Ce palier est caractérisé par le fait que le chaton du<B>,</B> contre-pivot a la forme d'un cadre allongé dont les côtés dirigés suivant le grand axe prennent appui sur le contre-pivot et dont les côtés dirigés suivant le petit axe présen tent des saillies extérieures pénétrant dans une gorge annulaire intérieure du corps de palier.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue en plan d'un palier fixe de balancier, et la fig. 2 est une coupe suivant II-II de la fig. 1.
Le palier-représenté comprend un corps 1 destiné à être ajusté dans la platine ou clans un pont (coq) d'une pièce d'horlogerie. La pierre percée 2 est chassée dans le corps 1.
La pierre contre-pivot 3 repose sur le fond d'une creusure 4 pratiquée dans le corps 1 et est maintenue en place par un cadre 5 légère ment élastique, de forme générale rectang@l- laire. Les grands côtés 5a de ce cadre pren- iient -appui sur le contre-pivot 3, alors que les petits côtés 5b, en forme d'arcs de cercle, présentent les saillies extérieures 5c, 5d et 5e pénétrant dans une gorge annulaire inté rieure 6 pratiquée dans le corps de palier.
Le cadre 5 est ouvert en 7. Les côtés 5a présen- tent chacun deux languettes 5f, découpées et repliées vers le bas, et constituant des griffes .entre lesquelles est pincé le contre-pivot 3. Ce dernier est maintenu élastiquement grâce à la lente 7.
Les entrées 8 et. 9, pratiquées dans le corps 1, permettent l'introduction des saillies extérieures dans la gorge 6.

The counter-pivot stone 3 rests on the bottom of a recess 4 made in the body 1 and is held in place by a slightly elastic frame 5, of generally rectangular shape. The large sides 5a of this frame bear on the counter-pivot 3, while the small sides 5b, in the form of arcs of a circle, have the external projections 5c, 5d and 5e penetrating into an internal annular groove. 6 made in the bearing housing.
