Fig.1 ist eine Seitenansicht dieser Aus führung.
Fig. 2 ist ein Grundriss derselben.
Diese Windung verhindert den Wickel daran, sieh -unter der Wirkung des Antriebes der Band schlaufe zusammenzuziehen. Ist in der Kas sette ein Nadeltonband enthalten, so ist dieses mit einer rillenförmigen Schallspur versehen, die aus mehreren parallel oder nahezu par allel zur Bandkante verlaufenden, ineinander übergehenden Schallzeilen besteht, die die Schallaufzeichnung enthalten und dazu be stimmt sind, durch die Abspielnadel bzw. den Saphir eines Nadeltonkopfes abgetastet zu werden;
System for sound recording on magnetic tapes and for the optional playback of sound recordings from magnetic tapes and from endless needle tapes. Devices are known for playing back sound recordings from endless needle tapes, that is, from sound tapes provided with mechanically scannable sound writing, which are stored in exchangeable cassettes and have a sound track consisting of several sound lines running at least approximately parallel to the edge of the tape with a needle head,
a support table for the cassette and at the level of an outlet opening provided in the narrow side of the cassette for a loop of the needle tape, arranged, drivable deflection roller for this tape, and in which the needle head beyond this deflection roller, in the lienrielitung, so across the bandwidth, is arranged movable Lich.
The purpose of the invention is to provide a system for recording sound on magnetic tapes, which can also be used for the optional playback of magnetic tapes and sound recordings on endless needle tapes, which are stored in exchangeable cassettes and one of several, at least approximately parallel to the tape edge. merging sound lines have existing sound track, who can be used.
This system is characterized in that the magnetic sound tapes are stored in cassettes of the same type as the needle tapes and have a sound recording surface which consists of a recording dam of several dam lines running at least approximately parallel to the tape edge and merging into one another and that it also has a recording and recording area Playback device includes, which has a magnetic head and a needle head, which can be combined with the sound tape of a cassette placed on the device in the working position optionally.
An example of an embodiment and a variant of the system according to the invention are shown schematically in the drawing.
Fig.1 is a side view of this imple mentation.
Fig. 2 is a plan view of the same.
Fig. 3 is. a floor plan of a tape head of this embodiment on a larger scale, and Fig. 4 is a floor plan of a variant of this tape head.
The system shown comprises a recording and reproducing device and flat tape cassettes. The Aufzeiehnungs- and playback device is with a support table 1 for the interchangeable cassettes 2, which tape an endless, mechanically scannable needle tone tape or an endless magnetic tape can contain, th. The tape rests in the form of a roll 3 on a plate 4 rotatably mounted in the cassette and forms a tape loop 5 outside the roll by rising out of the roll in at least one turn and running over the roll onto the outside again .
This winding prevents the winding from pulling together the loop under the action of the drive. If the cassette contains a needle tape, it is provided with a groove-shaped sound track, which consists of several parallel or almost parallel to the tape edge, merging sound lines, which contain the sound recording and are intended to be passed through the playback needle or to be scanned the sapphire of a needle-tone head;
If, on the other hand, a magnetic tape is contained in the cassette, this is provided with a smooth guide groove that runs like the groove-shaped sound track of the needle-tone tape, the tape being labeled on the dams that have remained between the lines of the guide groove during the Guide groove falls to the task of receiving a guide pin, which slides along the guide groove when the tape runs down and in this way ensures the prior written position of a recording or scanning magnet against the currently labeled or labeled dam of the magnetic tape.
The cassette plate 4 is driven by a drive member 6 which penetrates the cassette support table 1 and consists of a shaft mounted in the support table 1, the upper end of which is provided with one half of a claw coupling which, when the cassette 2 is placed on the cassette table With. the associated coupling half seated on the cassette plate 4 comes into engagement.
The flat cassette 2, in which the tape is arranged on edge, is at 7 with. an opening for the passage of the tape loop 5 is provided, and in front of this opening and at its height, a deflection roller is arranged around which the tape loop 5 is placed. The pulley 8 is supported by a shaft 10 getra 5 gene, which sets the fixed plate 9 of the device, which could be formed in one piece with the plate 1 of the cassette table.
Next to the deflection roller 8 are two pressure rollers 11, 12, the axes of which do not pass through. The longitudinal slots shown in the plate 9 extend and which can optionally be brought to bear on the deflecting roller 8, as is shown in FIG. 2 in solid lines, or moved into a position remote from the deflecting roller. can be, as shown in Fig. 2 in dash-dotted lines.
The position of the pressure rollers 7.1, 12 with respect to the U-guide roller 8 is such that when the pressure rollers are brought into contact with the deflection roller 8, the sound or audio tape touches at least half the circumference of the deflection roller.
The drive shaft 6 for the cassette turntable 4 and the shaft 10 of the deflection roller 8 are each provided with a belt pulley 13 or 14 at their lower end and are connected to one another by a belt 15. On the shaft 10 of the pulley 8 there is also a belt pulley 16 which, by means of a belt 17, establishes the connection with the drive motor of the device. From the motor 18, which is attached to the underside of the plate 1, who is thus driven via the belt 17, the shafts 6 and 10 and thus the cassette plate 4 and the pulley 8 together.
