Description
Fuel-controlled injector. The invention relates to fuel-controlled injection nozzles in which the fuel is released before it exits. from the nozzle mixed with 1) ruekluft and injected together with this into the 1Totorzplinder.
So far, there has been no actual throttling of the fuel to be injected before it was mixed with the compressed air, so that the seat of the nozzle needle head at the injection gap, at which the mixture was also controlled, had to be kept correspondingly wide, which led to difficulties with regard to proper functioning Seal led.
According to the invention, this disadvantage should be eliminated in that, in addition to controlling the mixture at the nozzle needle head, the liquid fuel is throttled at a point that is located in the fuel supply line before the point where the fuel is mixed with the compressed air .
An embodiment of the subject of the invention is explained in the following description with reference to the accompanying drawing.
1 is. The nozzle outer part with the laterally attached 1.iufteinlassstut.zen 2. The nozzle inner part 3 is inserted into the outer part 1 and is held in place by means of a nut 4. The nozzle needle guide part with the sleeve 5 and the extension 6 is accommodated in the nozzle inner part 3, on the same axis as this and the outer part 1. The nozzle needle guide part contains the outwardly opening nozzle needle 7 with the needle head B.
The guide sleeve 5 moves into an extension 9 of the nozzle inner part 3, which also surrounds the closing spring 7.0 arranged around the guide sleeve 5 and the spring abutment 11. The extension 6 adjoining the Füh guide sleeve 5 forms a chamber 12 which is located immediately in front of the seat 24 of the needle head and surrounds part of the needle shaft.
Between the nozzle outer part 1 and the nozzle inner part 3 is. Leave an intermediate space 13 in the region of the recess 9. This gap 13 is through oblique bores or channels 14 of the needle guide part in connection with the mixing chamber 12. It is, however, by a dimensionally stable sealing ring 15, the shoulder 17 between the inner end face 16 of the nozzle inner part 3 and the transition between the guide sleeve 5 and the extension - 6 is arranged, separated from the recess 9 of the inner part 3.
The nozzle inner part 3 contains an axial bore 7.8 which merges into the recess 9 already mentioned and not at its outer end as a connection for one. Darge presented fuel line is formed.
The nozzle needle 7 also has an axial longitudinal channel 19 which opens into the mixing chamber in the vicinity of the needle head 8 with radial or un dangerous radial bores 20. The longitudinal channel 19 can be open at the inner end of the nozzle needle 8 and in particular see ver there with a throttle point. However, as shown, the inner end of the longitudinal channel 19 can also be closed and the needle 7 can be provided with several lateral throttle bores 21 for the fuel supply.
The guide sleeve 5 then has a transverse bore 22 which is arranged in such a way that when the nozzle needle is opened it establishes the connection between the recess 9 of the nozzle upper part and the transverse bores 21 of the needle shaft. The transverse bores 21 or 22 can open into an annular groove 23 provided on the needle shaft or in the needle guide sleeve, which ensures the correct covering of the bores.
The nozzle acts in the following way: the fuel is pressed through the feed line (not shown) with the aid of an injection pad into the bore 18 and the recess 9 of the nozzle inner part 3. The fuel pressure on the inner end of the nozzle needle 7 causes the needle to open.
During this opening stroke, the transverse bores 21 of the needle shaft slide in front of the transverse bore 22 of the guide sleeve 5, so that the fuel from the space 9 passes through these bores with throttling into the longitudinal channel 19 and through the bores 20 of the nozzle needle into the mixing chamber,
in this with the one through the air inlet nozzle \? The compressed air that has entered the mixing chamber via the annular space 13 and the inclined bores 14 is brought into contact and is intimately mixed and is injected into the cylinder space together with the compressed air through the injection gap under control of the mixture.
The control ring of the air and fuel through the needle 7 is such that first the air supply at the needle head 8 and then the fuel supply at the bores 21 is opened and then the fuel is closed first and then the air supply.
