Fast lens with anastigmatic flattening of the image field based on the modified Gauss type. The present invention.
relates to a bright lens with an anastigmatic flattening of the image field in the modified Gaussian type with two lens halves enclosing the diaphragm plane, with the half F on the side of the longer radiation distance facing the lens in the sense of the photographic recording and an extension as a front element the Gaussian lens half, while the one on the other side of the diaphragm plane P,
rear lens half H has the shape design of a non-enlarged lens half.
The bright lens according to the present invention, the relative opening useful between about. 1: 2 and 1.:1- is characterized in that the front lens half F, which is on the side of the longer radiation distance and which forms the front element, is constructed in such a way that the front lens half against the meniscus-shaped lens element 1, which limits the longer radiation width and which is hollow towards the diaphragm plane, two lens pairs II preceding the diaphragm plane L,
III are connected after, which in turn consist of meniscus-shaped individual lenses, all of which are also hollow towards the diaphragm plane and at the same time have opposite strength signs in pairs.
The meniscus-shaped lens element I, which delimits the front lens half against the longer radiation range, expediently has a positive refractive power if the lens is to serve as a recording lens of an oscilloscope camera for recording screen images of a roasting pan. It is. In the lens space an increased rays convergence is expedient and accordingly a Sam inelffekt the limiting member limiting the longer radiation distance particularly before geous.
The lens element I limiting the longer radiation range can also have a negative refractive power, and the lens is used when it proves to be advantageous for the lens to influence the main point position in such a way that it is sideways in the direction of light to be shifted towards the shorter radiation distance.
One such measure is. especially with very bright lenses, which due to this structural design then have a longer image-side section width pö and can therefore be installed particularly favorably in photographic recording devices in which diaphragms surround the rear lens of the lens and the light-sensitive film or reflector, mirror are arranged.
Such an influence on the main point position is over. the more effective, the greater the distance A between the front lens half and the longer radiation range limiting the meniscus-shaped lens element I, which is hollow toward the diaphragm, from the diaphragm B, as investigations in this regard have shown. Appropriately, this lens member 1 of the front lens half is arranged at a distance A from the diaphragm plane, which is greater than a third of the total focal length of the lens.
If such a lens is only used with full aperture and therefore does not contain a physical aperture, the center of the free aperture space is to be considered as the location of the lead plane and is decisive for the technical determination of this distance, in which the two meniscus-shaped and against the Aperture plane hollow individual lenses existing lens pairs II and III of the front element F are accommodated.
In the front element there is the meniscus-shaped lens element I, which delimits this towards the longer radiation width and which is hollow towards the diaphragm, at the point of the largest beam cross-section. As a result, in order to achieve relatively small surface curvatures, the glass used for this purpose expediently has a refractive index (n1) which is greater than the refractive index of the glass of the lens (L5) delimiting this front element on the side of the diaphragm plane, the refractive index of which is denoted by n5,
which refractive indices here and in the following are always related to the yellow d-line of the helium spectrum.
This is especially indicated when the lens according to the present invention is used with a large relative aperture. In this case, the meniscus-shaped lens element I that delimits the longer radiation range is possibly composed of two cemented individual lenses, this element assembled on the cemented surface KI then also being used for spherical or eromatic partial correction or several partial corrections of the objective.
In Fig. 1 of the drawing is. the naming scheme. of the lens according to the present invention. It denotes 1, II and III the three arranged on the side of the longer radiation width and collectively referred to as the front member F lens members, those on the other side of the diaphragm labeled B the rear consisting of the lens members IV and V Lens half H follows. RK, indicates a cemented surface in the lens element I, if this lens element I is composed of individual lenses.
R Krv is analogously a cemented surface in the lens element IV. A indicates the distance of the object-side front element I, measured from the apex of the inner radius R "along the optical axis to the aperture B.
The naming scheme. is shown with regard to the neighboring surface pairs contained in the individual lens elements and their design, as well as the closed air gaps, if applicable, based on the numerical example described below.
The individual lenses L and the radii of curvature R of the lens surfaces are just like the refractive indices 7i. of the glasses used are numbered consecutively from the side with the longer radiation range to the side with the shorter radiation range. Likewise, the lens thicknesses d and the air gaps a are numbered consecutively, with the aperture space a "i being shown divided into the object-side part b1 and the image-side part b".
FIG. 2, in conjunction with the number table below, gives an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention for f = 100 mm focal length, reduced to two thirds of the natural size. The veiived glasses are characterized by their refractive index n., 1 and by the Abbe number v.
