overcome outer rings and end plates 62 if it is larger than intended. The brake is briefly released until the equilibrium is set as often as the frictional force leaves the predetermined value range.
The effect of the brake is the same when the arrangement of the rings is reversed, such that part 64 becomes the brake cylinder and part 67 becomes the carrier of the braking device and the stops (compare the reversal of the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 5). .
In the embodiment according to FIG. 7, it is particularly expedient that the cross-sections of the slotted rings 59 decrease from the point opposite the slot to the slot 59a so that when the spring is axially stressed, the rings under the action of radial, evenly circumferential distributed forces remain circular through the closed outer rings.
It is not necessary to use the power line from which the contact pressure to generate the spring - on the brake shoe stops or intermediate links with wedge or conical surface; Rather, the same effect can also be achieved with expansion joints that are switched between the brake shoe or brake shoes and the intermediate links serving as an abutment of the pressure spring.