Furthermore, in a manner not shown, provision is made for the contact rollers 11, 12 to be applied to the guide roller 8 when the motor circuit is switched on.
Beyond the pulley 8, a sound head 19 is arranged, which is movable in the vertical direction of the device, ie transversely to the width of the tape. This tape head is. shown on a larger scale in FIG.
The sound head contains, as can be seen from Fig. 3, in a common housing 21 and at the same height a magnetic sound head 22 and a needle head 23, which are arranged side by side, the housing 21 opposite the sound scanning point on the pulley 8 in the longitudinal direction of the Tape is displaceable so that either the magnetic head 22 or the needle head 23 can be brought in front of the scanning point.
A guide pin 24 is mounted laterally next to a magnet of the magnetic sound head 22 on the housing 21 and is pressed resiliently in a guide sleeve 25 in the direction of the deflecting roller 8.
This guide pin, the resilience of which can be adjusted by means of an adjusting tube 27 pressing on the spring 26, has. such a position opposite the magnetic sound head that it extends, in the working position of the magnetic sound head, at least approximately perpendicular to the tape surface, in the vicinity of the scanning point of the same against the deflection roller 8 and that, if it is in a line of grooves in the guide groove around the roller 8 running magnetic tape is used,
the magnet of the magnetic head sweeps the line of writing on the magnetic tape that is assigned to this line of grooves.
In the variant of Fig. 4, also in a common, rotatable about its axis housing 28, a magnetic sound head 29 and a needle head 30 are arranged on diametrically opposite sides, so that you can choose between the magnetic head 29 or the needle head 30 in front of the scanning point can bring onto the pulley 8 by removing the housing 28 from the pulley 8,
rotates around its axis by 180 and brings it back to the pulley 8. In addition to the magnet of the magnetic sound head 29, as in the case of FIG. 3, a guide pin attached to the housing.
In the cassette table 1 is at a point over which the tape wrap when the cassette is in place. 3 is, a cutout is provided in which an erasing electromagnet 20 is only indicated schematically. The circuit of this magnet can be closed and geöff net by a not dargestell th push button switch. So if you want to erase the recording on the magnetic tape of the cassette in question, you only need to let the cassette platter 4 revolve a few times and turn on the erasing magnet 20.
The unlabeled magnetic tape is delivered fully cassette.
If the tape is labeled, it can be played immediately and at any time, whereby it remains in the same cassette in which it was delivered unlabelled.
The electrical part of the system assigned to the sound head is not shown in the drawing; but the same can be formed by the electrical part of a radio receiver, which forms part of the system, with a switching device is provided through which the magnetic head optionally for labeling magnetic tape on the receiving side of the radio receiver and for playing an already labeled magnetic tape the playback side (loudspeaker) of the radio receiver can be connected. The upper wall of the radio receiver can be designed as a flip-up cover and a flat space under the cover for receiving the device described.
The device described can, however, also be installed in a special compartment of a radio cabinet or some other piece of furniture containing a radio receiver or be designed as a stand-alone case device that can be electrically connected to a radio receiver. The said, from the device described with reference to the drawing and a radio receiver existing system has the advantage that you can record any radio programs in magnetic sound with it without any special preparations.
For this purpose, a cassette containing an unlabeled magnetic tape is placed on the cassette table 1 of the device, and the tape loop 5 of this tape is pulled out of the cassette and placed around the pulley 8. Then the motor 18 is switched on and the pressure rollers 11, 12 are applied to the order steering roller 8 or to the band running around this. The application of the pressure rollers expediently takes place at the same time as the motor is switched on. The magnetic tape is now ready for recording.
As soon as the radio broadcast to be recorded begins, the magnetic sound head is placed on the magnetic sound tape. If the recording is finished, the now labeled magnetic tape can be used immediately. be played again, and needs. For this purpose, only the electrical part of the device is switched to playback and the magnetic head is moved across the width of the tape, ie to be reset to the beginning of the sound recording. The finished be written tape can also be lifted from the cassette table 1 together with its cassette and placed on a shelf together with the cassette for the purpose of any later playback.
The shelf life of magnetic tapes is limited. If the owner of the system wishes to include a particular magnetic sound recording available to him or a self-made magnetic sound recording in his sound recording collection, he has corresponding needle tapes produced from this magnetic sound recording using methods known per se. These needle tapes are supplied in cassettes of the same size and design as those of the magnetic tape and are therefore always playable with the system described, with only the magnetic head of the tape head 19 needs to be exchanged for the needle head.
After copying onto needle tapes, the magnetic tapes are available again and can be cleared for other sound recordings. For this purpose, the individual magnetic tape together with its cassette is placed on the cassette table 1 of the device and, while the motor 18 is running, is written by briefly switching on the erasing magnet 20.
